Her ideal home would have a fenced yard to allow her to run and get that exercise in or if no fence, someone who would take her on regular nice long walks She is curious all the time! Trixie loves people and would do great with a doggy friend to play with! It's always best to bring another dog to the meet and greet to be sure it’s a good match! Trixie is a real snuggle-bug who loves napping in your lap AND even slept a couple nights in the bed (like a queen) with Foster Mom and Dad. This precious little brindle girl is considered to be a Jack Russell dachshund mix girl and is always going to be what you call a lowrider dog in her life. She is looking for a home that is active and can take her fun puppy antics all in stride. She is a climber very similar to a little monkey and she loves to explore the great outdoors with her nose. She only moves slow when she's about ready to collapse and take a nap. She snuggles. She gets along with other dogs including a huge 100 lb Golden Retriever. She is a happy girl and did not like her photo session. It made her shy and not looking as confident as she truly is in real life. She is currently 9 lb at 12 weeks of age. We think that she was born somewhere around the middle of June. She will be perfect for a home that has a fenced-in backyard as she is not a fan of the leash yet and does need the ability to be able to run to her heart's desire. She will perhaps learn leash training easier in a harness.
