Ghost is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet and will surely steal your heart! Laid back and very well-mannered, he enjoys an active lifestyle, with daily long walks of several miles and plenty of time to sniff out the latest smells. While walking, Ghost doesn’t pull, but he is a big, strong boy, so he does need a strong and experienced handler. Although he is gentle and likes children, Ghost would be best living with adults. He may prefer to be an only dog, but he is drawn to gentle female dogs and may live happily with another dog. Huskies are an inquisitive and active breed who like to roam. So Ghost needs a large yard with at least a 6-foot privacy fence and an adopter who will enjoy spending time hanging with him and playing fun games to help keep him entertained and contained. Great in the car, he is always up for a fun ride. And a treat! He takes treats gently and will not jump up on you. Ghost's accomplishments are many. He is great on a leash, is house-trained and crate-trained, and will go into the crate upon request and sleeps overnight there without a sound. He has his silly, zoomy moments, like when chasing after his favorite toy he runs around the room. This gorgeous dog will surely make some lucky family a wonderful, loving companion! HEALTH Ghost is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered. HISTORY Ghost was found after being lost for 3 months. His owners were located and contacted but did not want him back. Luckily, one of IAR's fosters intervened and brought him into the program! PHYSICAL Ghost is white with golden highlights on his ears, neck and down his back. His fluffy white tail often curls over his back.

Meet the Star Litter These husky-mix puppies are healthy, happy, and officially ready to start shining. They are up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, growing like weeds, and very much in their full puppy era. Curious? Absolutely. Active? You bet. Shy? Not even a little. This crew is bold, playful, and already showing those classic husky traits — expressive faces, big personalities, and just enough sass to keep life interesting. Some have stunning blue eyes, some have one blue and one brown, and all of them are ridiculously good-looking. Basically, they understood the assignment. They turn six weeks old on the 21st, and we will begin accepting applications now as they prepare for adoption through Perfectly Imperfect Pups.
