Story
🏠Currently in a Seattle foster home Hi there, I’m Charlie! 🐾 I’m an 1-year-old boy with a small, adorable frame — I weigh about 5.6kg (just over 12 pounds). I may be little, but I have a big heart full of love, curiosity, and playful energy. 🧡 My Personality I’m a cheerful pup who’s always curious about the world around me. New places and experiences can feel a little overwhelming at first, so I might be a bit shy when I first arrive. But give me a few days, a little patience, and a lot of love — and soon you’ll see my true personality shine through! I warm up quickly and love spending time with people once I feel safe. I’m playful, affectionate, and I enjoy being part of the action. Whether it's following you around the house or snuggling after a bit of playtime, I just want to be close to you. 🐶 I’m Still Learning! Since I’m still a young pup, I’m working on learning all the basics — like potty training and how to walk nicely on a leash. I need a kind and patient family who can guide me with calm encouragement and help me build confidence through positive experiences. With time, consistency, and love, I’ll learn quickly and grow into a well-mannered little gentleman. 💫 What I Need A patient and loving home willing to teach me Positive guidance as I learn about the world A safe space to explore, play, and rest Plenty of cuddles and reassurance A forever family who believes in me 💕 I may be small, but I have so much love to give — and so much life to live. If you’re ready to welcome a sweet, playful, and loyal companion into your heart, I’d love to be the one. Will you be my forever family? With tail wags and puppy kisses, Charlie 🐶✨

Story
Hi, my name is Donny 🤍 I’m a female Jindo mix, I weigh about 18kg (40 lb), and I’m 3 years old. From the time I was very young, I lived tied up in front of a factory. I never got to leave that spot. I was just… there. A short leash. A few fixed steps I could take. And a space I had to protect—because no one else would. That factory wasn’t a playground or a place to rest. It was my entire world. A world where surviving was the only goal. I never learned how to meet people freely. I never learned how to make dog friends. My role was simple: guard my space, stay alive. Because of that life, I never had the chance to learn how to socialize with other dogs. When you grow up having to protect your space to survive, “other dogs” don’t feel like friends to play with. They can feel like something you must guard against. Not because you are aggressive— but because no one ever taught you another way. So if I seem uncomfortable around other dogs, please know this isn’t a flaw in my personality. It’s simply the mark of a life where I was never given the chance to learn. That’s why I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog. A home where, for the first time, I don’t have to share love— but can receive it fully, completely, for the rest of my life. I spent so long tied up, never chosen, never held. Just once, I want to be someone’s everything. With people, I am incredibly gentle. Soft-hearted, affectionate, and full of sweet charm. I love human attention more than anything. Real home life is new to me. Even though I’m three years old, my heart is still like a puppy’s— playful, curious, and easily surprised by the world. If I’m adopted, I’ll need to learn everything from the beginning: potty training, living inside a home, sharing everyday life with people. That’s why I need a family who won’t rush me, who will wait, who will teach me with patience and love. Someone who will walk at my pace. Slowly. Gently. Respectfully. Please— just look at me once. I truly believe that if I meet my family, I will return the love I missed for so long many times over. I’ll be a loyal, devoted, and deeply loving companion— the kind of dog you can walk beside for a lifetime 🤍

Story
🏠 Currently  in a Vancouver foster home Hi, my name is Hugh 🤍 I’m a male Jindo mix, 8 months old, and I weigh about 10kg (22 lb). I’m still a puppy, and the world is a little unfamiliar to me. I was rescued when I was very young and grew up living with other puppies. During my time at a foster home in Korea, I had some difficult experiences with young children who touched me too much and didn’t know when to stop. Because of that, I’ve learned to be cautious about approaching people first. But that’s not the whole story of who I am. At first, I may take a step back and quietly observe. But if you give me time and let us get to know each other, I’ll allow gentle touch, and eventually, I’ll choose to come closer on my own. Once trust is built, I’ll look at my person with soft eyes, walk over quietly, and lean against them for comfort. I’m very social with other dogs. I get along well with dogs my age and feel calm and secure when I’m around them. With unfamiliar people or new environments, I just need a little more time to adjust. During that time, I ask that you respect my pace and watch over me with patience and consistent love. I’m still only 8 months old. Before my past worries become permanent, with enough time and bonding with my person, my current cautiousness can fade away. I have so much potential to grow into a loving, affectionate, and gentle companion. I’m careful because I was hurt, but that also means I’m truly ready to learn what love is. What I need isn’t special training or advanced skills— just someone who can say, “It’s okay. Take your time.” I’m waiting for someone who will walk beside me through that time, until my heart feels safe enough to fully open. My past may have been painful, but my future can be warm— with you 🤍🐾

