This is Castle. He is a 6 year old, 70 lb Siberian Husky. Enjoys spending time outside or curled up on the couch. He needs a home without another male dog. Does well with female dogs. Also needs an experienced husky owner or someone who has had similar breeds before. Does not do well with small animals, but is good with cats. Needs training on food aggression and better leash training. He is crate trained and obedience collar trained.

Story
Adorable Maggie had a home for 4 years then wound up in rescue. This girl is very sweet, silly and enjoys a game of tug and chase! Maggie has also had 2 weeks of obedience training and did excellent. Maggie walks great on a leash, likes her crate and adores kids ! Maggie does well with other dogs after a few days of decompression and getting used to her surroundings. We all like to settle in right? We've sent in her DNA and are awaiting results.RESULTS: 23% Husky, 18% Pitbull, 14% Chow, 10% Staffordshore, 8% Boxer We are excited to see what breeds this good girl is! After a walk or a round of playing, Maggie is quiet and chill. This fluffy butt can't wait to settle in with you!!:

Snap (along with her siblings Crackle and Pop) came to us off the urgent list due to being shy and nervous in addition to suspected Ringworm positive. Snap remains very timid but is gaining confidence by the day! She is great with other dogs and treat motivated! Snap will require a patient home.

Story
Balto (formerly Reptar) was rescued from a local shelter after finding himself on the euthanasia list through no fault of his own. Balto is smart, strong, and bonds quickly to his person. Balto would prefer a female owner and a home with no other dogs or young children. Balto is quirky and will require an experienced handler. Balto is crate trained, muzzle trained, and walks well on leash. He has been with us since June 21, 2024.

Crackle came to us with her siblings Snap and Pop, all urgent listed due to shy behavior and suspected Ringworm. Crackle has come out of her shell a lot in rescue and is a very sweet and loving girl. She loves other dogs and children and will make a great pet.
