Story
Smoldering looks right? Totally Vogue? Well who is ready to meet this beauty of a gal who is ALL husky and all gorgeous??Aubrey is an adult who weighs 45 lbs now, some of which is certainly her fabulous hair. Aubrey is a husky through and through. She is smart, active, independent and needs furever people who know about her breed and what makes her feel most fulfilled. Aubrey will do best in an active home that provides a lot of physical and mental stimulation. She seems to primarily prefer the company of humans and would likely be best and your one and only dog but promises to provide all you need to be happy. She is a bit of an old soul and therefore would likely do best without very young children in the home as mature activities are more her thing. Aubrey promises to bring her mane of beauty and all of the bells and whistles of a best friend to your life.

Story
Life with this handsome gent...you can pretty much bet on it being fabulous! Gilligan is a Husky mix, on the smaller side at 50 lbs but not with any less fabulous hair than one would expect. This guy soft and white as the driven snow and a character who loves exercise, interactions with volunteers and anything you got going on for the day. Gilligan would love an active family and folks who understand his breed mix and what would make him happiest. Gilligan would do best in a home with older teens if there are any. He does well with other dogs and could share a home easily with one as well as be your one and only. Crate trained and with a good sense of where to use the potty, Gilligan is a smarty pants for sure. He loves hiking with the SG hike team and is really just a social butterfly. He is fully ready to venture out onto the greatest adventure with you! **Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "I hiked with Gilligan. He was a good walker that liked to be closer to the front of the pack. He was good with all of the dogs and people. He was very happy go lucky. He smiled the whole time. He loved treats and knows the command sit. He immediately gave me a hug and is very affectionate. He did not tire and was precious". **Additional Hiker feedback: "He would do really well with an active family that could walk or run him daily. I wish I could take him home with me, he is super affectionate and definitely enjoyed attention from the other hikers"!

Story
Petey This beautiful boy is the quintessential old-fashioned dog Petey. I have been fostering Petey for a year and completely in love. Too many other fosters to give him the attention he craves and deserves. He loves children and to be active and quiet time with close cuddling. He is good with other friendly dogs. He is E collar trained. He is about 80 pounds with powerful play energy with other dogs. He sleeps on a couch or in bed or just about anywhere - will go in a crate, but prefers not. He is not destructive. Petey is playful and trainable. The first year of his life was neglect being left outside tied to a tire.Despite this, his good nature has persevered. This sweet boy deserves the best in life and would do well in any home. He is on a foster to adopt basis. If it is not a fit immediately or at any time in the future, he must only be returned to me. He is sponsored. Come and meet him! He really is the best.

Story
Courtesy Listing- Koda is a gorgeous purebred Husky who has just turned 9 years old and weighs about 55 pounds. He is a neutered male with the sweetest, gentlest soul. Unlike many younger Huskies, Koda has grown into a more relaxed, easygoing companion. He’s past the high-energy phase and would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a calm, chill dog who still has that classic Husky charm. Koda is truly a friend to everyone — he is: • Great with other dogs • Good with cats • Wonderful with kids • Loving and gentle with adults He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be near his people and enjoy a peaceful, comfortable home. Koda is looking for a new family through no fault of his own. Sadly, his owner passed away, and now this sweet boy needs a second chance at love and stability. If you’re looking for a loyal, mellow Husky who will fit right into your home and heart, Koda may be your perfect match. Apply to adopt Koda today and give this deserving boy the loving home he’s been waiting for.

Story
Hope, our dog, was adopted from my son's friend's home when she was about three months old. She's now two years and five months old. She's always sociable, obedient, and gentle in any situation. We don't have enough time for all of our family members to care for her, so we thought it would be best for her to be placed with a more loving family.

Story
Ghost is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet and will surely steal your heart! Laid back and very well-mannered, he enjoys an active lifestyle, with daily long walks of several miles and plenty of time to sniff out the latest smells. While walking, Ghost doesn’t pull, but he is a big, strong boy, so he does need a strong and experienced handler. Although he is gentle and likes children, Ghost would be best living with adults. He may prefer to be an only dog, but he is drawn to gentle female dogs and may live happily with another dog. Huskies are an inquisitive and active breed who like to roam. So Ghost needs a large yard with at least a 6-foot privacy fence and an adopter who will enjoy spending time hanging with him and playing fun games to help keep him entertained and contained. Great in the car, he is always up for a fun ride. And a treat! He takes treats gently and will not jump up on you. Ghost's accomplishments are many. He is great on a leash, is house-trained and crate-trained, and will go into the crate upon request and sleeps overnight there without a sound. He has his silly, zoomy moments, like when chasing after his favorite toy he runs around the room. This gorgeous dog will surely make some lucky family a wonderful, loving companion! HEALTH Ghost is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered. HISTORY Ghost was found after being lost for 3 months. His owners were located and contacted but did not want him back. Luckily, one of IAR's fosters intervened and brought him into the program! PHYSICAL Ghost is white with golden highlights on his ears, neck and down his back. His fluffy white tail often curls over his back.
