Story
Luna was found on 5/04/24 at Bertleson Rd & W 1st St. It is unknown if she is spayed at this time. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Hi, I'm Gumbo! I'm a smart, young, and exuberant pup who would love to go on lots of adventures in my new home! I'd love to go hiking, walking and socializing with my people.I'm about 1 year old and weigh 53 pounds.Do you like dogs? I've done well with other dogs here at the shelter. Please bring all dogs in the home with you when you come to meet me! Cats? I have a history of chasing kitties and am looking for a home without them.Kids? I may do okay with kiddos who can handle my size and puppy energy! Please bring any kids in the home to meet.I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I'm looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Hi, I'm Barley! I'm about 1 years old and weigh 57.6 pounds. ** I still need to be spayed/neutered so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I can come on strong at first, but I have enjoyed playing with a few dogs here at the shelter. Please bring any potential doggy siblings to meet me prior to adoption Cats? I have no known history with cats, so I would need slow introductions and lots of supervision at first if I go to a home with one. I may chase them!Kids? Due to my size and energy, I may knock younger kiddos over. I may do alright in a home with kids. (5+)I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.

Story
Here is a heartwarming adoption biography for your female dog, Sakari: Sakari is a young female dog with many endearing qualities. We rescued her from an abusive home at 3 months old and she came to us very scared and very neglected .She is affectionate, loyal, gentle, playful, smart, protective, brave, curious, independent, funny, athletic, dignified, and a couch potato when the time calls for it. She's quiet, but never shy of showing her loved ones affection with sweet doggy kisses once she breaks out of her shell. She is good with other dogs her size and would be a great addition to any family. Sakari does not like cats, as she will chase them. She is a well-rounded dog with many unique personality traits. She is young and has many years of love and companionship to offer to her future family. We hope Sakari finds her forever home filled with love, warmth, and belly scratches very soon! If you are interested in meeting her, please go directly to our website at savingonepawatatimerescue.org to complete an adoption application.

Story
Hi! My name is Eclipse! I was saved from a high kill shelter in Apple Valley, CA. I’m 3 months old, up to date on my vaccines and microchipped! I have big brown eyes and mixed with a smaller breed so my rescue mommy doesn’t think I’ll get very big. I’m very playful, athletic, super sweet and need an active home. I’m potty pad and crate trained too! I love hugs and kisses and I love my squeaker toys. Especially my little ducky! I get along with everyone! If you could be my perfect forever home, please go directly to my rescues website to complete an adoption application for me! savingonepawatatimerescue.org I’m super excited to meet you! Adoption Fee: $250.00Arrival Date: 12/14/23Weight: 33.4 lbsMicrochip ID #941010001825635Meet Winnie The Pooh! Winnie arrived to SafeHaven with his 8 siblings after finding himself faced with the possibility of ending up in a high kill shelter in California. Winnie is a sweet and sensitive boy. He has never known where he belongs in the world and desperately wants to form a connection. There has been so much change in this boy's life that he takes time to warm up and show his true personality. Winnie believes, "A day without a friend is like a pot without a single drop of honey left inside." He would thrive in a home that understands he needs time to adjust to new situations and that all he truly needs is love and friendship. If you are able to open your heart to this beautiful boy he is available for foster- to- adopt so that you both have a little time to adjust to each other before finalizing the adoption.
