Story
Meet Dixie 🐾❤️ Dixie is an almost 6-year-old sweet and gentle girl who is looking for a loving forever home. She can be a little shy at first and may need some time to feel comfortable and build trust with new people. Once she gets to know you, she is a very sweet, affectionate, and wonderful companion. Dixie is not aggressive and is generally calm and easygoing. She enjoys having some quiet time to herself and is happiest in a peaceful environment where she can relax at her own pace. We are looking for a patient and loving family who can make a long-term commitment to Dixie and give her the time, attention, and affection she deserves. A home where someone can spend plenty of time with her would be ideal. Her future family should also be willing to take her for regular walks and maintain a consistent outdoor potty routine. She does well with outdoor bathroom breaks and would benefit from a home where she can continue this routine.

Story
Tanis Fostered in: North Bay, On Adoption Fee: $700 Vaccinated, Spayed & Microchipped Great with dogs & kids (any age) Cats are hit or miss (dog savvy cat should be ok) 4yr old Northern Mix I come with 30 days of free Pet Insurance Tanis is a truly one-of-a-kind girl with a personality that's sure to make you smile. She's calm, gentle, incredibly affectionate, and just the right amount of mischievous (we're sure she'll keep you on your toes!) One of Tanis' greatest loves is children. She absolutely adores them and is happiest when she's part of the family. She also enjoys watching the household cats throughout the day. While she may give chase from time to time, she's learning appropriate boundaries and does wonderfully with confident, dog-savvy cats, often choosing to settle down beside them instead. Tanis is a dream to walk. She has beautiful leash manners and rarely pulls, making strolls together enjoyable and relaxing. She's also fantastic in the car and is always excited to join you on an adventure. In the home, Tanis is house-trained and settles beautifully. When left alone, she's content relaxing in a bedroom and has proven to be trustworthy. She's happy to live with another dog but is more interested in peacefully coexisting than playing, so she'd also be perfectly happy as your one and only companion. This sweet girl has such a loving heart. She'll gently give little kisses and happily tuck her head into you for hugs, soaking up all the affection she can get 🫶🏼 Tanis does have a unique appetite and prefers home-cooked meals over traditional dog food, but seeing her happy and healthy is well worth the extra effort.

Story
Crüe Fostered in: Scarborough, On Adoption fee: $700 Vaccinated, neutered & microchipped Great with dogs (male & female) Not cat tested No kids (teenagers and up) I come with 30 days of free pet insurance Hi, I’m Crüe! I am a 2-year-old siberian husky, and I’m excited to be your new best friend! I am a very social boy who adores both dogs and people. I enjoy meeting new friends and get along very well with other dogs. I love to wrestle with my foster siblings and absolutely adore fetch! I am playful and have lots and lots of energy to burn, so I would do best in an active household 🏃🏼‍♀️👟 I know a few commands such as “sit”, “come”, and “off”. I am very intelligent and am a fast learner, but am also a typical, opinionated husky who decides if and when I want to do something. I can be mouthy or have a bit of an attitude if I am frustrated or want to play, but can be redirected with toys or a firm “no”. I sometimes pull when we first start our walks, but will calm down after a few minutes. I need a confident handler who will be patient with my training and dedicated to building a strong relationship with me. I can be anxious in some situations and have some specific triggers. I do not like enclosed spaces such as rooms or crates, and will bark, scratch, or paw at closed doors. Lastly, I have moments where I can be mouthy if my collar is grabbed while I am stressed or too worked up. I would do best in a household with someone who is willing to learn my quirks and help me work through stressful moments. I am a good boy who enjoys my freedom and can be left roaming while my fosters are out I will happily distract myself with toys or will nap on the couch when left home alone. Speaking of the couch, that’s where I feel most comfortable! After a long day of exercising and playing, I love nothing more than to cuddle with you and watch tv. After we form a trusting relationship, I will always want to be near to my people. If you believe Crüe checks off all your boxes and you check off his, please apply to adopt him!

Story
Minkin Fostered in Barrie, On Adoption Fee:$700 Vaccinated, Neutered & Microchipped Great with dogs & kids (any age) Not cat tested Approx 8m old HuskyX I come with 30 days of free Pet Insurance Minkin is one of the dogs from our collaborative pull from Kashewhan! Minkin is a happy-go-lucky husky with a heart as big as his personality! This sweet boy absolutely adores people and children and is happiest when he's by your side. Whether he's curling up at your feet or relaxing beside you, he just loves being part of the family Like any true husky, Minkin has plenty to say! He is vocal & talkative and likes to howl and chat while he's playing, spots people or dogs outside, or for a few minutes after being settled in his crate. His expressive personality is all part of his charm, and he does calm after he is settled down He is currently fostered with three female dogs and is great with them! Mr. Minkin enjoys canine company and is always eager to greet other dogs on his walks. He walks nicely on leash with only a little pulling and continues to improve every day. He is making fantastic progress with house training, accidents becoming fewer and farther between (he's still new at this, well cut him some slack) Minkin is incredibly eager to please and responds very well to gentle corrections. He's also proven to be trustworthy when left uncrated in the home, as he's completely non-destructive. If you're looking for a loving, playful, loyal companion who will keep you smiling with his goofy husky conversations, Mr. Minkin may just be your perfect match. This handsome boy is truly a gem and is ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for. If you want to welcome this well behaved gentlemen into your home, please apply to adopt!
