Foster notes, 9/28/23:Benny came to us very skinny at only 9 pounds. He is gaining weight with meals three times a day. Benny is small but mighty and old but still spry! He is mostly potty trained but does have accidents if not taken out often. He knows sit and loves to play with our big dogs who lay down to get to his level. He also does well with our son! He does not like the leash so we have been trying to take a stroll around the house at least once a day. He also does not like the crate but is in it when we leave and at night. We use relaxing music to calm him at night because he does bark for a little bit after we put him in. Benny also knows sit. He is an absolute lovebug and would make a wonderful addition to anyone’s family.

She is a sweet dog who loves to snuggle and play but she just discovered she can clear our backyard fence and we live next to a very busy road. She is going to get hurt and we don't want that. Rosie listens well and is great with kids, dogs, and even cats. She would be perfect for a family with a taller fence or who have lots of property. We love her and want the best family for her.

Peyton came to PAR from an extreme hoarding situation. He has come a long way and is slowly learning how to be part of a family. However, he is still very scared, quite skittish, and very submissive. He selectively plays with other dogs, but is cautious of dogs and people. Peyton will require a very patient adopter and special home to help him be the dog he can be.
