Story
Sky is searching for her forever home and family. She came to the rescue from a VA Shelter after being confiscated for killing chickens. Any dog will kill chickens, doesn't mean they are bad. She is a sweet girl, came to us with Zeus, her partner in crime. You can adopt Sky by herself but if you are interested in adopting them both, please reach out and let's talk.
We'll also keep you updated on Zeus's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Zeus comes to us after being confiscated by animal control in VA for killing chickens. His original owner had rehomed him and one other husky to a family who failed them. They got out and killed a neighbor's chickens. The original owner even paid for the chickens (even though she had lost her job which is why she rehomed them to begin with) but still the judge required them to go to rescue only. The original owner is in the hospital and risking her life stressing over her babies not dying in the shelter. Zeus and his partner in crime Sky are both searching their forever homes now. They are sweet babies and deserve better. They do not have to be adopted together, although if you'd be interested in both we would certainly discuss that possibility with you! Let's get this boy his forever home!

Story
Meet Say It AIN'T Snow !Say It AIN'T Snow arrived to us as a stray, dropped off at the precinct, and has quickly shown himself to be an outgoing, curious, and affectionate companion. He enjoys attention from people, likes to explore his surroundings, and has a playful side that comes out during walks and playtime. He's friendly with volunteers and loves being engaged with toys and games. My Ideal HomeI would thrive in an active home where I get daily exercise, consistent training, and plenty of mental enrichment. A home with a securely fenced yard or a family that enjoys long walks, runs, or play sessions would be great. I'd do best with someone patient and consistent who can help channel my energy with positive-reinforcement training and regular activity.Good with Kids?Yes - Say It AIN'T Snow seems to enjoy people and would likely do well with children when supervised. Because he can be energetic, he's probably best with school-aged kids or older who understand how to interact with a lively dog.Good with Other Pets?Unknown with cats - introductions should be done cautiously. He may do well with other dogs if they are a good energy match; a proper meet-and-greet and slow, supervised introductions are recommended to ensure a good fit.Leash MannersHe has some enthusiasm on leash and would benefit from continued leash-training to reduce pulling and build focus. A front-clip harness, short training sessions, and reward-based practice will help him improve quickly.Overall HealthArrived as a stray and is being evaluated by our medical team. He appears to be in good condition and is receiving routine care while here.Behavior DeterminationExperienced Adopters - He shows lots of energy and independence, so an adopter who can provide consistent leadership, training, and regular exercise will set him up for success.Other Fun FactsHe's playful and loves toys and games, and he can be quite expressive - sometimes "talking" or giving a little howl. He enjoys zoomies and sniffing adventures, and he's eager to make new friends and be part of a loving family. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 45 Age: 5yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
I am new here, so everyone is still learning about my personality. They did say I am a "typical husky" whatever what means. I do know that I love to go for rides and wouldn't mind having a doggie friend to go on adventures with. Kitties and kids are also ok to me, I'm basically perfect for any active home.

Story
Stella is a beautiful Alaskan Huskie. She is 2 years old and recently found herself in a high k*ll shelter in LA. She would love for someone to save her before her time is up. There are too many dogs and too little space in this shelter. She is cheerful and full of life. she would do best with someone that can engage her in activities. If interested in having sweet Stella as a fun loving companion call/ text Jen (870)489-8203.
