Story
Meet Ghoat. He’s being fostered in east TN. Out of state welcome for additional fee. We transport to the Greta lakes and northeast areas east areas. We use rescue riders for all our pet transport needs. Ghost had a home but unfortunately his owner could not longer care for him. He’s a really sweet pup. He loves attention and will come rest his head on your lap for petting and ear scratches. He gets along with most all other dogs big and small young or old. He is very playful and has lots of energy. He seems to be a husky mix. He has the curled husky tail and the coat of a medium coated husky but he also looks like he could be mixed with another breed. He’s not very big and only around 45 lbs. he’s a year old so he should not get much bigger. He probably will top out around 50-55 lbs. he is crate trained and house trained and walks well on a leash. He is a just a little shy when meeting new people and it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. He is one smart and sweet pup!

Story
To learn more about Sasha, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org. Sasha will be at one of our adoption events this weekend! Visit our event page (https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/) to see which one—event listings are usually updated on Fridays with attending dogs. Sasha is a young Husky mix with a friendly personality and plenty of youthful enthusiasm! This medium-sized girl loves meeting new people and greets everyone with a happy, wagging tail. She's social, food-motivated, and always excited to make new friends. She enjoys learning—especially when treats are involved—and is already practicing commands like "sit" and "paw.". After burning off some of her puppy energy, Sasha is happy to soak up attention and roll right over for some belly rubs. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion who's ready to grow with you and join on life's adventures, Sasha could be the perfect match!

Story
Meet Sahara! (Almost 2 Years Old) Sahara is a beautiful, floofy girl looking for an experienced owner who understands structure and patience. 🐱 Cats: Sahara does well with cats but can be a bit oblivious to boundaries. She needs confident felines who aren't afraid to stand their ground. If a cat gives her a smack, she’ll usually take the hint and move on. If they like her, she happily lets them play with her fluffy body and tail. 🐶 Dogs: Sahara can co-exist with other dogs, but it takes a minimum of two weeks for her to adjust. Direct, 100% supervision is strictly required at all times during this transition period. 🩺 Vet/Grooming: Sahara does not like the vet or groomers. Because these environments stress her out, a muzzle is strictly required for all professional appointments to keep everyone safe. Ideal Home: A structured environment with a handler experienced in slow pet introductions and proactive medical handling. Confident, dog-savvy cats are a huge plus!
