Meet Lindor! 🧡 This sweet little guy has come such a long way. He was rescued with a group of dogs who were being kept in a metal shed and came to us pretty scared, not knowing what to think about people. But in just one month, he has blossomed more than we ever imagined! Lindor is only 12 lbs and is likely a terrier mix. He LOVES other dogs and has a blast playing with his friends. We originally required another dog in the home for him, but after spending time in one of our trusted foster homes, we think he’ll do just fine with or without a canine sibling. He adores his foster mom and is often found belly-up asking for scratches. When she picks him up and puts him back down, he jumps up asking to be held again ☺️ A fenced yard would still be a big bonus for him since he’s not the best on a leash just yet—but he’s learning and getting braver every day. ☀️ BONUS OFFER: Want to double the love? This little 22 pound 8 yr old jack mix was found as a stray and brought into the shelter.. He has been with us a little over a month and is now doing as well as can be expected.. Rileys heart has been damaged by heartworm disease. He is not a candidate for fast kill treatment, and we are doing slow kill, which is just monthly heartworm prevention. He had a round of pneumonia, which has cleared and that is when we discovered that his heart is compromised. We are currently looking for a forever home for Riley, he is a hospice boy. He is on cardiac meds for his heart, and will be getting a cardiac echo in Feb to determine how damaged his heart is. This is a very sweet boy who asks for nothing . He does love pats on the head, he likes his belly rubbed. He loves to do short walks, lie in the sun. Good with other dogs, great appetite. He is housebroken and barks to go out, however he needs someone home that can let him out frequently as he is on lasix to keep his lungs clear. Riley is a wise old man, life has not been kind to him. He will give you all his love and he appreciates every minute he has left on the planet. If you are that special person that can be there for him and enjoy him please fill out an application. Hi there! My name is Denzel, and I’m a little dog looking for a big love. See I have a heart on my back! Just a few months ago, I was a scared little 2 year old Jack Russell - Chi mix boy – hiding under a car in a shopping center parking lot. I was only 9 pounds of trembling fur, wondering where my world had gone and if anyone would ever find me. Luckily, the wonderful FCCR ladies scooped me up, and I landed in a pawmazing foster home. My tail started wagging again, my signature smile returned, and I discovered I am actually quite the little character! Turns out, being small doesn’t mean having a small personality – I’ve got energy for days and enough charm to win over anyone I meet. These days, I’m living my best life while I wait for my forever family. I’ve become quite the little gentleman. I walk beautifully on a leash, ready for adventures around the neighborhood or trips to the park. And oh, do I love car rides! There’s something magical about watching the world go by from the passenger seat. When I’m not out exploring, you’ll find me mastering the art of tug-of-war with my toy collection. I’m surprisingly strong for such a little guy – must be that Jack Russell determination! But my absolute favorite thing? Snuggling under the covers with my humans. There’s no better feeling than being wrapped up warm and safe, knowing I’m exactly where I belong. I’m proud to say I’m completely crate-trained. I’m also working hard on my housebreaking skills, and everyone says I’m learning incredibly fast. Smart and handsome? I know, I know – I’m quite the catch! The best part about me? I absolutely adore kids and get along wonderfully with other dogs. There’s something about little humans that just makes me light up, and having doggy siblings sounds like the perfect adventure. As for cats… I haven’t met any yet but hey, I’m a friendly guy so we might become friends. What I’m really looking for is a family who will appreciate all of me – my playful puppy energy, my impressive agility skills, my award-winning smile, and yes, even my work-in-progress house manners.
