Story
Jackson is a rescue dog and will be turning 2 years old in December. He is great with other dogs and kids, not aggressive. He is house broken. Jackson was rescued from a bad environment and gets scared if he is alone for long periods of time. Therefore he would do better with someone who is home a lot or with a companion. He is such a loving and loyal dog who loves getting attention.

Story
Chance was abandoned by his owner after having him for 6 years. His originally owner passed from a. Tragic accident, hence why the one that abandoned him did it with such ease. We rescued him but have ran out of time to keep him as he is reactive with my other dogs. He is extremely playful, obedient, loves snuggles and kisses. Adores his toys! He just needs another chance at life and owners who will take him in like real family. please reach out for anything and give this sweet baby a chance! He was so sad when we picked him up from the shelter thinking what he ever did to deserves being left. He’s under socialized and did good with my dog but she’s smaller and non reactive, but he does seem defensive so preferably a single household!

Story
Calling all Jack Russell Terrier lovers! Are you looking for a true, full-of-energy JRT? Meet Akira – The Playful Adventure-Seeker!  Akira is a spirited Jack Russell Terrier who’s ready to bounce her way into your heart!Weighing just 15 lbs, this pint-sized bundle of energy is the perfect companion for an active person or family with older kids. True to her breed, Akira is incredibly smart, curious, and always on the lookout for her next adventure.   She absolutely loves going for walks, playing with her toys and dog puzzles. Akira does well with older, respectful kids (teens) who understand how to interact with dogs. She isn’t the best fit for families with young children, as she doesn’t enjoy their high energy or playful handling.   She gets along with other dogs and enjoys their company, though she prefers slow, gentle introductions when meeting new furry friends   Akira is potty trained and is comfortable using potty pads or a doggy door. She is also crate trained, spayed and up to date on shots.   Akira would thrive in a home that offers plenty of physical and mental stimulation. Her ideal family is one familiar with Jack Russells or similar breeds who can give her the activity, stimulation, structure, and love she needs to stay happy.   Akira’s loving nature and adventurous spirit make her an amazing addition to the right family. She loves car rides and due to her size, she is the perfect companion for going literally anywhere!   Are you ready to be her forever companion? Learn more about our adoption process below and fill out an adoption application to take the first step in giving Akira (and Aisha!) the home they deserve!
