Story
This beautiful mama was part of a back yard breeder-hoarding case that brought her and 7 babies into the Dallas Dog family. Pekoe is a Dachshund/Jack Russel mix, just as sweet as can be but a little timid. She has few interactions with humans, just left outside to be a baby making machine. Pekoe deserves a life that provides soft beds, pampered care and lots of love. You can meet her by applying at www.dallasdog.org

Story
☕️💕 Meet the Tea Litter! 💕☕️ Meet Hibiscus, a little girl from the "Tea" litter. These babies are a Dachshund/Jack Russel mix. Born in the filth and neglect of a backyard breeder’s yard, they deserved so much more than the circumstances they were born into. The moment we learned about them, we stepped in and got this little family to safety. Since then, they’ve traded dirt and uncertainty for soft beds, full bellies, and the love of an amazing foster family. They’ve been learning that people can be kind, cuddles are wonderful, and the world is a much safer place than they ever knew. Now, these sweet little pups are healthy, happy, and getting ready for the best chapter of all—their happily ever afters. 🐾❤️ Like any puppies, they’re playful, curious, and full of silly antics that will keep you laughing. They can’t wait to find families who will cherish them for the rest of their lives and show them that their difficult beginning does not define their future. ✨ Their story started in a backyard. ✨ Their future belongs in a loving home. Could one of these little cups of sweetness be the perfect addition to your family? 🫖🐶💕 www.dallasdog.org/adopt Rld Photography TX, LLC These precious babies are just weeks old, but they’ve already overcome a heartbreaking start to life. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
My brother had taken in this dog from a friend that rescued him. Unfortunately he ended up being too much for just him to take care of along with his young kids. Chuck was already trained before and is pretty well behaved. He is very protective and craves attention and because of this behavior he has snapped at one of the kids barking and protecting my brother. Currently lives with another dog and is fine with him alone but as soon as a person is in the mix he immediately goes to protect that person and will bark and fight the other dog. Chuck would be best as an only dog unless someone knows how to train him to be okay with other pets. He needs a loving home with someone that can give him the attention he deserves.

Story
Star came to us along with her litter of pups from an old man's house where she got very little attention much less food. He said she was a stray but was not able to care for her properly, thus a litter of unwanted pups! A pizza delivery guy alerted us to her plight and we came to help. She is very enthusiastic and active and loves to run! After she came to the rescue, she lived with Luke a 5 months old pup for a while and they loved to run and play. He has now been adopted. She is a great size- about 45 lbs and could be a great running partner. We think she could also be a great couch potato given some time. Her breed is a little unknown. She is small for a Boxer so we are thinking something smaller might be mixed in- maybe JR Terrier? We hope you will consider adding STAR to your family soon. She now walks on a leash and is learning some basic manners. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue
