Story
Pete is a gentle, quiet guy who loves a nice, warm spot on the couch next to you as much as a walk around the block. He gets along with other dogs, cats are unknown. He goes potty outside & is getting used to the snow & cold weather. He is very shy at first but will be an ideal companion for someone who will take their time to get to know him. If you’re interested in meeting Pete, apply at Rescuegang.org DATCP#483538

Story
Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs! To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info!   ***I am able to go home to my forever family right from transport!! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on June 5th and arrive on June 6th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 5/12/26 Dog Name: Millie Sex: Female Estimated Breed: Jack Russell Mix Approximate Age: 1-2 years Approximate Weight: 12 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Spayed Description: Millie was found alone in a field exposed to the elements and to predators. She was luckily picked up by animal control but then faced euthanasia as she was scared in the shelter and the city was out of room! Our Texas rescue partners stepped in to ensure she will get a second chance! Millie opened up and is so sweet and playful! Can be shy at first but once she warms up, she’s just a doll! She does well with other dogs and prefers kids over the age of 13 who will respect her space and let her slowly warm up to them. This girl deserves a family who will love her and keep her safe! She has a precious scruffy coat and such a cute little personality!  Adoption Fee: $550We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. May 20, 2026, 1:36 am

Story
Avox the mixed breed puppy's Story Arriving in Wisconsin May 29th! Introducing Avox, an adorable 3 month old female mixed breed puppy. While we do not know her exact breed mix, we believe she will be medium size when fully grown, and has some sort of terrier in her mix. She weighs about 12 pounds. Avox is a sweet girl who through no fault of her own ended up in the shelter in rural Texas. She can't wait to find her forever family in Wisconsin. Health & Vetting: Avox is up to date on vaccines for her age, is dewormed, and microchipped. She will come with medical records and an interstate health certificate from a licensed veterinarian confirming good health prior to transport. Adoption Details: Avox will arrive in Muskego, WI on May 29th. She will be available to meet (and go home if it’s a good fit) to the first family who has placed a deposit to hold her exclusively for them. Adoption Fee: $500. Deposit: $250 (applied toward adoption fee) The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. If upon meeting, she is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable. We kindly ask that you are serious about adopting before placing a deposit, as we only accept one per dog. Animals that do not receive a deposit prior to arrival will be available to meet at our upcoming adoption events or by appointment, no deposit required.
