Despite his age, Waylon is packed with the energy and playful spirit of a much younger dog, ready to bring joy and excitement to his forever home. 🐾 About Waylon: Age: 10 years old (but acts like a 2-year-old!) Breed: Wire-Haired Jack Russell Terrier Energy Level: High—still has that puppy zip and loves adventure. Personality: Feisty, curious, affectionate when he wants to be, and always up for fun. ❤️ Waylon's Favorites: Belly Scratches: He melts for a good belly rub session. Toys, Toys, Toys: Playtime is his favorite time of the day. The Great Outdoors: He adores being outside, especially near water. Sniffari Adventures: Exploring and sniffing out every new scent in his environment is pure bliss for him. 🏡 Ideal Home & Training Needs: Waylon is a work in progress and needs a patient and understanding family committed to helping him thrive. Sandy is house-trained, comes when you call her name, and is wonderfully polite when taking food. Treats don’t really impress her—she’s more about love, comfort, and being near her people. Allows people to use her as a pillow . Sandy can be timid at first, but once she trusts you, she can’t swim. And is scared of kennels.

Sweet momma, Utopia and her five day old pups were one day away from being euthanized in a small south Texas animal control. Momma was scared and protective of her babies for a few days before she realized they were safe. NOW she is THE sweetest and most loving girl!! She is doing good with potty training and is good with dogs and cats. She likes going for drives and walks good on a leash. She's got the cutest little tuft of fur on her head. She's smart and likes to play. Her puppies are cattle dog mix. They are playful and happy. They prefer playing with each other but like their stuffed animals. They are working on pee pad training. They are currently around five pounds, and almost ready for their families!! Mama is likely a long haired/wire haired dachshund and the pups have the low rider qualities with heeler markings- ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!! Any one of these pups or mama Utopia will make an awesome addition to your family... you have to take that first step... FILL OUT THE ADOPTION APPLICATION!! Hurry, this family is ready!!! Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)