Story
Hello… my name is Yeon-gyeong 🤍 I’m 3 years old, a 15kg Jindo mix girl. There was a time when I was waiting for death. In a very poor shelter, where each day could have been my last, I stood quietly in line. I didn’t know why I was there. I don’t know who left me, where I was born, or what my life was supposed to be. But I know one thing about myself — I did not choose to hate people. Just before the end, I was rescued like a miracle. For the first time, I was given permission to live. A dog who almost wasn’t allowed to keep breathing… is now learning what life can be. --- And even after everything, I really love people. If you look into my eyes, my tail starts to wag first. When you come closer, I gently open my heart. I’m good with other dogs, and once I feel comfortable, I become affectionate and sweet. I’m the kind of dog who will quietly walk over and lean against you, as if I’m asking, “Is it okay for me to be loved too?” Home life may be new to me — a house, daily routines with people, rules and promises. I might not understand everything right away. I might be a little slow sometimes. I might need patience. But that’s not because I’m a bad dog. It’s simply because no one ever gave me the chance to learn. If you teach me with love and wait for me with kindness, I promise I will grow into a steady, loyal, beautiful companion. I want to learn. I want to belong. I want to stay. --- I am not waiting for another shelter, another goodbye, or death. I am waiting for my forever home — my forever family. A life where surviving is no longer the only thing I have. A life where I can truly be “Yeon-gyeong,” called by my name with warmth. Please let the rest of my story be filled with love instead of fear. Will you be the family that calls my name for the rest of my life? 🤍🐾

Story
🏠Currently in a Toronto foster home Hi, I’m Max. 🐾 I’m an 1-year-old Jindo mix boy, weighing around 9kg (about 20 lbs). Right now, I’m learning what it means to be without my mom and siblings for the very first time. Everything is new, a little scary… but I’m doing my best to be brave. 🧡 A Gentle, Sensitive Soul I’ll be honest — I’m not the boldest pup in the shelter. I can be really shy, and when I meet strangers, I might bark loudly at first. It’s not because I’m angry — I’m just unsure and trying to protect myself in this big, confusing world. But here’s the thing: when I start to see the same faces every day, I slowly let my guard down. I start wagging my tail. I start following you with curious eyes. Give me a little time, and I’ll give you all the love I’ve been holding back. 🐕 Social with the Right Friends I get along well with other dogs around my size — we can play, learn, and grow together. Big dogs still make me nervous, but I’m working on building my confidence. If you have a friendly, balanced dog at home, I’d love that — I learn best by watching and following others. Honestly, I’d do better in a home with another dog, rather than being the only one. 🚶‍♂️ Baby Steps into the World Walks are still a bit overwhelming for me, so sometimes I stop and hesitate. I haven’t had many chances to explore the world yet, so I need someone who will move at my pace — slowly, gently, and with lots of encouragement. Every day, I get a little braver. And yep — I’m still working on potty training and other puppy basics. But I’m eager to learn and grow, especially with someone who can show me what love, safety, and home really feel like. 💛 What I Need Most A patient and kind family who won’t rush me A calm, well-socialized dog sibling to help guide me A gentle routine and lots of positive reinforcement Understanding, time, and love A forever home where I’ll never feel scared or alone again I may be shy at first, but I promise — once I trust you, I’ll be your quiet, loyal shadow. I just need someone who sees past the fear and believes in the dog I’m becoming. Are you the one who’ll help me blossom? With quiet hope, Max 🐶💕

Story
🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster home My name is Jay, and I’m a 2-years-5-months-old Jindo mix with the softest, fluffiest fur—kind of like a Samoyed! I weigh 17kg and have a cute, chubby body that makes me extra cuddly. 🥰 My story almost had a sad ending… I was in a shelter, facing a very scary fate, but luckily, I was rescued just in time! Now, I’m ready to start a new life filled with love, belly rubs, and endless tail wags. I’m a super friendly and affectionate pup! I trust humans completely and will happily wiggle up to strangers just to get some pets. I don’t just love people—I adore them! Whether you’re my human or someone I just met, I’ll be right there, ready to soak up all the love you’re willing to give. 💕 Big dogs, small dogs, boys, girls—I love them all! I enjoy playing, exploring, and goofing around with my furry friends. I’m not the type to pick fights; I just want to have fun and make friends everywhere I go! I’m crazy about treats which makes me super easy to train! Right now, I’m learning “wait” at the facility, and my trainer says I’m really smart and eager to learn. I pick up new things quickly and always do my best to make my humans happy! Because I’m part Jindo, I might be a little sensitive when I first move to a new place. But don’t worry! I’m really good at adjusting, and with just a little time, I’ll settle in and feel right at home. Once I do, you’ll see just how loving, playful, and cuddly I truly am! I have so much love to give, and I’m looking for a family who will shower me with kindness, patience, and treats (did I mention I love treats?). If you’re looking for a sweet, friendly, playful pup who will bring joy and laughter into your home, I just might be your perfect match! 🏡🐾 Can’t wait to meet you! Love, Jay 💙🐕
