Story
Meet Clarissa, the pint-sized bundle of love weighing in at 35 pounds! This sweetheart was adopted as a puppy and did fantastically well, but unfortunately, she was recently returned. At almost five years old, Clarissa is a gem of a dog. She's currently living in boarding and gets along famously with all the other dogs, making her a favorite among her furry friends. Clarissa is part of our super dogs program and is excelling in her Canine Good Citizen training. We highly recommend homes with dogs her size or bigger for Clarissa. She's friendly, well-behaved, and ready to bring joy to a loving family. Clarissa is looking for either a foster or an adopter who can give her the forever home she deserves. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Danielle aka Coco is a sweet, comical little girl. She loves being petted and is quick to offer her belly for tummy rubs. She enjoys tearing around the backyard, at breakneck speed but stops after a couple of laps. She loves playing with her foster buddy, Marvin (aka Vinnie), but she can sometimes challenge other small dogs. She will also initially challenge larger dogs, but stops after being put in her place a time or two with a bark from the larger dog. Coco was returned for nipping at a baby but she was okay with toddlers in her foster home when she returned to our program. Because of her history, I would not recommend placing her with babies or children under the age of 6 or so. A trial period with any other dogs in the home would be recommended. She could also be an only dog and be perfectly happy. She loves people. ****Prior to filling out an application or contacting RHS, please completely read the instructions below.**** ALL ADOPTERS/FOSTERS MUST LIVE WITHIN 60 MILES OF RICHARDSON, TX. Story
Meet Cleo, a very affectionate little girl who is looking for a loving home. Cleo is 20 pounds and 2 years old. She enjoys cuddling, spending quality time with her people, playing tug-of-war with her toys, learning new tricks, and belly rubs. She is full of love and is a great companion! Her favorite time of the day is the morning because she gets so excited when she sees her people are up and ready to give her some attention.  Cleo’s past is unknown as she was a stray. She is thriving in the stability that a loving foster home provides. Cleo loves to be with her people but she is not the biggest fan of other dogs. Because of this, it would be best for Cleo to be the only dog in a household. Cleo is still working on: getting along with new dogs, not chewing on small items when she is left alone, and car rides. These situations may require additional training/exposure. Cleo is eager to learn! She is a curious little dog, loves to play with her toys and sniff for kibble in her snuffle mat. She is getting more comfortable with bath time and is doing well with housetraining, for the moment as she is still learning. Wherever you go, you can count on looking down and seeing Cleo at your side. She is a loyal companion, always ready to accompany you and snuggle up next to you.   Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. Story
Hi, my name is Walker. The vet said I’m about 4 years old.  I am a happy boy and I love people and dogs. I weigh about 30 lbs. My activities outside including chasing squirrels and other, not to be named, varmints, as I think I have a lot of terrier in me. Playing catch and batting a tennis ball around occupies me for a while and then – SQUIRREL! Inside I have a lot of toys that my sibling shares with me. My foster mom says I make good choices and only chew on toys, because I'm a Good boy!!! My foster sibling and I have a great time. I am friendly and love to play. Treats get my attention, and I am currently in training and I know a lot! Do I bark, you might ask? Well, I am NOT a cat!, so yes, but mostly with a purpose. I am not chatty but I will let you know if I think something has changed around me. I enjoy taking walks and sniffing, and I am perfect at meeting people and dogs. My goal is to have a family that will be kind to me, love me, and give me lots of attention. I will gladly reciprocate. Having another dog in my family would be perfect. Looking forward to lots of happy tail wags! ##1747931##
