Hi. I’m Sparrow. I was born into PIP family and had to have a foster mom to bottle feed me. I was super tiny. Now my foster mom says I’m huge at a little over 2.5 lbs. my dog momma was smaller in size @18lbs. I’m learning all about this world. I’ve played in grass now and am finally seeing this world. I sleep through the night. Foster mom is very happy about this. I love to sleep on your chest, play with my toys, love a slide and just learning what the world is all about. My foster mom suggests a family that will love and spoil me cause I have her wrapped around my finger. I had my first set of shots. I’m all around a happy boy. ##1717136##

Milo is a happy, curious, silly, and sweet boy who loves attention, and is sure to make you laugh. He loves to go for walks and hikes. His favorite games are chase-and-tug with a rope toy, and hide-and-seek. Did you say treats? Training time is the best. Milo is very smart. You could train him to do nearly anything. He really enjoys working his brain muscles. Milo is also a giant cuddle bug. He loves nothing more than some tummy rubs and ear scratches, and curling up for a nap with his head on his human's lap. His other favorite past time is an afternoon sunshine nap on the deck, laying completely on his back with his paws in the air. Milo rides well in the car. He is house trained and knows all the basic commands, and then some. He knows to sit and say please (make eye contact) before getting anything he wants. He does not use a crate but is never destructive when left alone in the house. He should be adopted into a home with no other animals. He requires a privacy fenced yard. He loves to be by your side or in your lap at any opportunity. Asher gives the best hugs and is all around a good boy. Asher does great in a car, walks well on a leash, is potty trained, and crate trained however prefers to be loose and will howl to let you know, so apartments would not be a good fit. He can be hesitant with loud noises or sudden movements so a home with older kids or adults only would be ideal. Asher is also recovering from kennel cough so he has not yet met the resident dogs or cat. Introductions with other pets would be necessary. Do you say everyday “‘man, I really want an active dog?”  Do you dream for a dog that can hike with you?  Do you stare over your backyard wishing a little pup was running zoomies?  Do you have an active dog & wish he had a friend? Well meet Trooper.  We think Trooper may be a doxie/jack russell mix, and when you meet him, you’ll see both in there.  Trooper is a puppy, less than a year old.  He is healthy, happy, busy & ready dart into your heart.   The yummy stuff … Tropper is a happy dude.  He will bring all the joy into your home every morning you wake up.  He also lives every moment like his last - jumping head first into the fun stuff.  His personality is infectious.  Trooper’s reality … he is ACTIVE.  Trooper wakes us on the go & when he sleeps, he is dreaming about running the next day.  His energy needs have to be adequately met in his new home.   The details:-Trooper must have an active & playful dog in his new home.  He loves other dogs & they keep him entertained.  And we don’t simply mean another dog - the dog must be active & enjoy Trooper’s zest for life.-Trooper’s potty habits continue to need work.  He is a puppy so it is to be expected.  But plan to commit to that.-Trooper needs an active family.  Active means lots of walks, hiking, running, outdoor activities.  Trooper needs physical exercise & his brain needs to be stimulated.  If you are not interested in factoring a dog’s activity schedule into your daily schedule, Trooper is not your guy. -Daycare might be a great activity for Trooper.  He has started daycare in his foster home & after the first day nerves subsided, he dove right in!  He was able to play while his foster parents went to work, it will sharpen his social skills & he was tired that evening when he got home!  Daycare is a great weekday option to keep him busy & social with friends. -A fenced yard would help Trooper as he could get outside & romp around on his own.  We are not requiring it but if you don’t have a fenced yard, plan to step up your game!-Trooper is doing well in his crate but he can talk so no apartments or condos.  He likes to yap when he is playing.-Trooper does pretty well on a leash.  His foster family is working on walking.  He likes to bark on walks, so his new family will want to continue to redirect that. -Kids … we’ll entertain 5 years old & up.  We know Trooper is kid friendly but we also have seen that he likes to play nibble when he is playing rough.  It is not aggression.  The more active & tired he gets, the less a family will likely see it.  -Training & structure would benefit Trooper.  Because he is young & has the jack russell energy, boundaries & structure will help him be a healthy member of the family.   Trooper is fully vetted, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines & microchipped.  Trooper is fostered in Raleigh & any prospective family will need to travel to meet him.  We do prefer adopters within several hours of Greensboro & Raleigh, NC.   Trooper is a cool dude.  He is funny & happy & busy.  He is ready to fill your life with excitement.    Adoption fee is $350. ##1631867##
