Meet Bunny and look at her precious ears! Bunny is a sweet Chihuahua mix, appropriately 1-2 years old, around 12 pounds, housebroken and crate trained. Bunny is good with other dogs, loves people and is kid friendly (school age children). Sweet Bunny loves to go on walks, play with her toys, chase squirrels in the backyard and snuggle up to rest for her next playful adventure. Bunny is as sweet as they come and loves her people. Sadly, Bunny is heartworm positive and will need to be spayed. She will begin her heartworm treatments in November and once the vet gives the okay she will be spayed. But no need to worry because DFW Rescue Me covers those costs at our local vet. But in the meantime, if you&#39re interested in this precious girl, please complete an application at dfwrescueme.org. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). Hi, I’m Miracle, an eight-pound Jack Russell Terrier mix with a big personality packed into a tiny body. I’m about four months old, and I’ve already proven I’m a sweet, curious, and confident little guy. I love playing with my toys, seeking attention from my people, and showing off my affectionate side. I get along well with kids and enjoy being part of the action. I can be a little shy at first and may need a bit more socialization, but give me just a couple of minutes and I come right out of my shell ready to play. I’m gentle, well behaved, and eager to learn, though I could use some leash training. I’m still figuring out how I feel about other dogs and cats, but with patience and love, I’m sure to grow into the perfect companion.

Ryzo is almost 11 years old. He was born in Illinois and has been with me since he was 3 months old. He may have some anxiety issues with riding in the car, seeing people from afar, and sometimes his own shadow at night, but he is mostly a smart, loving and playful dog. He is house trained and able to do many standard commands (and then some). He is also trained with an e-collar. I will be moving and am unable to take him with me (landlord). He is afraid of other animals, so ideally he should be in a single pet home. He is good with children of all ages.

Where are our BIG POINTY EAR LOVERS!?! We don't take many small to medium sized dogs, so Coco is a rare gem in our rescue. She is a full grown 20 lbs!!!! Coco is so sweet. She loves other dogs and is even great with cats, but smaller kids and their quick movements frighten her and make her super nervous - she runs/hides/shakes etc. She takes a bit to open up and fully trust to settle in, but once she does, she is the BIGGEST SNUGGLE BUG known!!
