Hello All, I adopted Hendrix as a puppy from a rescue in Austin, Tx. They were unsure of the breed, but speculated he is Jack Russell/Schnauzer mix and would be no bigger than 25lbs. He is currently 3 yo and varies from 55 - 70lbs . My job has me traveling more often and I will be going out of the country for months at a time, I want to make sure he has a nice home where they can love and care for him. He is very sweet but needs someone with patience and kindness, as he can be very clingy and attention-seeking. He has some anxiety around loud sounds and barking dogs as our neighbors have 2 dogs that constantly bark aggressively across our fence. He has a beautiful coat but does shed a bit. He’s a happy frisky boy but not a bounce off the wall boy. He only weighs about 10-12 pounds. He’s neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Wes wants to be friends with everyone. He even likes cats!!!! We hope you have another dog for him to play with because he LOVES to play! He needs a securely fenced back yard to run around in. No electronic fencing.
