Story
Hi, I’m Copper. I’m about 10 years old, weigh around 65 pounds, and I’m a neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped husky/malamute mix. I’m heartworm negative and doing well overall. I’m a classic husky at heart. I love being outside, enjoy fresh air and space, and I can be a little dramatic in that endearing husky way. I have a friendly personality and a confident presence. I can be a bit dominant at times, but it’s more about having opinions than causing problems. I do well with other dogs, cats, and kids. I’d be happy living with dog friends or as an only dog. My activity level is more medium these days—I still like being outside and moving around, but I’m also very content just hanging out and relaxing. I’m house trained, crate trained, and I do okay on leash. I do have some weakness in my back legs, but it doesn’t seem to slow me down or affect my quality of life. I still enjoy getting around and doing my thing. A fenced yard is a must for me, as spending time outdoors is one of my favorite parts of the day. I’m in my senior era now and looking for a home that appreciates a calmer pace, understands my husky personality, and is happy to let me lounge, observe, and add a little dramatic flair to their life. If you’re looking for an easygoing senior with classic husky charm, I’m ready to find a comfortable place to call home.

Story
Loki is a playful dog, he is good with kids and other animals. I’ve had him since he was a puppy. He is potty trained and past the destructive age of huskies. The reason we are looking to rehome him, is time, we have a baby and we are unable to keep up with his maintenance, he needs to be deshed and brushed and needs to go outside more often. We are looking for someone who has the time and would like to take good care of him. I’m sad to see him go, but he would be better off with someone that has the time to give to him.

7/31/26 Foster UpdateThis beautiful 1-year-old spayed husky mix was found running along Highway 15 in Hartsville. Her owners were located, but sadly, they did not want her back. Now she is ready for a fresh start with a family who will love and protect her. She weighs about 50 pounds, is vaccinated, and is heartworm negative. She is an incredibly sweet girl who has gotten along well with every dog she has met so far. She loves playing with toys and going for car rides. She has not yet been tested with cats or children. This loving girl would make a wonderful companion and is ready for adoption or rescue.

Story
Princess was an owner surrender at Gaston shelter. She came in my cuts and scraps all over. She had severe crate aversion but her temp foster has been working with her and she goes in the crate by herself. Princess doesn't like little kids but loves older ones. Kids that can understand to let princess come to them should be fine, she just doesn't let being bombared. She is dog friendly with dogs her size or bigger. she can be with smaller but needs to be watched. I think that will change overtime the more comfortable she gets.

Story
Hi! My name is Stella, I am a 1 year and 11 month old female, born on August 12, 2024. I was part of an accidental litter. My paw parents need to rehome me because they don’t have enough space for me and all of my siblings anymore. I am a loving, energetic girl that loves cuddling and giving kisses. I do talk, but not a whole lot. I play well with other dogs as I am very social. I love playing in water. I have NEVER lived in a kennel, so please don't put me in one. I am very food motivated. My favorite snacks are blueberries, carrots, and peanut butter.
