Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Thor and his little buddy, Max came to the shelter together due to housing issues of their human. Thor is a laid back husky but very vocal when trying to tell you something. He's housetrained, microchipped, up to date on shots, tested negative for heartworm and on HW preventive. Loves going on walks and is good on a leash. Friendly with people and other dogs.     PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 28, 2023, 6:56 pm

Story
I still need to be house trained. I have accidents inside when I cannot wait to go out. Looking for an exciting and active home. Not too active, but a fenced yard for my occasional zoomies would suffice. I dont love long heated walks but my daily potty breaks and daily long walks are appreciated. Im good with other dogs off leash, when i can sniff and interrogate them freely, aand loudly . I have not gotten in any fights, and my vocal curiosity and excitement tends to unnerve people. I'm a giant snowflake. I'm good with older kids (2+) just because of my size. I'm fine with babies but my tail knocks them over!
