Story
Remus is a total goofball with a big personality and an even bigger sense of humor. He’s always looking for fun and brings classic husky drama to everything he does. Despite his antics, Remus is a genuinely good, well-behaved dog who just needs some guidance as he continues learning. He does wonderfully with other dogs, handles public outings like a champ, and is always ready for whatever the day brings. Remus' best fit: Remus will thrive in an active home that enjoys a silly, expressive dog with plenty of energy. We are still learning his favorite games and routines, so a family willing to help him explore, train, and grow will be a perfect match. With structure, patience, and lots of fun, Remus is sure to become a joyful and entertaining companion.

Story
Fitz is a goofy, playful boy who loves tug-of-war and going on long, sniffy walks. In foster care, he’s been working on basic skills like leash walking and recall, and he’s doing great! Fitz can be a bit timid with strangers in the home, but with proper introductions, he warms up quickly. He settles beautifully in his crate and is motivated by both food and toys. Fitz thrives in a multi-dog household and would be a wonderful addition to the right family. The best kind of home for Fitz: Fitz will do best in an adult-only home, as young children can make him nervous. He would love to have canine companions and truly shines when he has dog friends around. He also does very well with cats. To help him transition smoothly, Fitz’s adopters will receive free training sessions from Mountain Mutts LLC, where they’ll learn his favorite games and how to make daily life fun and rewarding. Fitz is an easy-going pup with so much love to give, and he’s ready to find his perfect fit.

Story
Ice is a young husky mix with all the curiosity, energy, and drive you would expect from a growing pup. He loves to play, especially with toys, and does well around other animals. Ice is at his best when his days include movement, enrichment, and clear expectations. He’s a dog who needs direction and benefits from structure. When his physical and mental needs are met, Ice can focus, engage, and enjoy his world more comfortably. Ice’s best fit: Ice was recently returned after developing resource guarding behaviors and has a bite history. Because of this, we cannot place him in a home with children. His future home will need to be adult-only and committed to providing consistent outlets for his energy along with professional behavioral support. Ice will do best with an experienced adopter who understands his history and is prepared to invest time, training, and guidance to help him develop safer coping skills. This is not a casual adoption, but with the right structure and support, Ice has the potential to grow into a more balanced and secure companion.
