Zara ..We currently have 5 Huskies in our care , please give one of them a forever home .They truly don’t deserve to be crated in a kennel most of the day ??Zara is Yet another “stray” husky from Scranton. She’s a year old, playful and full of fun. She’s a typical husky with unbridled enthusiasm and curiosity. She’s fine with other dogs but she’s a lot of puppy and may be too much for some dogs who don’t like her like -over enthusiastic nature . We will be happy to test her with any dogs in your current pack! We are sure she will make you smile and we are overflowing with huskies so please give Zara or one of her fluffy friends a chance at a forever family !She will be cat tested.Apply to meet this smiley, blue eyed beauty here : https://www.cognitoforms.com/griffinpondanimalshelter1/griffinpondanimalshelteradoptionapplicationfordogsGriffin Pond Animal Shelter967 Griffin Pond RdSouth Abington Twp Pa 18411Kennel License #2236

Story
Balto is a high energy husky. We do not require a fence for you to adopt from Griffin Pond, it’s a common misconception we frequently hear, but fences are not required to adopt. However,SOME DOGS, for added security safety and the protection of the dog, require fencing as an added layer of caution.Balto is fully recovered from a broken leg but he’s struggling due to the confinement of the kennels. He definitely wants to run , that’s what got him in this predicament in the first place. We are looking for someone who can allow him to burn off his energy both mentally and physically .He’s almost 2 years old and weighs 66 pounds.A fenced in yard would be a good start and husky experience a huge help.Huskys are known escape artists and they need to be kept busy to keep from becoming bored. He’s strong and just wants to keep moving. An active family would be his best fit. Please consider helping this boy heal outside of the kennels . Felicia is so good ??She’s the goofiest girl with the most piercing blue eyes and the best personality! She’s wonderful with other dogs outside of the home ,so much so , that we use her as our go-to dog tester, there’s nobody she doesn’t like !However …. She does not like other dogs in the company of her personal space so we will not be placing her in a home with dogs. She’s 70 pounds of pure fluff !At 7 years old she’s calmed down a bit but she’s still a husky ??We just love her and you will too !Apply to meet Felicia today : https://www.cognitoforms.com/griffinpondanimalshelter1/griffinpondanimalshelteradoptionapplicationfordogsGriffin Pond Animal Shelter967 Griffin Pond RdSouth Abington Twp Pa 18411Kennel License #2236

Story
Loki is the best little girl. We think she is a husky - mini aussie mix. Loki is about a year old and 35 lbs of adorable and sweet. She is good with dogs and kids and we can cat test. Truly just the cutest thing. A must meet, for she will steal your heart for sure. (Better photos coming) LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   July 24, 2026, 1:52 pm

Story
My name is Rex. I am a very handsome 4-year-old Husky mix and weigh 50.6 lbs. My birthday is 10/15/2021. I am UTD on my shots and neutered. I do need to learn how to potty outside but am super smart and with a little help feel I can master that. I have the cutest walk with a slight limp due to me having to have surgery to repair a dislocated elbow and torn ligaments. Sadly, I got hit by a car, but the good news is someone stopped to help me. Huskies are high energy pups who really enjoy the outdoors. They are very intelligent, playful, and smart dogs. If you enjoy going on walks and being outdoors Rex may be the dog for you. Since Rex doesn't like to share his humans, he would need to be the only dog in the home. Even though he doesn't like other dogs he is great and loves people. Please if you are interested in me get your application in today, there is no time to waste: You can go to www.hopeforhannahrescue.org or you can click the link below: The direct link to our application can be found here: https://ueodqi9fe3f.typeform.com/to/sFwghRQN If you have any problems call Suzi (717) 466-5968 and I will be happy to assist you. Personality traits Friendly, Affectionate, Loyal, Smart
