MightyMike is a social, quick-learning 4-month old husky mix who loves people, toys, fumbling over his own feet, and napping. Brought in with his two brothers, MightyMike is great at playing with fellow puppy friends & would make a good younger brother to a home with fellow dogs. He learns exceptionally quick, already mastering the game of fetch, and has been working hard on “sit,” “stay,” “crate,” and “bed”. He’s fairly good on a leash and we have no doubt he’ll be a pro in no time with continued motivation through snacks and praise!He continues to work on his potty training, and does well with a routine, but he is still a puppy and accidents can be expected. He likes sleeping in his crate at night, and settles in quickly, but his favourite spot for an afternoon snooze is his plush bed. Although he’s a husky mix, he is not a huge fan of the cold weather & would much rather be inside curled up with his people in a warm spot. He will go on a winter walk, but encourages you to keep it brief, and is most enthusiastic when home is within sight! MightyMike would make a great adventure buddy, brother, and cuddle partner for anyone looking for a goofy little companion.

Hello! My name is Bentley!Do you love Canadian winters? Are you ecstatic when there is a huge snowfall? Do you love rolling around in the snow making snow-dogs? Meee too! If you love being outside in the snow, I`m your guy! If you don`t, maybe I can enjoy the snow in the yard while you watch and smile from the window. I am sensitive about handling, particularly of my paws. I am looking for humans who will be patient with me and put in some effort to help me feel more comfy with handling so it`s not so stressful. I am strong and do pull on leash so my humans should be comfortable walking a strong doggo. I`m a super friendly guy and will enthusiastically greet new people. MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers may be ok but no young children given I have some handling sensitivities.OTHER DOGS: Yes, a friendly dog who isn’t too exuberant would be fine.CATS: Potentially, I’ve never lived with a cat before but didn’t seem too worked up when I saw one through the window at GHS. If you have a cat, they should have experience living with big dogs and not hiding or running.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has some dog experience or husky knowledge.FENCED-IN YARD: Not necessarily. HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any, though my previous owners found it hard to meet my energy needs in an apartment building and felt having a space to run was helpful to getting my energy out.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily, though I may not be best suited for a home where the humans are gone for a full work day.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium. Hello! My name Echo!I`m a beautiful husky looking for some humans who will enjoy my quirky personality! I can take a few minutes and lots of sniffs to warm up to new people. I prefer when strangers ignore me, or even better, toss tasty treats my way. I came into GHS with a very thick and matted undercoat. After a pro groom where a 10-gallon-bin-worth of fur was removed, I`m feeling SO much better and enjoying pets and touching so much more! I hope my new family will keep my coat feeling good with regular brushing. True to my breed, I am very chatty and I do like to make silly husky noises, so I hope you like singing!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenager may be ok.
