🚨 URGENT: HUSH NEEDS A HERO NOW 🚨 At just 2½ years old and only 24 pounds, Hush should be enjoying life, not sitting in a shelter wondering if anyone is coming for her. This stunning girl may be small in size, but her heart is enormous. Hush is sweet, gentle, and desperately hoping for a second chance. Every day she waits, her future becomes more uncertain. She doesn’t understand why she’s there — only that she longs for a family to love. 💖 Young and full of life 💖 Beautiful, unique, and unforgettable 💖 Ready to be someone’s loyal best friend 💖 In urgent need of rescue, foster, or adoption Hush deserves so much more than a kennel. She deserves cozy beds, belly rubs, adventures, and the security of knowing she is finally home. Right now, Hush’s life depends on someone stepping forward before it’s too late. Please don’t let this precious girl become another shelter statistic. A hero can be a foster. A hero can be a rescue. A hero can be an adopter. Story
🚨 URGENT – Meet Gallagher 🚨 Gallagher is a 10-month-old German Shepherd / Husky mix, neutered, and currently about 50 lbs and still growing. This handsome boy is the total package — incredibly friendly with people and other dogs, with a tail that never stops wagging. Gallagher is food-motivated and eager to learn, which has made training a success — he’s even graduated to off-leash time on property. He’s smart, happy, and thrives on engagement. As you’d expect from his breeds, Gallagher has lots of energy and would do best in an active home, especially one with another playful dog or humans who love being on the go. He’s the kind of pup who wants to be part of everything and will shine with the right outlet for his energy. Gallagher is still just a baby and needs a safe, committed home now so he can continue growing into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. Active home needed. Dog-friendly. People-loving. Gallagher is urgent and ready for his forever family. 🐾💙 PLEASE TEXT KAREN 4136298152

Story
Olive, 2 years old, spayed female, Husky mix, 38 pounds. She is in a foster home in Houston, Texas. Like so many of the dogs in our rescue, Olive was at risk of euthanasia at a county shelter in Houston. She was saved with not a lot of time to spare and we are so happy she made it into a foster home so someone has the joy of spending all their days with this girl. Olive is the kind of girl who seems to have gotten the very best qualities all rolled into one beautiful package. She is sweet, affectionate, playful, active, smart, silly, and absolutely stunning. And those eyes? They are impossible to resist. Olive is a fantastic dog companion and has experience playing with dogs of all shapes and sizes through daycare. She has received great feedback from daycare about her social skills, including her ability to appropriately correct another dog when needed and recognize when a dog isn't interested in playing. Olive herself is definitely a playful, active girl, though, and she would love a canine companion who enjoys having fun as much as she does. A dog who is timid or uninterested in active play may find Olive's enthusiasm a little overwhelming at first, so a confident, playful dog would likely be her ideal match. When meeting people, Olive is generally happy and friendly. She has shown no aggression, barking, or growling toward strangers. She can occasionally be a little timid, particularly around some men, but with a gentle approach and a little time, she warms up. Once she trusts you, Olive absolutely loves her people and loves affection. Olive is also wonderfully well-mannered in the home. She is fully potty trained and does very well in her crate. She sleeps in her crate overnight and can comfortably stay crated for about 3–4 hours during the day. She may whine briefly, but overall she settles well. She has also had free roam of the house while supervised and has shown no destructive behavior. She enjoys playing, exploring, or simply relaxing in her favorite spots. On leash, Olive walks well overall. She may pull a little when something exciting catches her attention, but it is manageable, and a little continued leash work would help her become an even better walking partner. Olive hasn't had much direct experience with cats, so her compatibility with cats is unknown. She also hasn't lived with children, although based on her gentle demeanor and the fact that she doesn't tend to jump on people, her foster believes she could do well with children. As always, introductions and supervision would be important. One of Olive's favorite things is being active with her people. She would thrive in a home that enjoys walks, hikes, runs, outdoor adventures, or plenty of playtime. A fenced yard and playful dog would be fantastic, but another dog isn't absolutely required if her family is committed to providing her with enough exercise, enrichment, and companionship. And then there are Olive's adorable quirks. Sometimes when she runs, she does the cutest little silly hop, and it perfectly matches her fun-loving personality. She is affectionate, loves attention and affection, and genuinely enjoys being with her people. In the car, she is an enthusiastic passenger who alternates between sitting nicely and taking on the role of co-pilot. She has no issues with stairs and enjoys toys from time to time. Olive really is a sweet and easy girl who checks so many boxes: house trained, crate trained, great with dogs, affectionate, playful, and ready for an active family. Her ideal home is one where she can be part of the family and have plenty of opportunities to run, play, explore, and love her people. If you're looking for a beautiful, affectionate adventure buddy who would happily join you for walks, hikes, or even a run, Olive just might be your girl. Please note our process starts with an application. If we think you might be a good fit, we will reach out to coordinate a phone interview. This is followed by a video call with the foster home. Virtual home visit, personal and vet reference checks are required to complete the process. Transport is included in our adoption donation. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt? Story
Meet Kira! Kira is a smart 3-year-old Husky mix with plenty of personality. She loves a good butt scratch and will reward you with an adorable little dance when you find just the right spot. She is very interested in her people and soaks up any bonus time she can spend with her shelter humans. Kira also likes having something to do, especially when she gets to use her brain. She enjoys playing tug with her favorite toy and working on enrichment like a peanut butter lick mat. As a Husky, Kira is not afraid to speak her mind! If you’ve ever wanted a dog you can have a conversation with, Kira may be your girl. She would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can have her people all to herself. She may be able to live with cats, as she was not particularly interested in interacting with them beyond an initial sniff. As with any new pet, introductions with resident cats should be slow and closely monitored. Kira is also a nice passenger in the car — she climbs in and out gently and rides quietly! Kira is looking for a home where she can spend plenty of time with her people, have opportunities to keep her mind busy, and, of course, get plenty of butt scratches!Current Weight: 52 lbsAdoption Fee: $250To apply: fcrspca.org/adopt

