Story
(DOB 2/2/2023). Due to Chubs’ young age, he has not yet been neutered. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1 hour drive time of Wake Forest NC).   Meet Chubs, the adorable and charming 3-month-old white male husky puppy with a sparkling personality that will win your heart in seconds. His stunning white fur is complemented by a golden brown hue dusting his back, making him truly unique and eye-catching.   Chubs is a ball of energy and loves nothing more than roughhousing with his siblings, showing off his playful side. He's also a little love bug who enjoys nothing more than cuddling up to humans and giving lots of puppy kisses. With Chubs around, there's never a dull moment - get ready for lots of puppy breath and unconditional luv.   Chubs is going to need a family who's ready to be by his side most of the time - he's looking for a family who works from home or has a flexible schedule, so he never has to spend too much time alone. He also needs a furry companion to share his adventures with, so a home with another dog is the home for him   He's a fast learner and already knows how to sit and is crate trained. Chubs enjoys learning new things, so the more you teach him, the more fun he'll have. To ensure he remains happy and healthy, he needs lots of playtime and exercise, preferably in a fenced yard. If a fenced yard isn't possible, his new family must be ready to keep him busy with scheduled positive reinforcement training and plenty of leash walks.    Chubs is a fantastic addition to any family searching for a furry friend who is full of life and bound to bring endless joy and laughter into their lives.   As part of Chubs’ $325 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.  If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email  Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Chubs, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##1667416##

Story
(DOB 2/2/2023). Due to Bear’s young age, he has not yet been neutered. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1 hour drive time of Wake Forest NC).   Meet Bear, a charming 3-month-old white male husky puppy who is looking for a forever home. He looks like a miniature polar bear with his beautiful, pure white coat and bright brown eyes, and he’s full of energy and loves to play until he drops. He is happy and engaging, and his tail wags endlessly with excitement whenever he meets new people. When he is happy and excited, he has the biggest, brightest smile and his soft pink tongue is ready to give you kisses.    Bear is a social butterfly and loves the company of other dogs. He is looking for a home with a furry canine sibling to play with and share his adventures with. If you have a tall fenced yard, Bear will be in heaven! He loves to explore and run around all day, so a secure area for him to play and be active is a must. Once he's worn out, he's really out. He  always sleeps on his back, with his feet straight up (has since he was born); it's pretty freaking cute.   Bear is still a puppy, so he will need plenty of love, patience, and training. But, in return, you will have an energetic and loving companion who will be loyal to you for life. If you're a family looking for a new furry addition to your home, go ahead and fill out an application to adopt Bear. He's eagerly waiting to meet his new family and start his new life with them!   As part of Bear’s $325 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
George is an amazing dog  He is full trained and super goofy. More than anything, he loves to play fetch -  literally his favorite things besides sitting on the couch watching a movie! George is kennel trained and does well free roam as well with no issues!  can be around dogs and cats! While he gets along with most dogs he meets, he will do better in a home where the other dogs understands he is the top dog! Other dogs in the home should be on the more submissive or on the indifferent side. George would also do well being the only child where he gets all the attention and play. George is very smart and likes to stay busy, so an active home would be ideal for him. Apply to meet him pipsrescue.org/adopt ##1667983##

Story
PROFILE Ghost is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet and will surely steal your heart! He is laid back and very well mannered. We are looking for an adult-only home with a large fenced yard that is at least 6 feet tall where he can run and play.* Ghost adores going for long walks, so we're also looking for an adopter who is active. He does well with other dogs, but he would likely be fine as an only dog. He loves to go for car rides on adventures! Ghost will not jump up on you. He takes treats very gently and likes to eat while lying down. Ghost is great on a leash, is house-trained and crate-trained, and will go in the crate upon request and sleeps overnight there without a sound. * Ghost is a Husky mix, and Huskies are known escape artists. So although we don't know if Ghost would dig out, he would need to be attended while in a fenced yard. This gorgeous dog will surely makes some lucky family a wonderful, loving companion! PHYSICAL Ghost is white with golden highlights on his ears, neck and down his back. His fluffy white tail often curls over his back. HEALTH Ghost is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped. HISTORY Ghost had been missing for over 3 months. He traveled many miles during that time, then thankfully he was finally caught. However, Ghost's family decided they did not want him back; and he was taken to a rural county animal shelter.
