Story
Tika is a very affectionate and playful husky who always has a smile. She loves being in the same room as people and will happily carry her toys around while you're up and about to always be in the vicinity. Her demeanor is calmer than most huskies and she tends to tire after her walk and want to lay down, ideally with or near her people. Her favourite toy is a Kong with treats or frozen peanut butter, which she is delighted to bounce and carry around the house for hours. She would do best in a household where she can get a lot of daily exercise and there is almost always someone around, as she is prone to anxiety when left entirely alone (though she is totally fine with dog sitters). She also need to be a solo pet as she is both very jealous of other animals getting attention and and prone to playing too rough with others. Please note: Huskies are high maintenance dogs, she needs a lot of exercise/stimulation and attention.

Story
Hi, I'm Champ!  As you can see from my photos, I'm a pretty handsome guy with a great smile. In typical husky fashion, I have a LOT of energy and would love to be your hiking, running or swimming buddy. I even have a number of tricks to keep you entertained! I look up to the great Houdini and have been known to make great escapes of my own. All of my furriends are impressed when they hear about the times I've jumped over fences and broke through crates! The PDA handlers describe me as goofy, loving, loyal and sweet. DOB: 2021 Approx 70lbs Breed: Husky mix, approx 90lbs

Story
Athena has spent her life on the streets before coming into our care. She’s still adjusting to this new world, and we’re slowly getting to know her. Athena is shy at first, but there’s a softness in her eyes that tells us she’s ready to learn what love and safety feel like. She’s dog-friendly and taking everything one careful step at a time. This beautiful girl is looking for a calm, patient home where she can settle in, build trust, and finally know what it means to belong. Meet Tuksa, a 3-4 year old, a spirited adventurer hailing from the rugged lands of Nunavut. Her boundless energy makes her the perfect companion for an active lifestyle filled with hikes, runs, and outdoor play. Tuksa's sharp mind and herding instincts make her a fast learner, excelling at puzzles and learning new tricks faster than you can say 'fetch.' Though she has a strong prey drive and may get anxious when left alone, her loyalty and bravery are unmatched. Having spent most of her life in a rescue or foster home, she’s eager to find her forever family. Tuksa’s playful spirit turns every moment into an adventure, and her curiosity ensures that each day brings new exploration. Yet, she’s also independent and content with her own company when needed. Adopting Tuksa means gaining not just a pet, but a loyal friend, a brave protector, and an independent explorer who will enrich your life in countless ways.
