Story
Meet Artic - a 3-year-old Siberian Husky mix who showed up at the shelterwith his friend Athena after hearing all the barking and clearly assumingthey`d discovered a luxury dog resort. (Spoiler: not a resort. More likejail. Very confusing.)This friendly, high-energy goofball lives for zoomies, running at top speedfor no apparent reason, and toys, balls, and basically anything he canfling, chase, or entertain himself with. Artic is perfectly happy playingsolo when needed, but he`s also very into people cheering him on like he`sin the Zoomie Olympics. He`s a big fan of foraging for treats-nose down, mission engaged-and has aspecial talent for submerging his entire face in water like he`s bobbing forapples in slow motion. With pool season approaching, Artic is alreadymentally prepared to be the lifeguard and the main attractionIf you`re looking for a fun-loving, energetic companion who brings laughs, splashes, and constant motion into your life, Artic is ready to turn yourbackyard into a summer adventure park.

Story
Dallas – The Last Husky StandingDallas came to the shelter with two siblings, and now he’s the only one left. He’s fully aware of this tragic plot twist and is ready to steal your heart so he never has to be the last one waiting again. When Dallas first comes out of his kennel, he can be a little stressed and wildly energetic — we call it his “Husky Launch Mode.” Give him about five minutes to shake it off and he transforms into a sweet, curious explorer who’s much calmer and ready to connect.Dallas loves to run, chase balls, and pounce on toys. He’ll even carry them around proudly on occasion, but don’t expect a fetch champion — returning the toy is simply not part of his personal philosophy. He’s picky with treats and far more interested in sniffing and investigating the world around him. Once he slows down, he hands out the gentlest little kisses. Before coming to the shelter, Dallas lived with a family who said he was crate trained and had some basic training, though he will need some leash work. He’s friendly with adults and kids, but cats make him suspicious and he tends to bark at them.Dallas was surrendered simply because his family had too many dogs and he just needs a home where he can be the star, burn off his husky energy, and finally stop being the last one waiting.

Story
Meet Blue Eyes – The Husky Who Read the “Indoor Voice” Memo 1-year-old male Husky mixProfessional heartthrob. Amateur lap dog. Part-time sled puller.First of all… the eyes. Blue Eyes has the kind of piercing blue stare that makes you forget what you were saying mid-sentence. He doesn’t look into your soul — he politely knocks and waits to be invited in.If you’ve ever loved the idea of a Husky but worried about living with a 24/7 snow-powered tornado, allow us to introduce your plot twist: a lower-energy Husky. Yes, they exist. And yes, he’s real.Blue Eyes knows “sit,” possibly “leave it” (especially if you have a better treat), and is extremely treat-motivated. This boy will absolutely apply himself academically if snacks are involved. Bonus: he takes treats gently like the polite gentleman he is.He’s affectionate in that classic Husky way — leans into you for pets, gazes lovingly into your eyes, and then casually attempts to climb into your lap as if he weighs 12 pounds instead of… not 12 pounds. On leash? He does pull — but in his defense, he is a Husky. Somewhere deep in his DNA, he believes there is a sled that needs moving. With consistency and a little training, he’ll learn that suburban sidewalks are not the Iditarod.Blue Eyes can be dog selective and may prefer being your one and only leading man. Honestly, he seems perfectly content focusing all that devotion (and dramatic eye contact) on his person. If you want a strikingly handsome, slightly dramatic, sweet, snack-loving companion who might try to sit in your lap and occasionally pretend he’s pulling a sled — Blue Eyes is ready for his starring role in your life.

Story
Meet Luna – The Shy Dog Grad With a Big, Bright Heart! Luna is a gorgeous 2-year-old spayed Alaskan Husky mix—and yes, she really does have one blue eye and one brown eye! A proud graduate of the Shy Dog Program, Luna has blossomed into a sweet, energetic girl who loves to run, zoom, and soak up all the joy an open yard can offer. She’s playful with balls and toys (especially the chasing part!), and she’s happy to come trotting back when you call her name. This smart girl already knows sit, takes treats oh-so gently, and leans in close when she’s comfortable, soaking up affection from people she trusts. Luna appears dog-friendly through the fence, though we always recommend a meet-and-greet to ensure the right match for everyone. If you’re looking for a stunning, spirited companion who’s come a long way in her confidence journey, Luna is ready to shine by your side.
