Story
Peter Brady is the last remaining here of the 6 Brady siblings. 14 lbs. Born early 2023. Red and white. He can be very shy and scared with strangers (especially men), but he likes people, and once comfortable with someone he is ok with being picked up and petted. Treats and playtime are the way to his heart! He will likely need leashtraining. He's done extremely well in our house and is excellent with other dogs. He may do best in a home where he has a confident dog to learn from and play with. He and his siblings came to us from our Tijuana rescue partner. The others, now adopted, were Greg, Marcia, Jan, Bobby, and Cindy. He is neutered and has his shots- he is ready for his new home! You may make an appointment to see him by emailing us at beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com and also sending an application found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under the 'Adopt a dog' tab.*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Please email us for an appointment and include your application (found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under "Forms"). Most appointments will be Friday through Sunday, though other days may also be available. We usually schedule one appointment per hour. Allow 1-2 hours for your appointment. Please look at our website and make a list of one or more dogs that you would like to see. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. I know you're currently saying to yourself, 'this does not look like a Jack Russell mix'! Trust me when I tell you that she is! She just looks more like the boxer in her...like a tiny boxer! Thelma is really a sweet girl once she gets to know you. Earning her trust has been such a satisfying experience and so worth any time that it has taken. She is 8 years old and weighs around 18 pounds. She is a stocky little firecracker, which is one of her best traits but can also get her into trouble with some pups. She can be a bit of a bully to other females so she would do best with a male pup in the home or as an only dog to a human who is home much of the time. She arrived with her sister, Louise, and we thought they were bonded. But now that some time has passed, we realize that though they love each other, they do not rely on each other. Thelma is a quick learner and has done well with initial leash training. She will need to be adopted in the So Cal area and must have a secure backyard. If you are interested in adopting Thelma, please apply here . Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 7, 2025, 7:31 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! Lucy and Ricky are the parents of a litter that we rescued from T.J.  They were recently fixed and arrived to find homes.  Lucy is very submissive and timid.  She wants to please people.  She sticks close to people and is anxious to do whatever they want.  She is kennel trained and follows basic commands well.  She should adjust quickly to a new home.  She was not treated great by young kids in her last home, so she would prefer older and quieter kids.  She would love to be adopted with Ricky.  He follows her everywhere.Adoption fees include up to date on vaccines, treatment for fleas and worms, spay, chip implantation and initial registration.  Adoption application link:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/32026/genericLucy will attend adoption events at the Fontana Petco.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Apply on-line using the link to our application.  Please be sure to use the species specific application for a dog or cat.  Adoption events are held every Sunday, excluding holidays, at the Fontana Petco.  The Fontana Petco is located at the corner of Sierra and Sierra Lakes Parkway, just off the 210 freeway, April 3, 2025, 2:17 am
