Story
It is with a heavy heart that I am trying to give away this beautiful boy Max. Unfortunately, due to financial and schedule restraints, I cannot give this puppy the amazing life he deserves. If you have a good amount of time on your hands, and kids, this would be the dog for you! He is super friendly, eats like a horse, and is obviously super cute! I’ll throw in his food and toys as well if you’d like!

Story
This handsome Husky mix may look a bit older with his distinguished grey muzzle, but he's likely around 6-7 years old and full of life! Rider's journey to us was a challenging one; he was running loose for over a week near the Dunes ATV rental and Mobile Park by Spinreel, evading many attempts to catch him. Finally, on July 14, 2025, we were able to bring him to safety. When we found him, Rider's paw pads were severely torn, he was dehydrated, and covered in fleas and worms. Despite his ordeal, this boy is incredibly sweet! He's never met a stranger, and he's wonderful with other dogs and kids – he was simply scared. Rider is now healing up nicely and has truly blossomed. He's a "talker" and loves to hold conversations with people he's excited to see. He absolutely enjoys doggy daycare, showing his playful side. He has been vaccinated, given flea medication, and dewormed. Since no owner has come forward by July 20, 2025, Rider is now available for adoption! He is sweet as pumpkin pie and is going to make someone an amazing, loving companion. If you're looking for a sweet, communicative, and friendly dog to add to your family, Rider might be your perfect match!

Story
Tussle was found on 1/15/25 at Highway 99 and Barger Dr. It is unknown at this time if he/she is spayed. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Hello, I`m Xena! I`m almost 2 years old and weigh roughly 56 pounds.** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I love to play with other dogs who match my energy. I might be too much for some dogs. Any future doggie family members should come and meet me before we go home together.Cats? It is unknown how I would do around a cat. With a proper, slow introduction and some training I might be able to live with cats.Kids? I haven`t been around any kids at the shelter but I`m a super friendly dog. It is suspected I would do well with kids big enough I wouldn`t knock over during play. Suggested kids 6+.Anything else you`d like us to know, Xena? I`ve spent a lot of time in a foster home here at the shelter and I do great! I need a little training on some basic manners but overall I would be a fabulous pet for anyone who has time to love and play with me! I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503.
