Story
Bella is a 6 year old spayed husky that we received about a year ago from a random Facebook post. She is a ball of energy and very playful. She loves being outside and swimming in her kiddie pool. She has never been aggressive towards people or even strangers. We believe she does need a home where she is the only dog. She is protective over toys and food/treats and wants them all to herself. She is also an escape artist and we believe she would benefit from having a lot of room to run, just not around town.

Story
It's True, I Act Like a Husky!Bear was born about December 16, 2017 and weighs about 35 lbs.  We must let you know right away that if you don't have Husky experience (in your adult life) your application will not be considered.  Bear is mixed, which shrunk his size, but he still has a whole Husky personality and has been nippy with humans entering the home and with the kids that were friends of his kids.  He did love his kids and they could do anything to him, but going forward no children in his next home, please.  He is one of those dogs that when company comes you will need to crate him or put him in a separate room and get your guests settled before he meets them and if you are walking on a street you will need to be wary of humans, and children, approaching him too quickly and too close since he really is quite stunning in appearance and humans are going to want to touch him.   Let's get the other negative out of the way - this boy SHEDS!!!  The good thing is that he adores being brushed and since he came to us very matted we had to shave him and he was SO wonderful about it as he sat on the woman's lap as she relieved him of A LOT of fur!  Bear has too much interest in cats to live with any comfortably.   Now for the good part - he loves car rides and is wonderful with other dogs and loves playing with them and is on the gentle side.  Bear moved in quickly and realized he lived here now and he adores all of us and we ADORE him!  He is a very quite guy and if he has something to say it's in the 'wooo-wooo' language and he is SO smart!  He listens to you and when you are talking to him you can tell in his gorgeous eyes that he is all about you and trying so hard to understand everything.  When treats are being handed out he lays quietly waiting for you to notice him and be sure to give him one.  Oh, and he LOVES water!  He loves to be in it and on it - boats, paddle boards, kayaks - he can do it all!!!   Someone (has to be the right someone) is going to love this boy to the moon and back!   The Adoption Fee for this dog is $400.00. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.   Can't Adopt Me?  SPONSOR ME Look for the Link 'Special Instructions to Seller' if you want to note a particular pet Before you seek to adopt a pet from Joyful Rescues, please read our Pet Adoption page http://www.joyfulrescues.org/pet_adoption.html. Story
Candy Klee Kai was born around August 12, 2018 and weighs about 30 pounds. This adorable little girl came with documents stating she is a pure bred Klee Kai, but we are listing her as a Siberian Husky mix as we aren't sure how many humans are out there searching for such an odd breed and if someone is searching for a Husky we want to be sure they spot our Candy!  This girl is wonderful in the car, does pull some on leash so a fenced in yard will be nice for her to get some exercise and besides, similar to Huskies, the breed tends to have wanderlust.  Candy is fantastic with other dogs, she is just fabulous!  She has a nice medium energy and tends not to be too noisy which we love.  Someone is going to be SO happy they found this gorgeous little thing! The Adoption Fee for this dog is $400.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. **Hi there! I'm Phoenix!🐦‍🔥** I'm a 1.5-year-old pittie/husky mix, but you can call me a "pitsky!" I weigh 45 lbs, and I’m full of energy and love ❤️. **A Little About Me:** - I know how to "sit," "lay down," and give you my "paw." 🐾 - I absolutely love cuddles and belly rubs. - I'm super friendly and enjoy meeting new people 🙋🏻‍♀️ and other dogs 🐕 **My Day-to-Day:** - Right now, I'm living with a "pugsky" friend, and we have a blast together. - I enjoy sitting in the front yard, watching the neighborhood go by. - Walkies 🐕‍🦺 are my favorite! I need them to burn off my husky energy. - I also love collecting chew bones 🦴 **My Home Life:** - I'm dog-friendly 🐶and kid-friendly 💏, but I haven't met any cats 🐈 yet, so I'm not sure about them. - I do well in a crate. At first, I might whine but I settle down. I'm looking for a forever home 🏡 that can give me lots of attention, walks, and fun activities to keep me busy. If you're looking for a sassy, affectionate, and energetic companion, I'm your girl! 🩷 Can't wait to meet you! Love, Phoenix 🐦‍🔥

Story
Top of the mornin' to ya! It's me Mullen, the most pleasant lad you'll ever meet! You don't hear about many Irish Siberian Huskies now do ya? But, here I am! With my ginger-red coat I am the talk of the town, however, I can only be adopted in my town because I am kind of an anxious kind of fellow. I love other dogs and must be adopted with another calm/confident dog please. My new owners need to be patient and great at building confidence in me, as I never was loved on as a pup so I am still nervous with new people and in new situations. However, I am very smart and learn quickly!! Some basic information about Mullen; he is male, Siberian Husky mix, and expected to be medium-sized (20-59lbs). Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
