Read below for more information. All our cats are fostered in Texas but available for transport out of state. Our cats are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $250 plus transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes age appropriate, vaccinations, registered microchip, testing for FIV and FELV, and a fecal analysis. Cats will be spayed/neutered if over 6 months of age. Cats will also be current on prevention. A health exam will be completed, and a certificate will be issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure. Macy is a beautiful and very affectionate lynx point siamese cat. We took Macy in after noticing her by our doorstep, i had assumed she came from a home as she was quite friendly and very well groomed, but as time passed she just kept showing up. I came across a listing for our home and to my surprise, there was Macy lying next to the fireplace next to a small area of baby toys! I went to the neighbors who confirmed that our current home was previously the home to poor little Macy. Her previous owners had moved away, leaving her locked out of her home. I couldn't let that happen. We have taken her in despite having a few kitties of our own, she is an absolute joy, but it is an unfortunate truth that our household can not permanently have this many cats present. I would love more than anything to see her go to a home where she can be appreciated for all of her gentle nature and beauty. Macy is approximately 4yrs old.
