Why Rehoming: We took her in to help her stabilize after a very difficult start. While she has made progress, she would thrive best in a more experienced, low-pressure home. About Her: Sweet husky girl who is not aggressive and very submissive. She does great with other dogs and has never shown aggression toward people or animals. She eats and drinks normally and now goes inside and outside independently. She is very shy and prefers the safety of her crate and does not yet approach people on her own. She will need patience and time to continue building confidence. Background: From birth to ~11 months old, she had no human interaction and lived outdoors with about ten other dogs. Additional Info: Up to date on shots, not microchipped. Not yet named. Not fixed. Ideal Home: Calm, dog-savvy home; another friendly dog is a plus.

Story
I’m looking for a loving home for my 3-year-old dog. He’s German-command trained, energetic, and full of personality. He loves his owner, enjoys eating, and isn’t shy about being vocal. He thrives on attention and would do best with a big, active family who can give him the time and love he deserves. I’m in the military and single, so I can’t provide the full attention he needs right now.

As unique as he is handsome. Oakland loves to hug and boy does he love to run! Oakland would do best in a home with a large fenced in yard or with a family that loves to explore the outdoors. He loves kids! Oakland would do well in a single dog household or home with cats!

Story
This is Kirby. He’s is 4 (5 on oct 19). He is up to date and on heartworm preventative. He would do best as the only pet (he has some issues with his current siblings). He likes older kids! He is a big baby and loves to cuddle. He’s the best dog to hug ever. He does have some unspecified pain issues. (Current owner has meds but unable to afford sedation and X-rays). **Kirby is not at CCHS. If you are interested in learning more or adopting Kirby please email cchsshelter@yahoo.com. We will get you in contact with the owner**

Story
My son Caleb that is 21 years old is having to surrender Zeus because his schedule has become too busy to provide him with the consistent care and attention he needs and deserves. Unfortunately, he is no longer able to manage his daily needs properly, especially considering his medical condition. Zeus has a history of seizures and is on daily medication and requires routine medical appointments that I am not able to afford. This decision is incredibly difficult, but it is being made with his best interests in mind, in hopes that he can be placed in an environment better suited to support his health and well-being.

Story
Hello! This is my dog, Timber. Timber is an Alaskan Malamute. He loves people and is a very gentle giant. We found Timber because of a call from this gentleman that gives Alaskan Malamutes to veterans of the armed services, and we decided to adopt Timber. He has been the best dog ever, but unfortunately, my husband's and my schedules have been busier than before, and we can't keep him with us. It is very sad to me to have to rehome him because he is like family to me, but I prefer for him to go to a home that has the time and space for him instead of him being alone all the time.
