Story
Hi, we`re Eko & Miska, and we`ve been best friends for nine years. We may be a bonded pair, but our personalities are wonderfully different, and together we make the perfect team!I`m Eko, the goofy one who believes there`s no such thing as too many cuddles. My favorite place is right beside my people, soaking up pets and affection. I`m happiest lounging around, getting babied, and reminding everyone what a sweet, loving boy I am.Together, we`re friendly, easygoing Huskies who love meeting new people, including children and other dogs. We enjoy car rides, running, playing, and spending time both indoors and outdoors. For Huskies, we`re actually pretty quiet! We get excited on walks and still need a little help polishing our leash manners, but we already know lots of commands like sit, stay, shake, lay down, and come. Every day we practice our dinner routine—we patiently sit and stay until we`re given the `eat` command. We`re pretty proud of our good manners! We`re still working on a few things, like being fully housetrained and feeling completely comfortable in a crate, but we`re eager to keep learning. We can also be little escape artists, so we`ll need a securely fenced yard and a family who understands that Huskies are clever and curious. Squeaky toys are some of our favorites, although they usually end up without any stuffing before too long! One thing you`ll love about us is how easy we are to care for. We take treats gently, tolerate brushing until we`ve had enough, and are wonderful at the veterinarian—even blood draws and nail trims don`t bother us. Most importantly, we`ve never shown any signs of aggression. We`re simply two sweet, loving, friendly dogs looking for a family to love us as much as we will love them.If you`re looking for double the loyalty, double the fun, and double the love, we`d love to meet you. We can`t wait to start our next adventure together—with you.My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If my bio shows “Spay/Neutered” with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 24 hours after my procedure is completed. If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.o

Story
Hi, I’m Hopper! Don’t let my name fool you—while I might not literally hop, I do bounce with husky energy and enthusiasm for life! I’m a young, spirited boy with that classic husky spark—playful, vocal, and always ready for action. My life hasn’t always been easy. My previous owner didn’t take care of me, and now I’m heartworm positive with some health complications because of it. The truth is, no one knows exactly how much time I have left—maybe a few months, maybe a few years. But what I do know is this: I want to spend every day I have being loved, understood, and cherished.Because I can get overstimulated and easily excited, I need a calm, structured environment with an experienced owner who understands active breeds like me. I’m looking for a home where I can be the only pet—no cats or dogs—and I’d do best in a home without children. I’m not trying to be picky; I just want to set everyone up for success!Once I trust you, though? I’m all in. Loyal, joyful, and full of love to give. I may have a ticking clock, but I’m determined to make the most of every moment—with YOU.If you’ve got a heart big enough for a dog like me, I promise to fill your days with companionship, laughter, and husky-level joy.My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If my bio shows “Spay/Neutered” with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 10 business days after my procedure is completed.I will also have a free yearly exam and core vaccines for the rest of my life with the Wetness Clinic. If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Story
Sky is a talkative, fun playful boy who loves his people. He is dog friendly, does ok on a leash. He is fully vetted and neutered. He did come to the rescue with his buddy but they do not have to go together however he would do best with a doggie buddy to play with. He plays hard and snuggles harder! He is a sweet, playful loving boy and all husky. He deserves a loving husky home.

Story
Misa came to the rescue pregnant and ready to pop after being owner surrendered to a kill shelter. We took her in and helped her raise her pups - it's now Misa's time to find her forever family to love her and take care of her forever. She loves loves loves to run and play. She enjoys attention and being with her family. She is crate trained. We recommend no small kids due to her bounciness and she does resource guard (when she was surrendered she was very malnourished, owners surrendered because they couldn't afford to feed the dogs any more) - we work with her on it but she still is protective of her food and treats (NOT with humans, just other dogs). She walks well on a leash and travels well in a car.

These pups are in Columbia, South Carolina too!

Story
Meet Armin! At 70 pounds, I`m a handsome Chow/Akita mix with an equally big personality! I may look like a tough guy, but I`m still figuring out this whole `meeting new people` thing. Once I get to know you, my fun-loving side really shines. My favorite hobbies include playing with my toys and, to my surprise, discovering that water is AWESOME...especially if there`s a kiddie pool involved. Splash time is the best time!I`m a smart boy, too. I already know `sit` and `down,` and I`m always ready to learn more with a little patience and some tasty treats.A few things to know about me:I haven`t been cat tested yet.Because of my size and enthusiasm, I`d likely do best in a home with older children.I`m still a bit unsure about other dogs, so slow introductions and thoughtful management would be important. If you`re looking for a loyal, playful companion with a big heart, a goofy streak, and a newfound love of pool parties, I just might be your perfect match. Come meet me...you bring the treats, and I`ll bring the personality! My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If my bio shows “Spay/Neutered” with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 10 business days after my procedure is completed. If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday.
