Story
Blue and his sister Sassy came from a situation where they lived outside in a fenced in yard, but didn't have a lot of socialization. Their human passed away and that is why FOCCAS took over care. The two of them started out very shy and wary of everyone. Since being at the rescue, they have learned to trust people. Blue is much more confident than Sassy, but would still need a patient person to continue to build his confidence. He looks forward to walks using a gentle leader, treats, and attention from volunteers. Blue is ready for adventure with a fun family!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
This boy and his brother were dumped in a neighborhood. They are friendly, happy and love people. They do get along with other dogs and like to play! He does talk a little and will need all basic training (we aren’t sure if they have been trained already). Due to breed, routine is necessary and best for him, along with exercise. He is ready to go!September 8, 2025, 1:38 pm

Story
This beautiful girl was born 3/4/26 and we think she is a pyr with maybe some husky mixed in there as well, just a guess! She will be good sized dog when fully grown. We would like her to have a physically fenced yard due to her breeds and prefer children over 8 years old. She is spayed, current on vaccines, preventions and she is microchipped. Does well with other dogs. She is still young so she is still working on potty and leash training. If you think you are the right family or person for Darja, please fill out our adoption application on our website at www.safehaventn.com .  We are happy to set up a meet and greet for the approved application.  Her adoption fee is $300 (if being picked up in TN)  and she is being fostered in middle TN.  Please contact us for out of state adoption information.

Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Samson is a 1.5-year-old Husky, Australian Shepherd, and Poodle mix weighing about 40 pounds. He has a medium-high energy level and is full of playful curiosity. Though he is nervous at first, once he feels safe, Samson becomes a happy, bouncy pup who loves attention and belly rubs. One of his cutest quirks is emptying the toy box; he’ll take out every single toy and play with them all in turn. Samson is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and rides calmly in the car. He is also crate-trained and does well when it’s quiet, though he may let his husky voice be heard if he feels he’s missing out on the action. He enjoys walks, fetch, and playing with other dogs, but may be best as the only dog in the family. Samson has shown mild curiosity around livestock and chickens and has done well on leash around them. We think he would be best in a home with no cats, since he tends to pester them in play. Samson had to be shaved down due to matting and will be looking for a family who will continue his grooming routine. He has made great progress with his initial shyness and is already much more comfortable with new people than when he first arrived. He sometimes shies away from men but continues to improve as he builds trust. With time and patience, his happy, goofy side shines through, and he becomes affectionate, silly, and eager to be part of the family. Samson is ready for a home that can give him both guidance and love, along with plenty of playtime and dog companionship. With the right family, he will grow into a loyal, fun-loving partner who fills the home with energy, joy, and all the toys scattered from his favorite game of emptying the toy box.  Interested in adopting? THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. June 30, 2026, 9:16 pm
