Story
Nova is a sweet and affectionate 14-lb Jack Russell / Rat Terrier mix who loves being close to her person. She’s happiest curled up next to someone, going for walks, and having a consistent routine. Nova is fully housebroken, healthy, and up to date on her shots. She would thrive in a calm, adult-only home with no cats and no small children. She can be a little anxious and has shown some guarding behavior in a busy household, so she needs someone patient, gentle, and home often who can give her the attention and stability she loves. Nova has so much love to give and would be an amazing companion for someone looking for a cuddly, loyal little dog to share their days with.

Story
Dillon is my 4-year-old, 45 lb rescue pup who I adopted from the Humane Society when he was 6 months old. He has been my best friend and greatest comfort, and this is the hardest decision I have ever had to make. Due to job relocation, financial instability, and his behavioral needs, I cannot give him the stable home he deserves. Dillon is crate and potty trained, loves tug of war, car rides, and adores being outside, so a fenced yard is a must. He's loving, loyal, and the best snuggler once he trusts you. Dillon struggles with fear-based reactivity toward strangers, so he needs a patient, experienced owner who is home often and can give him time to warm up. He does great with other dogs after slow introductions and would love a canine friend to play with. He's very food motivated, goofy, protective, and full of heart. He truly is the perfect dog in the right, calm home with someone who understands him and will love him unconditionally.

Story
This sweet 6-year-old, 15-pound survivor is finally ready for her forever home! After spending her early years as a street dog in Puerto Rico and raising multiple litters, she’s getting her first real chance to simply be someone’s cherished companion. Despite her rough past and a few physical challenges — she’s missing one eye and has some old injuries to her back legs — she gets around wonderfully. She walks well on a leash, is fully potty trained, and is picking up basic commands quickly (especially when snacks are involved!). You’d never guess she once lived on the streets. She’s taken to indoor life like a natural! Her ideal day includes cozy naps, gentle strolls, and plenty of snuggles. She’s an excellent house companion and loves curling up beside her person for pets and affection. She’s even starting to enjoy toys! Once she feels comfortable, she becomes the sweetest cuddle bug. She does well with both cats and dogs after a proper introduction, and she’s now spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. She’s looking for: An experienced dog owner who understands she’ll need a little time to adjust A calm, loving home where she can feel safe A home with teenage children or older This resilient girl has overcome so much and has endless love to give. Could you be her perfect match? ##2261099##

Story
Baxter is a 6-month-old puppy with a sweet heart and a playful, happy-go-lucky personality. Weighing about 30 pounds, he’s full of charm and endless affection. He loves to play, enjoys his treats, and while he can be a little shy at first, he’s quickly picking up leash manners and basic commands — he’s a smart boy. He’s great with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a wonderful match for many different families. Baxter was found as a stray in Puerto Rico with his three siblings — Maverick, Cash, and Stormi. Despite his tough start, he’s blossomed into a joyful, fun-loving pup who’s ready to bring that happiness to a forever home. One of Baxter’s standout features is his beautiful blue eye, which perfectly matches his gentle, sweet nature. He especially loves to play and would be thrilled to have another doggy friend in his new home. Playful, affectionate, and eager for love, Baxter is ready to find a family who will cherish him forever. ##2514601##

If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com Hi, I’m Milo – 8.5 years young and still living life like it’s one big parade! I’m basically happiness on four paws. If you have a heartbeat (human, kid, or dog), I’m going to greet you like you’re a celebrity on a red carpet. My tail? It never stops. My smile? Always on. My motto? “The more, the merrier!” My Favorite Things About Me: Walkies! – The second my foster mom grabs the leash, I turn into a pogo stick! Bunny hops! – Too much joy = hopping down the hallway like a fluffy kangaroo. Neighborhood Reporter! – I bark to share important news: “HI! IT’S ME! LIFE IS AWESOME!” Social Butterfly! – People, kids, other dogs… everyone gets a Milo welcome. Leash skills: Solid 5/10! (I start out excited, then settle down.) Weather note: In Florida heat, sometimes I need a royal chariot ride back home. Cooler months? Let’s go forever! Indoors: Pretty chill… unless the mailman shows up. (We have a love-hate thing.) Health: My kidney levels are a bit high, but I take my supplement like a champ and feel great! Signature Move: The Milo Dance! A rug + me = cuteness overload. I’m not huge on toys or treats, but I’m BIG on love, walks, rolling on rugs, and making you smile every single day. If you’re looking for a joyful, funny, loyal sidekick with just the right amount of goofy, I’m your guy. Let’s make every walk an adventure, every rug a dance floor, and every day a reason to smile. If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com &#226&#128&#139 Hi, I’m Peach! I just turned 1 yrs old (DOB 09/07/2024) I'm a Virgo, full of energy, and overflowing with love! I’m the kind of girl who greets life (and people!) with tail wags, happy hops (like a bunny), and a big ol’ smile. I grew up with other dogs and would love a furry sibling to play and snuggle with. The more the merrier, right? I adore humans—big and small—and while I can get a little too excited when saying hi, I’m working on my manners. I’m already housebroken (yep, nailed that part!) and I know a few tricks too. I'm pretty smart if I do say so myself. I love to run, zoom, chasing lizards, playing fetch (I go get it but don't bring it back to you) and play, so a fenced backyard would be a dream come true. Once I’ve had my fun, you’ll find me curled up next to you for some cozy couch time. W hether we’re going for walks or you’re carrying me like the princess I am (no shame!), I’m happiest just being with my people.   Think we might be a match? I can’t wait to meet you!   I am up to date on my vaccinations, on flea & HW medication, spayed and microchipped   Peach's adoption fee is $500 -  obedience training is required after adoption and fully enclosed front or backyard is also required.
