Story
Hello, my name is Hopper! Don't let my name fool you. I am a very easy going guy. I walk very easily on a leash and am not super clingy. I am happy just hanging out on the couch with my person. Unfortunately, my previous owner didn't take care of me. I am HW positive and I have some health issues related to the heartworms. Unfortunately, the vets don't know how much longer I have to live. It could be two months or two years. All I want is a family of my own and to know what a loving home is before I cross the Rainbow Bridge. My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for? I will also have a free yearly exam and core vaccines for the rest of my life with the Wetness Clinic. If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Story
Meet sweet little Sloan! Sloan came to us as a stray. We estimate that she is about 4 months old. Sloan loves playing with tennis balls and any toys that she can chew on. She loves food and tasty treats. As a true snuggler does, she likes to be covered up with the blanket to get cozy. She is a little bit nervous when she hears loud noises and runs to where she feels safe. She is great with kids and other dogs of all ages. She has spent some time in a foster home where she began working on her household manners and basic commands. As a puppy of her age, she will still need some training, but she will repay you with a lifetime of love! We promised Sloan that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life. Could that be with you? ***APPLY TO ADOPT: finalvictoryrescue.com*** We provide meet-and-greets by appointment with an application on file.

Story
Location: Lexington, SC Name: Macey Age: 3 years Breed: best guess is bull terrier / husky mix - 45 lbs M/F: F Spayed/Neutered/Shots: UTD on rabies, dhpp, heartworm prevention, and is spayed Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: good with kids, fine with cats but had to be introduced very very slowly and I never leave her with them unaccompanied, and good with dogs Aggression or medical issues?: shattered canines that don’t need removal but also leave her vulnerable to defending herself if need be; food protective (with other animals only - never with me even from the beginning) so I feed her separately but again, she physically is unable to do anything about it but no need to create chaos unnecessarily. Reason for rehoming?: found stray with a litter - puppies found a home but she is still looking House/crate trained?: yes - kennel/crate is definitely a safe place to her and she likes to nap there even with the door wide open. Additional info/story (personality): Loves to play with the other dogs, especially the puppies I take in. LOVES a routine and thrives extremely well off of it so much so that she would most likely not thrive well in a home that doesn’t have a set routine that could be established for her (not saying not to take her on trips or anything, she just really likes things done at a certain time every day likes walks, meal time, crate time, etc.). She was living in the woods on her own for awhile and so when I take her for walks she still likes to follow specific paths she thinks are best. Took me awhile to break her out of her shell upon intake, but she is such a good girl now. Loves playing with all the toys, even the stuffed ones, and rarely tears them up. Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Adoption application & contract required to ensure good home.

Story
Oso is a true gentle giant. He has been around other dogs since he was a puppy so he really has never been alone. He is funny and always down for a good cuddle session. Oso is not up for adoption due to behavior issues but for pure housing issues. He has an arthritic leg that he is on daily medicine for but it does not stop him from living his best life every day! He does best with older children as he’s an old man now and can get a little annoyed with too much happening around him. He again does well with other dogs, even small dogs but cats I’m not quite sure about as I’m allergic to them so I’m not sure how he would react. He is crate trained, house trained and he takes his medicine like treats. He has slept on a bed with me his whole life so sleeping on his own bed would be an adjustment for him, like I said he loves a good cuddle session. He will need a home that has a yard or parents willing to walk him regularly. I want a forever last home for him.

Story
Ninja is a 6 years old, and 90 lbs of love. He's been part of a family since he was a puppy. His dad passed away and his mom wants him to have more attention with people rather than staying out in the yard most of the day. He loves the outdoors but enjoys cuddling with his humans more. He has positive interactions with the dogs on the other side of the fence, but he's never lived with another dog or cat. He has good manners, doesn't jump up on people and barks when he wants you to let him outside. He would make a fantastic companion!Ninja is part of our Ambassador's Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. Pawmetto Lifeline wants every animal to have a chance to find a loving home. If an animal is abandoned or needs to be re-homed, we can assist people by providing medical care, marketing and training if the individual fosters the animal. Please contact us at adoption@pawmettolifeline.org if you would like to meet an Ambassador Animal.
