Her only downside is my wife and kids adopted her from a shelter at 7 months old with the understanding that she was afraid of alpha men so she never warmed up to me so she barks at me.

Story
I was given Okami a bit over a week ago from someone on Facebook. Okami has all necessary shots as of 10/11/2024. Okami will be 5yrs old in November. He is a playful dog, knows some commands, he loves people but not respectful of their space, he loves other dogs but plays a bit aggressively. Okami is very protective of what he thinks is his, I would not trust him unsupervised around young children. He needs training for behavior. The previous owner did not train him to not jump on people and to not protect his food and toys. He will growel and snap at you if you touch his toys or food. I do not have the patience and time to fix these issues.

I weigh 45 lbs, and I’m full of energy and love ❤️. **A Little About Me:** - I know how to "sit," "lay down," and give you my "paw." 🐾 - I absolutely love cuddles and belly rubs. - I'm super friendly and enjoy meeting new people 🙋🏻‍♀️ and other dogs 🐕 **My Day-to-Day:** - Right now, I'm living with a "pugsky" friend, and we have a blast together. - I enjoy sitting in the front yard, watching the neighborhood go by. - Walkies 🐕‍🦺 are my favorite! Meet Luca who is an all white male pomsky. He is about 1 year old and weighs about 22 lbs. Luca came to the rescue from a farm, where he was living in a horse stall with 11 other dogs. Due to lack of socialization, he is very shy around people, but loves other dogs. Although he hasn't been playing with the resident dogs, Luca needs to have another friendly dog in his forever home to help him continue to learn how to be a dog.  Because of his flight risk, Luca requires a secure, physically fenced yard. Luca is finally beginning to learn what the good life is like.  He just recently started running in the grass and playing with toys.  Luca LOVES to play fetch!  He is crated during the day and even hangs out in the crate at times when he feels like it.  Luca has actually been sleeping with his human foster and cuddles close, as long as she doesn't look at him.  Although Luca is doing well with potty training, he does need a lot of work with leash walking, as he was never on a leash before.  At this time we do not know how Luca is with children or cats.  He will need a very patient adopter that understands that it will take awhile for him to adjust and warm up.  Luca is making steady progress with confidence and becoming more social every day, but he still has a ways to go. ##2056436##
