RemyMaleAge: 9-10 yearsWeight: 18 lbsBreed: Jack Russel Terrier                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Hey there, I’m Remy. I am a dapper and spunky gentleman who gets along with other dogs. I haven’t spent much time with cats but find them very interesting when I see them out and about, so I might be tempted to chase them at first. I get along with kids too, but I am scared of loud noise and chaotic situations, so I would do best in a home with older children. I walk very well on a leash and am crate trained as well. Once I am comfortable and adjusted to my new family, I can be left alone out of the crate for short periods of time, but initially, crating me when you leave might be best. I love to go for walks and chase squirrels, cuddle and of course I love all the attention. I also love to eat. I don’t really have much interest in toys, but I do love almost all the food. Overall, I am pretty adaptable and tolerant of most situations. And even though I like everybody that I meet, I seem to bond primarily with one person in my home, so I might do best with a single person or small family. I do fine in my crate, but enjoy going with you whenever I can. One thing to note, I do have a permanent jaw deformity and many of my teeth have needed to be removed. I do have a crown that needs to be checked during my annual vet visits, But, I don’t have any pain or issues with eating. I cannot wait to find my forever family who will provide me all the love I deserve! If you are interested in meeting Remy apply at www.causeforcanines.org Adoption fee: $225 Must be an Ohio resident & 23 or older. Children must be 10 years or older.  ##1608231##

Story
Name: Kenny Gender: Male Age: 4 months Current Weight: 18 lbs Expected Adult Size: Medium (25-50 lbs) Breed: Terrier mix Energy Level: Medium Dog Friendly: Yes, and can have other dogs in the home or can be an only dog. Compatible Types if Dog Selective: Good with dogs he knows, nervous and barks at dogs not familiar to him. Will need slow introductions to any dogs in his new home. Cat Friendly: Selective Kid Friendly: No Apartment Friendly: No Physical Fence Requirement: Physical fence preferred Crate Trained: Yes Likes: Kenny loves food and treats! Learning new skills and tricks, taking walks, chewing on nylabones, destroying stuffed toys and removing their squeakers, hunting for sticks in the backyard, having a soft blanket on his raised bed, barking at the cats in his foster home, curling up on the couch during football games, and wrestling with his foster dog siblings. Dislikes: Sleeping in his crate at night (fine during the day), certain cats, nervous about unfamiliar dogs or when dogs in other yards are barking. Going outside in very cold weather. Ideal Home/Adopter: Kenny would do well in an active home. He likes to run around and play, then chill with a nylabone on his bed. He is very smart, LOVES learning new things, and is very food motivated, so a person or family willing to teach him new things would make him very happy. He does well in a crate while his foster family runs errands, etc. but would do best in an environment where he did not have to spend entire work day hours in a crate. Kenny does not like to sleep in his crate so he would prefer a family willing to allow him to sleep on the bed. Kenny enjoys playing with the dogs in his foster home, but is nervous about dogs he doesn't know so he will need time to adjust to any dog siblings in his new home.  What makes this dog special: Kenny is a young puppy with a love of learning! He is so smart and very food motivated which makes training with him so much fun. He is just a puppy, so often has to be reminded about appropriate behavior like not jumping or not mouthing, but he wants so badly to please (and to be rewarded with treats!) that he tries very hard to do whatever you are asking him to do. He makes the cutest noises and has the sweetest face you just can't help, but love him! Kenny's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting Kenny, apply at rescuedohio.org to become an approved adopter and a meet & greet can be set up once approved. ##1626790##

STING is the most Jack Russell of the three in this litter. Hes a little ornery boy and carries a big attitude in his little frame. But hes just as big of a love bug and enjoys all the cuddles he can get. Sting is very good with children too! There are children in his foster home and they have great fun together!Sting does not seem to have any fear/anxiety with humans or dogs at all so a dog sibling will be fine with this pup as long as the resident dog is fine with Sting!Stings foster mama can answer any questions you may have.Wont you please consider adopting this sweet boy!***As long as our dogs are on the website they are available.
