Story
Stella is around 6 years old from what the vet said. I took Stella in from a family member that was going through hard times and could not keep her anymore. She's house trained, hardly ever barks. She will on occasion talk to you if she needs to go out real bad or is hungry. She's frequently socialized and goes to daycare at pawz n claw so she does well with other dogs. I have two small children and she does great with them. She does need someone with a fenced in yard as she is a runner or someone that has time to walk her on a leash.

Story
Blue and his sister Sassy came from a situation where they lived outside in a fenced in yard, but didn't have a lot of socialization. Their human passed away and that is why FOCCAS took over care. The two of them started out very shy and wary of everyone. Since being at the rescue, they have learned to trust people. Blue is much more confident than Sassy, but would still need a patient person to continue to build his confidence. He looks forward to walks using a gentle leader, treats, and attention from volunteers. Blue is ready for adventure with a fun family!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Blue's adoption fee is $300. If transport is needed, there are additional fees to cover department of agriculture requirements and transport, the additional fee adds $300 to the adoption fee (any location out of Tennessee, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions)Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to Your Browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Lumi is a vibrant young husky mix with a sparkling personality and a heart full of adventure. At just under a year old and 38 pounds, she’s the perfect size to join you on life’s journeys, whether that’s a scenic hike, a playful afternoon in the yard, or a cozy evening relaxing together. Lumi has a wonderful medium energy level, happily running and playing when it’s time for fun, then settling into a calm, peaceful companion when the day winds down. Her playful spirit shines brightest when she has a ball to chase or a dog friend to romp with. Lumi absolutely loves fetch and will proudly bring her favorite toys to share, always ready for the next round of fun. She also has the charming “husky talk” and striking two different eye colors that make her truly unforgettable. Her goofy antics, joyful enthusiasm, and expressive personality bring laughter and warmth wherever she goes. Lumi enjoys car rides, walks beautifully on leash, and bonds deeply with her people. She’s affectionate, loyal, and thrives when included as part of the family. She would do especially well in an active home where she can enjoy regular exercise, outdoor adventures, and continued positive training to help her reach her full potential. Lumi will require close supervision in the yard as true to her Husky nature; she is prone to escape to go explore.  With her intelligence, playful heart, and loving nature, Lumi is ready to become someone’s devoted companion and best friend for years to come.  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. February 28, 2026, 7:35 pm
