Good with dogs,
Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Icon is a six-month-old Husky / Shepherd / Malinois mix with the most striking blue eyes against a rich brown coat. This puppy looks like he was made for the cover of a magazine! He has an incredibly expressive face and an adorable "awooo" howl that he likes to share with the world, and between the looks and the personality, this boy is the total package. Icon is medium energy, playful, and food motivated, which makes him very trainable. He already knows a reliable sit and follows a lure well, so his future family is going to have a lot of fun teaching him new skills. He does well in his crate, though he can get a little vocal in the mornings or when there is exciting activity happening nearby that he wants to be part of. He rides well in a crate in the car and is still working on his leash manners and housetraining, both of which will come along nicely with some consistency. This sweet boy is a bit shy and reserved with new people and new places, and he tends to take things slow until he feels comfortable. He gets along well with other dogs and is a typical mouthy puppy who loves to play with toys, chew on bones, and enjoy plenty of belly rubs. He would do best with children who are confident, gentle, and not easily knocked down by enthusiastic puppy play. Icon would thrive in a home where he has at least one person or pet to bond closely with, since he likes to keep his pack close and feel like part of the group. A family ready to invest in training and continue building his confidence will be rewarded with a loyal, loving, and absolutely stunning companion. To learn more about Icon, text AARF at 931-260-8018 or visit www.aarf-tn.com today!  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. June 15, 2026, 11:36 am

URGENT FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED BY JUNE 18     URGENT FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED BY JUNE 18       Little Bit is in a 'little bit' of trouble right now and her life itself and where she will live is hanging in the balance.  Her Mom is in the hospital fighting for her life and it doesn't look like she will win.  If she does come out of the hospital she will be permanently disabled and unable to care for even herself, and certainly cannot care for her pretty girl, Little Bit.  Critter Cavalry has been told that by June 19th Little Bit much leave the home where she stays alone and find a place to live or she will absolutely be euthanized.  The family is serious and this is not a bluff.   We need a miracle of a foster home or a forever home or even funds to help in boarding her.  This girl is very adoptable and compatible with a multitude of families or single people.  She is a 50-lb, 3 yr old, mixed-breed that appears to be a mix of Husky/German Shepherd.   She has been spayed, and her vetting updated, microchipped and very healthy.  She is a beautiful spirit inside and out.  We cannot tell you how brokenhearted Little Bit's story has made us. She is on a very short tightrope of time to find a place to go while her devoted mom seems to be slipping away from this earthly life.  Not one ounce of dominance or aggression has ever been shown by her to a human or a dog.  She has never lived with cats or children, but we can only assume that older children will be just fine if they are calm and respectful ....not a loud and rowdy home environment since hers has always been peaceful.  This is an URGENT rehoming request that Critter Cavalry Rescue is helping bring to great attention. All we need is a foster family to step forward while CCR finds a loving forever home. This girl is highly desirable as a family companion or a single person's best friend in life.  She doesn't understand what has happened in her life.  She is lonely and confused staying in the house alone.  We know that there is someone special out there who will step up to help!!!  Please don't hesitate if you feel a whisper in your ear to respond. Time is running out.  Someone out there might be her answer to our prayer to save her.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or email ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Leave a text or a voice message and do email as well.           ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Mamba is a sweet new arrival to the shelter who is looking for a loving foster home while she recovers from surgery. She was recently spayed and had a mass removed, so she is currently wearing an e-collar and needs a calm, comfortable place to rest and heal. Mamba's foster will need to give oral meds, which she takes very well. Despite everything she's been through, she has been a gentle girl who is ready to enjoy the comfort of a home environment. By fostering Mamba, you'll help her recover from surgery while giving her the love and care she deserves as she prepares for her next chapter.
