Meet the Autumn Bakery Puppies  These four, sweet little survivors were found as strays at an incredibly young age. Given how tiny they were when they were found, we suspect they may have been abandoned. They were too young to eat on their own and needed to be bottle-fed by shelter staff until they were old enough to transition to solid food. Thankfully, those days are behind them! All four puppies are now safe, growing, thriving, and showing just how sweet they are. While we don’t know exactly what breeds make up these adorable pups, we suspect there may be some Lab and Husky in the mix. One thing we do know is that they are likely to grow into medium-to-large-sized dogs. These babies are now at the perfect age to find their families and begin the important journey of training, socialization, and learning how to be confident, well-balanced adult dogs. They’ll need families who are ready for the time, patience, exercise, training, and love that comes with raising a puppy but in return, they have so much love to give! After such a rough start, these four deserve the very best futures. They are safe, they are sweet, and they are ready to find families of their own. Got Slick from Greenhill about two years ago. Was a very all over the place dog. Pulled on the leash. Was nippy and very chaotic over all. Trained a lot of problems out of him. He is able to walk amazing by your side with an e collar on. Otherwise he is very husky like in a rebellious do whatever he wants way. He is an amazing dog and I have had him around deer, rabbits, and cats. All of which he has chased but then sniffs and tries to play with. Now he is a husky so he could possibly have a prey drive activate and I would be weary of that. He is a very loving dog and needs his exercise. He needs a home with a yard and some people or dogs to play with. He plays great with dogs. I have to come to terms with reality and a husky is not a trailer life dog. His needs are not met and that is why I have chosen to get rid of him. I also work over 10 hours a day so he is practically neglected for 18 hours. I’ve put time into him and I really want to see him go toa good home. Thanks for looking!

Indy is a loyal, affectionate, and adventurous dog who forms strong bonds with his people. He loves hikes, car rides, and playing with dog friends at the park. At home, he's calm, trustworthy, never destructive, and happy relaxing on the couch. With his family, Indy is incredibly sweet, snuggly, and loving and he’s great with our free-range ducks. Since we had our baby, he has become more protective of our home and family. Indy has a history of food-related resource guarding toward people and dogs, and his protectiveness has led to increased reactivity toward unfamiliar people. Most recently, he bit someone who tried to pet him while he was resting on his bed. Indy needs an experienced, adult-only home with no cats, where someone understands resource guarding and can provide structure, boundaries, and management. We believe he'll be an amazing companion in the right home. Since shelters won’t take a dog with bite history, if he doesn’t find a home soon we have to euthanize him.