Story
Meet Prada! This handsome 2-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix is looking for a home that understands that great friendships take a little time. Prada can be a bit reserved when meeting new people, but once you're in his circle, get ready for affection, loyalty, and plenty of fun.Prada's favorite activities include running, playing fetch, and showing off his tug-of-war skills. He likes to play hard and isn't shy about making noise while he does it! His growls and barks during play are all part of his excitement, but they can be a little intimidating if you're unfamiliar with shepherd or husky-type dogs. When it comes to canine friends, Prada prefers calm, respectful dogs. He may invite them to play, but he's not a fan of dogs that rush into his space or play too rough. Prada is searching for an adult-only home (no children under 18) with people who appreciate his sensitive side and active spirit. If you're willing to give him a little time to warm up, Prada just might become your most devoted companion.Current weight: 69 lb Adoption Fee: $250 To Apply: www.fcrspca.org/adopt

🚨💔 URGENT: EZEKIEL NEEDS A HERO NOW 💔🚨 Look into those stunning blue eyes. Ezekiel has no idea that his life is hanging in the balance. This gorgeous, sweet-natured boy is everything people say they want in a dog. He’s affectionate, friendly, dog-friendly, and loves being around people. Despite finding himself in a shelter where time is running out, Ezekiel continues to greet everyone with hope, kindness, and that beautiful husky smile. Every day he waits, wondering why no one has come for him. Ezekiel doesn’t deserve to lose his life simply because the shelter is overcrowded. He deserves long walks, soft beds, belly rubs, and a family who will cherish him forever. Instead, he is facing the terrifying possibility of being euthanized through no fault of his own. Please don’t let this sweet boy become another forgotten shelter statistic. ❤️ Dog Friendly ❤️ Sweet and Social ❤️ Stunning Blue Eyes ❤️ Loves Human Attention ❤️ Desperately Needs a Foster, Rescue, or Adopter A dog like Ezekiel should be spending his days making memories with a family—not waiting for his life to end in a shelter kennel. 📍URGENT – TIME IS RUNNING OUT PLEASE HELP TEXT KAREN 4136298152
