Meet Bunny and look at her precious ears! Bunny is a sweet Chihuahua mix, appropriately 1-2 years old, around 12 pounds, housebroken and crate trained. Bunny is good with other dogs, loves people and is kid friendly (school age children). Sweet Bunny loves to go on walks, play with her toys, chase squirrels in the backyard and snuggle up to rest for her next playful adventure. Bunny is as sweet as they come and loves her people. Sadly, Bunny is heartworm positive and will need to be spayed. She will begin her heartworm treatments in November and once the vet gives the okay she will be spayed. But no need to worry because DFW Rescue Me covers those costs at our local vet. But in the meantime, if you&#39re interested in this precious girl, please complete an application at dfwrescueme.org. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). Meet Addie! The pint-sized cutie with the perkiest ears in town! This adorable Jack Russell Terrier mix is 1½ years old, weighs just 16 pounds, and sports the prettiest tan-and-white coat you’ve ever seen. Her life got off to a rocky start when her previous elderly owner could no longer care for her, but those days are behind her now. In foster care, she’s learning all the best things about being a dog—soft beds, warm homes, gentle cuddles, and quality couch time. She’s blossoming more every day! She’s a friendly girl who gets along well with other dogs and even cats. She walks nicely on a leash, is crate trained, and house trained—pretty impressive for such a young pup! While she enjoys leisurely walks in nice weather, her true passion is snuggling up with her favorite humans and soaking up all the love. She’s hoping to find a calmer forever home where she can relax, feel secure, and be your loyal little shadow and best friend. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Her adoption donation is $275. Think she might be your perfect match? All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Ryzo is almost 11 years old. He was born in Illinois and has been with me since he was 3 months old. He may have some anxiety issues with riding in the car, seeing people from afar, and sometimes his own shadow at night, but he is mostly a smart, loving and playful dog. He is house trained and able to do many standard commands (and then some). He is also trained with an e-collar. I will be moving and am unable to take him with me (landlord). He is afraid of other animals, so ideally he should be in a single pet home. He is good with children of all ages.
