Story
Oxana is a 3-year-old Husky mix with a goofy smile and a playful, loving personality! This sweet girl is full of charm and loves to have fun. She’s housetrained, knows sit, and enjoys showing off her smarts—especially when treats are involved. Oxana can be selective about her canine friends, but she does enjoy playing with other dogs who match her energy and play style. She would do best in a cat-free home, where she can fully relax and be herself. Playful, goofy, and affectionate, Oxana is always ready to make you laugh and join you in whatever the day brings.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Doogan – The Pocket-Sized Husky with a Big Heart! Say hello to Doogan! This short-legged sweetheart might be small in size, but he’s got a huge personality and an even bigger smile. His big, toothy grin might look a little intimidating to strangers — but don’t be fooled! Once you see that happy butt wiggle, you’ll know it’s pure joy. Doogan LOVES people. Belly rubs? Yes, please. Cuddles on the couch? Absolutely. He can be a little “extra” when asking for attention (his paw taps can be strong!), but he’s just trying to make sure you notice how adorable he is. He’s also a pro at playing with toys, rolling in the dirt, and generally being the funniest little dude around. Now, let’s talk about his doggie manners — Doogan wasn’t well-socialized as a puppy, so he sometimes gets uncomfortable around other dogs. He may snap when he’s unsure, and while he’s lived with other pups, it’s stressful for him. Because of that, he’d be happiest as your one-and-only dog. He can warm up to canine friends over time (usually a few months), but his new family should be patient and understanding. On the bright side — Doogan is great with cats and totally ignores them, and he’s gentle with kids too. Doogan might be small, but he’s got a heart full of love and loyalty waiting for the right person. If you’re looking for a quirky, cuddly, one-of-a-kind companion who’ll make you smile every day, Doogan might just be your guy! Story
🐾 Looking for a Loving Home for My Siberian Husky It breaks my heart to write this, but I’m looking for the right forever home for my 8-year-old Siberian Husky. She is a beautiful, intelligent, and affectionate girl who deserves more time, space, and attention than I’m able to give right now. With my work schedule, I’m rarely home, and Huskies need companionship, exercise, and mental stimulation — and she’s not getting what she truly needs here. She is: • 8 years old • Spayed • Friendly and loving • Very smart and curious • Classic Husky personality — independent, playful, and talkative The biggest challenge is that she is an escape artist. She digs and climbs when bored or lonely, which is completely normal Husky behavior but not safe for her where I live. She would thrive in a home with: • A secure fenced yard (preferably reinforced or dig-proof) • Husky or high-energy dog experience • Someone who is home more or able to provide daily walks, runs, or playtime • A family or person wh

Story
Fruit Punch is a sweet, loving girl who adores human companionship and enjoys being the center of attention. She’s affectionate, gentle, and happiest when she’s spending time with her people. Fruit Punch would do best as the only pet in the home, as she needs a space with no cats or dogs where she can fully relax and thrive. In the right home, she’ll make a devoted and loving companion.

Story
Introducing Nikina! Aka Niki. Niki is a truly amazing dog. She was found wet, muddy and abandoned, but would never let that dampen her spirit! She can maintain her bubbly personality throughout anything.  Niki's perfect day would start with getting some cuddles from her people. Then she'd love to take a long walk, or maybe play in a yard with another doggy friend. After that she's fine chilling while you work. And then when you get done....more snuggles! Niki is an absolute love bug and will make the perfect companion for someone who is looking for their next furry family member.  Niki is everything you could ask for in a dog. She is great in the house, perfect in a kennel, knows basic obedience, and walks well on leash. She would do great with an active family that can take her on all sorts of adventures, but she doesn't need to be doing something all the time. She's completely fine with supporting you on those days you just need to take it easy!  Niki is up to date on all of her vaccines, takes her preventive meds like a champ and is spayed and microchipped.  Get in touch with us at arsw@arcticrescue.com to add Niki to your family today!January 19, 2026, 12:13 am
