Story
Tex’s story is one that’s hard to forget. He was found abandoned on the side of the road in the pouring rain with nothing but a bucket of food and water left beside him. No warm bed, no comforting voice, no family coming back for him… yet through it all, Tex has remained nothing but gentle, loving, and hopeful. Despite being let down by people, this sweet boy still greets the world with kind eyes, a wagging tail, and a heart full of love to give. He leans into affection like he’s been waiting his whole life for someone to finally choose him. Tex gets along well with other dogs and didn’t seem interested in cats, making him an easy companion for many homes. More than anything, he’s searching for a family who will show him what forever truly means — a soft place to sleep, a safe home, and people who will never leave him behind again. After everything he’s been through, Tex deserves his happy ending. Could you be the one to give this beautiful soul the fresh start he’s been waiting for? Story
" Meet Avery A Second Chance Worth Taking Avery's story is one that deserves a happy ending. After being surrendered by her owner, Avery spent months waiting at the shelter, hoping someone would see the wonderful dog she is. As the days turned into weeks and the weeks into months, her time ran out and she found herself placed on the euthanasia list through no fault of her own. Thankfully, rescue stepped in and gave Avery the second chance she so desperately deserved. Now Avery is ready to leave her past behind and find the forever family she's been waiting for. This beautiful girl is full of life, love, and energy. She enjoys playing with other dogs who can keep up with her playful spirit and match her enthusiasm for fun. Whether it's a game of chase in the yard, an adventure by your side, or splashing around in the water, Avery is always ready for a good time. One of her favorite things is cooling off and playing in the water, making her the perfect companion for lake trips, kiddie pools, or backyard sprinkler fun. Don't let her energetic side fool you, Avery is also incredibly sweet and affectionate. She enjoys spending time with her people, walks nicely on a leash, and does well with children. Her happy personality and loving heart make her a wonderful companion for an active family looking for a loyal best friend. Avery survived losing her home, months in a shelter, and being overlooked when she needed someone most. Now all she needs is one person willing to give her the forever home she's been dreaming of. Could you be the happy ending Avery has been waiting for? " Avery weighs 41 pounds

Story
Olive is a sweet and playful girl that we adopted as a puppy during the COVID lockdown. She loves being outdoors and going on hikes/walks, but is also happy to lay around the house and snuggle. When she was about a year old she started having seizures, so she is on two medications to treat her epilepsy which she takes twice a day with her meals. Her epilepsy is well controlled, with no seizures for over a year. We love Olive very much, but with a toddler running around (and not always being gentle) and with another little one on the way, we would be happiest if we could find her another family that would love her just as much.
