Fitz is a goofy, playful boy who loves tug-of-war and going on long, sniffy walks. In foster care, he’s been working on basic skills like leash walking and recall, and he’s doing great! Fitz can be a bit timid with strangers in the home, but with proper introductions, he warms up quickly. He settles beautifully in his crate and is motivated by both food and toys. Fitz thrives in a multi-dog household and would be a wonderful addition to the right family. The best kind of home for Fitz: Fitz will do best in an adult-only home, as young children can make him nervous. He would love to have canine companions and truly shines when he has dog friends around. He also does very well with cats. To help him transition smoothly, Fitz’s adopters will receive free training sessions from Mountain Mutts LLC, where they’ll learn his favorite games and how to make daily life fun and rewarding.
