New bio as of 3/12/26: Snoop is needing to find a new home. His adopters jumped the gun on getting a puppy and now that he’s bigger and has more energy, they can’t handle it and “don’t like him at all” anymore. He is a handsome lovely husky mix that just wants a family to love him and take him on adventures. Knows basic commands, house trained and neutered. We are so full at the shelter or we would take him back in a heart beat. Please help us find Snoop a new loving home. Carder was brought into the shelter on 11/3/2024. He was given to someone in a Walmart parking lot, and she brought him home. She didn't need another dog, so she brought him to us. He is believed to be a husky mix of some kind. 8 weeks old and had his first vaccination. He is very sweet and a playful little thing. Would love to find a forever home soon as he is all by himself and lonely. Adoption fee is $100

Born November 12, 2023, Raven is a spayed husky mix who's ready to bring energy, joy, and a little sass into your life! She’s up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and Lyme-negative and weighs 43 pounds—healthy and ready for her next adventure. Raven is full of life and loves to play, especially with toys and a good game of tug. She’s definitely on the hyper side (as young husky mixes often are), but her sweetness and eagerness to connect shine through. She can be a little cautious at first, but she settled in quickly at the shelter and has been charming everyone since. She has the most vivid eye, one brown and one blue.  You can see her intelligence when looking into her eyes.  She has a majestic, fluffy coat that gives her the air of regality. She would love someone to pamper her! She does well with adults, older kids, and larger dogs—but she’s not a fan of cats or small dogs. True to her breed, she’s curious and alert, but we’ve only heard her signature husky bark a couple of times so far. With her striking looks, playful spirit, and loyal heart, Raven is looking for a home that understands her energy and can offer the structure and space she needs to thrive. She’s the kind of dog who will pick her person—and once she does, it’s a bond for life. Story
Max is a 9-year-old husky that has been in the loving care of one family his entire life. Max loves to be outside, so much that he almost never comes in. He has lived on an acre and a half property with a shock collar his whole life. He loves his yard, and to just sit and watch the world. However, Max has an inner wolf-like spirit. He likes to hunt, and from time to time would escape the yard to find his next prey. As he is getting older, this is becoming less & less prevalent. But if the occasional raccoon wanders into the yard - that’s all him. Max needs to go to a family with land/property (preferable fenced in) so that he can continue his nature watching. He also loves to be taken on walks, and loves to swim in ponds. Max is a good, good and loving boy. He is picky with other dogs. He had a golden retriever sister his entire life until recently when she passed, and now he has a 1 year old brother golden retriever that we raised since a puppy. He is not good with small dogs.
