Story
Hoonah & Kunik Fostered in London, ON Both Spayed & vaccinated & microchipped Adoption fee: To be discussed Both 10 year old retired sled dogs We come with 30 days of free Pet Insurance (each) Double the dogs, double the love… and yes—double the singing Hoonah & Kunik are a bonded pair of sweet, friendly girls who are truly the best of friends. They do everything together and don’t like to be apart, so they’re looking for a forever home where they can stay side by side. These girls are total lovebugs with people—no fear, no aggression, just instant friendship. Kunik is the confident “boss” who keeps things in check, while Hoonah is a little more laid back… unless you wake her up at night—then she has opinions. At home, they’re professional loungers, they love couches, beds, pillows—you name it. They enjoy cuddling with their humans but are also happy relaxing on their own. Backyard time is a work in progress, but they’re getting more comfortable every day (and yes… they do like to dig!). They’re also just starting to discover toys and learning how fun playtime can be. They LOVE their walks and get very excited to go out—Hoonah is already learning to walk nicely, while Kunik is still working on the “no pulling” concept. One good morning walk helps them settle for the day, with an evening walk as a bonus. They also enjoy car rides and are great passengers They’ve met other dogs and have been friendly and playful with everyone so far Hoonah & Kunik are mostly house trained, though they don’t always let you know when they need to go out. They had a few accidents at first but have been doing well recently. They can be a little anxious when left alone, especially in new environments, and may get a bit destructive—so crate time is recommended when you’re away (though they’re still learning to love their crates). They’re also a bit picky with food and prefer kibble with some wet food or a topper—Kunik definitely has the bigger appetite of the two They know their names and basic commands like sit, stay, and down, and their recall is improving every day And of course… their signature move: daily duet sessions, They like to “sing” together a couple times a day. It doesn’t last long, but it’s worth noting—they may not be the best fit for apartment living! If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, slightly goofy duo who will fill your home with love (and a little music), Hoonah & Kunik are ready to meet you!

Jasper Fostered in North Bay, On Vaccinated, Neutered & Microchipped Adoption Fee: $700 Great with dogs, cats & kids 2yr old Husky Mix I come with 30 days of free Pet Insurance Jasper is a big, goofy, lovable gentle giant who is from Moosonee, and he is guaranteed to bring laughter and joy into your home. This sweet boy has a heart just as big as he is and absolutely adores spending time with his people—especially kids. He thrives on companionship and will happily follow you from room to room just to be close. Whether it’s hanging out at home, playing in the yard, or heading out on an adventure, Jasper is happiest right by your side. He loves going for walks and does well on a gentle leader. Like many enthusiastic pups, he has an initial burst of excitement (about 10 minutes worth!), but once he settles in, he walks beautifully and is a pleasure to have out and about. He’s the kind of dog who would enjoy regular outings and exploring the world with his family. Jasper is very eager to please and truly wants to be the best boy he can be 🥹 He’s crate trained and does well when crated, settling in nicely with a toy or two 🧸 He does need a more minimal setup in his crate, as soft bedding like blankets or pillows tend to become his next “project”. With the right structure and guidance, he continues to show just how wonderful and adaptable he is. He’s also quite curious about cats and would love to play with them, so a dog-savvy cat or a home willing to help guide those interactions would be ideal. Jasper’s gentle, playful nature really shines through in everything he does, and he’s always ready to make new friends. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling and fill your home with love, Jasper might just be your perfect match!
