Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
This is a hard call for us. Iris is an amazingly loveable dog. She does deal with esophageal issues and some allergies. Nothing she needs meds for because we eliminated her allergens. No chicken and grain free. Her throat issues are managed and maintained by limiting allergens and her eating with a slow feeder. She needs someone that will not be intimidated by her resource guarding. She does not do well with smaller animals at all, including dogs. She has been harmful to other animals. 95% of the time she is an amazing well trained dog. The 5% we can no longer handle. She is not house destructive unless there is food out. We found her running the streets and barely weighed 30lbs. Our vet at the time said she was around 3 she has been with us 5. She loves cuddles and thinks she weighs 5lbs. She will not shake hands but will sit, wait and laydown for snacks. She loves fresh veggies, naps and hiking. She does sit and wait on cars to go by when walking the neighborhood.

Dumplin is a chill, curious adventurer with a goofy, quirky side! He joyfully greets you with all four paws on the floor and is easy to leash. Dumplin loves exploring the outdoors, nose to the ground, always eager to investigate every new scent. He happily sits for treats and takes them gently, especially if you’ve got cheese or hotdogs! If you’re looking for a sweet, sniff-loving sidekick, Dumplin’s your guy! 🐾 Leash Manners: Start ‘n Stop, No Pull. Walks well on leash; currently does a little hop due to a leg fracture Tricks: Sit Toy Preference: Tennis Ball, Wander and Sniff More Fun Facts: Loves to sniff!
