Story
Hi, I’m Copper. I’m about 10 years old, weigh around 65 pounds, and I’m a neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped husky/malamute mix. I’m heartworm negative and doing well overall. I’m a classic husky at heart. I love being outside, enjoy fresh air and space, and I can be a little dramatic in that endearing husky way. I have a friendly personality and a confident presence. I can be a bit dominant at times, but it’s more about having opinions than causing problems. I do well with other dogs, cats, and kids. I’d be happy living with dog friends or as an only dog. My activity level is more medium these days—I still like being outside and moving around, but I’m also very content just hanging out and relaxing. I’m house trained, crate trained, and I do okay on leash. I do have some weakness in my back legs, but it doesn’t seem to slow me down or affect my quality of life. I still enjoy getting around and doing my thing. A fenced yard is a must for me, as spending time outdoors is one of my favorite parts of the day. I’m in my senior era now and looking for a home that appreciates a calmer pace, understands my husky personality, and is happy to let me lounge, observe, and add a little dramatic flair to their life. If you’re looking for an easygoing senior with classic husky charm, I’m ready to find a comfortable place to call home.

Story
I may be small now, but I’ve got a big future ahead of me! I will be ready to go home at 10 weeks old, once I’ve had the time I need to grow strong and healthy. Before heading home, I will already have a REQUIRED spay/neuter appointment scheduled at Vass Spay Neuter Clinic. Our rescue completes all puppy spay/neuter procedures as early as 12 weeks old, and this is not optional or negotiable. This helps make sure I stay happy, healthy, and don’t contribute to more unwanted litters which is something really important to everyone helping me get my fresh start. If you think I might be your perfect match, go ahead and apply now so we can be ready when my big day comes! My adoption fee is $300 and is also non-negotiable.

Story
Archie is a stunning 1-year-old purebred Siberian Husky looking for his forever adventure partner. With his striking blue eyes and infectious "husky smile," he’s ready to bring a lot of life to your home! Archie was found abandoned, and after deciding to foster him to avoid full rescues and the potential euthanasia at the shelter, his personality has started to shine. He's learned basic obedience, is fully potty trained, and crate trained (he comes with a crate). He loves cuddles and belly rubs, and all the mischief that a classic husky has! -Personality: A total people-lover who is loyal, affectionate, and eager to please. -Playful Spirit: Obsessed with his favorite red ball (which he’ll bring with him to his new home!). -Training Potential: Smart and motivated to learn; he thrives with structure and direction. -Ideal Home: He needs a secure fenced in yard where he can safely play and explore. -Status: Currently not neutered. Up to date on shots and on Simparica Trio.

Story
Bonzo is very energetic and can be very talkative. He rather be out in a wide open space where he can run and walk around. Likes walks, he likes to start off being dominant (more overly excited to go) within the beginning of the walks and then he’ll settle down. He has two different color eyes that draws the attention of others.

Story
Princess was an owner surrender at Gaston shelter. She came in my cuts and scraps all over. She had severe crate aversion but her temp foster has been working with her and she goes in the crate by herself. Princess doesn't like little kids but loves older ones. Kids that can understand to let princess come to them should be fine, she just doesn't let being bombared. She is dog friendly with dogs her size or bigger. she can be with smaller but needs to be watched. I think that will change overtime the more comfortable she gets.
