This short-legged sweetheart might be small in size, but he’s got a huge personality and an even bigger smile. His big, toothy grin might look a little intimidating to strangers — but don’t be fooled! Once you see that happy butt wiggle, you’ll know it’s pure joy. Doogan LOVES people. Belly rubs? Yes, please. Cuddles on the couch? Absolutely. He can be a little “extra” when asking for attention (his paw taps can be strong!), but he’s just trying to make sure you notice how adorable he is. He’s also a pro at playing with toys, rolling in the dirt, and generally being the funniest little dude around. Now, let’s talk about his doggie manners — Doogan wasn’t well-socialized as a puppy, so he sometimes gets uncomfortable around other dogs. He may snap when he’s unsure, and while he’s lived with other pups, it’s stressful for him. Because of that, he’d be happiest as your one-and-only dog. He can warm up to canine friends over time (usually a few months), but his new family should be patient and understanding.
