This sweet 6-year-old, 15-pound survivor is finally ready for her forever home! After spending her early years as a street dog in Puerto Rico and raising multiple litters, she’s getting her first real chance to simply be someone’s cherished companion. Despite her rough past and a few physical challenges — she’s missing one eye and has some old injuries to her back legs — she gets around wonderfully. She walks well on a leash, is fully potty trained, and is picking up basic commands quickly (especially when snacks are involved!). You’d never guess she once lived on the streets. She’s taken to indoor life like a natural! Her ideal day includes cozy naps, gentle strolls, and plenty of snuggles.
