Story
Hello, my name is Hopper! Don't let my name fool you. I am a very easy going guy. I walk very easily on a leash and am not super clingy. I am happy just hanging out on the couch with my person. Unfortunately, my previous owner didn't take care of me. I am HW positive and I have some health issues related to the heartworms. Unfortunately, the vets don't know how much longer I have to live. It could be two months or two years. All I want is a family of my own and to know what a loving home is before I cross the Rainbow Bridge. My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for? I will also have a free yearly exam and core vaccines for the rest of my life with the Wetness Clinic. If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Story
This handsome dude is Phantom, a 1 year old husky mix with a sad story. Poor sweet Phantom was adopted from a local shelter, and not even 24 hours later was found wandering the streets as a stray. His adopters never even came back for him! We took Phantom to our rescue right away, promising him a forever family of his very own, one that will never abandon him! Phantom is a very sweet, polite, and well behaved boy. He loves snuggles and affection, gets along great with other dogs, and LOVES walks outside with his favorite people! He has a very loving and loyal personality, and would fit in to just about any family. He is eager to please and craves attention from his people. Phantom enjoys other dogs, but needs a proper slow introduction to get to know them well before playing and being friends. He would do best in a home without cats. He is a true gem of a boy who absolutely deserves the world! We promised Phantom that the rest of his life, would be the best of his life. Story
Ninja is a 6 years old, and 90 lbs of love. He's been part of a family since he was a puppy. His dad passed away and his mom wants him to have more attention with people rather than staying out in the yard most of the day. He loves the outdoors but enjoys cuddling with his humans more. He has positive interactions with the dogs on the other side of the fence, but he's never lived with another dog or cat. He has good manners, doesn't jump up on people and barks when he wants you to let him outside. He would make a fantastic companion!Ninja is part of our Ambassador's Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. Pawmetto Lifeline wants every animal to have a chance to find a loving home. If an animal is abandoned or needs to be re-homed, we can assist people by providing medical care, marketing and training if the individual fosters the animal. Please contact us at adoption@pawmettolifeline.org if you would like to meet an Ambassador Animal.
