Meet Kimber! She is a sweet little girl with a lot of energy, love, and cuddles to give the perfect “fur-ever “family. She loves playing fetch, belly rubs, and all her toys. She is great with other cats and dogs (sm-med). Not sure about big breeds. She is crate trained but will sleep in or under a bed. She would do well in a home with only women. She will play ball/fetch/retrieve/catch mid-air with anyone (male or female). She might be a frisbee dog. Who knows. She has a lot of playful energy but loves a good afternoon nap. Great when given treats with her foster pack. We presume she had an abusive past. Though she will play fetch with men, if a male tries to touch her, she runs, shakes, gets stiff like a scared goat, and/or barks. She could play fetch with the foster’s husband, but as soon as he leaves the room and comes back, she has a meltdown, growls, and barks. She was in her first foster home for 6 months and has been in her new one for a month. In both, she has yet to fully warm up to men. She is ok with women and young females 10 and up. She is great at the vet if she is handled by a woman. Kimber would do best with a Female Veterinary staff too. She is still working on being leashed trained and going outside. She fears the grass but is taking baby steps out to potty.
