Story
Hi, my name is Donny 🤍 I’m a female Jindo mix, I weigh about 18kg (40 lb), and I’m 3 years old. From the time I was very young, I lived tied up in front of a factory. I never got to leave that spot. I was just… there. A short leash. A few fixed steps I could take. And a space I had to protect—because no one else would. That factory wasn’t a playground or a place to rest. It was my entire world. A world where surviving was the only goal. I never learned how to meet people freely. I never learned how to make dog friends. My role was simple: guard my space, stay alive. Because of that life, I never had the chance to learn how to socialize with other dogs. When you grow up having to protect your space to survive, “other dogs” don’t feel like friends to play with. They can feel like something you must guard against. Not because you are aggressive— but because no one ever taught you another way. So if I seem uncomfortable around other dogs, please know this isn’t a flaw in my personality. It’s simply the mark of a life where I was never given the chance to learn. That’s why I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog. A home where, for the first time, I don’t have to share love— but can receive it fully, completely, for the rest of my life. I spent so long tied up, never chosen, never held. Just once, I want to be someone’s everything. With people, I am incredibly gentle. Soft-hearted, affectionate, and full of sweet charm. I love human attention more than anything. Real home life is new to me. Even though I’m three years old, my heart is still like a puppy’s— playful, curious, and easily surprised by the world. If I’m adopted, I’ll need to learn everything from the beginning: potty training, living inside a home, sharing everyday life with people. That’s why I need a family who won’t rush me, who will wait, who will teach me with patience and love. Someone who will walk at my pace. Slowly. Gently. Respectfully. Please— just look at me once. I truly believe that if I meet my family, I will return the love I missed for so long many times over. I’ll be a loyal, devoted, and deeply loving companion— the kind of dog you can walk beside for a lifetime 🤍

Story
Meet Clory 🐾 Clory is a gentle, 3-year-old Jindo mix with a calm and sweet nature. She’s the kind of dog who loves to relax, snooze, and quietly enjoy the company of the people she trusts. She was rescued just in time and transferred to Dream Tails with other furry friends after being scheduled for euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in Korea. Thanks to this second chance, Clory is now looking for a loving forever home where she can finally feel safe. Clory gets along well with other dogs, especially those who share her laid-back energy. She enjoys affection and happily leans into cuddles and gentle pets. As she likely never lived inside a home before, she will need patience and guidance with potty training. However, given her calm temperament, she is expected to adapt well to home life. When left alone, Clory is likely to be respectful and relaxed, with a low risk of destructive behavior or separation anxiety—though, like any dog, she will benefit from reassurance and routine. Clory would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a peaceful, loving dog to share quiet moments and unconditional affection. 💛

Story
🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster homeHi… my name is Koon 🐾I’m a 1 year and 6 month old Jindo mix boy, about 15kg, with a strong body and an even bigger heart. People say I’m still at that age where I just want to run, play, and learn everything about the world—and they’re right. But my world started a little differently. I came to a shelter when I was just a tiny puppy, and for over a year, my days were spent in a small space. I didn’t get to explore much back then… but somehow, I never stopped believing that people are kind and the world is exciting. When I see humans, my tail starts wagging before I even realize it. I walk right up to say hello—I just can’t help myself. I love other dogs too, and I make friends easily. Being around others makes me feel happy and safe. About six months ago, something new began for me. I moved to a training center, where I started learning what “life” can be like. I’ve met lots of different people, learned rules, and practiced basic training. The trainers say I’m smart (I think so too 😉), and they always smile when I show them my cute side—which I have a lot of.But there’s one thing I’ve never had before… a real home. I don’t yet know what it’s like to rest in a cozy house, to have my own spot, to follow a daily routine with my family, or even to fully understand where to go potty. Everything about living in a home will be new to me.So if you’re thinking about becoming my family, I might need a little patience at first. I might be unsure, or make mistakes while I learn. But I promise—I love people, I love learning, and I really want to do well. If you guide me with kindness and consistency, I’ll try my very best to grow into the dog you can be proud of. If you take the time to show me the world from your side, I’ll give you something back that’s even bigger—my trust, my love, and my whole heart. For me, simple things like walking together, resting side by side, and sharing everyday moments… those are dreams I’ve been waiting for. Maybe… you’re the family I’ve been waiting for? It might be a little awkward at first, but over time, I’ll become your most loyal companion—the one who loves you more sincerely than anyone else. Will you be my first real family? 🐶💛

Story
🏠 Currently  in a Vancouver foster homeHi, my name is Hugh 🤍 I’m a male Jindo mix, 1 year old, and I weigh about 10kg (22 lb). I’m still a puppy, and the world is a little unfamiliar to me.I was rescued when I was very young and grew up living with other puppies. During my time at a foster home in Korea, I had some difficult experiences with young children who touched me too much and didn’t know when to stop.Because of that, I’ve learned to be cautious about approaching people first. But that’s not the whole story of who I am.At first, I may take a step back and quietly observe. But if you give me time and let us get to know each other, I’ll allow gentle touch, and eventually, I’ll choose to come closer on my own.Once trust is built, I’ll look at my person with soft eyes, walk over quietly, and lean against them for comfort.I’m very social with other dogs. I get along well with dogs my age and feel calm and secure when I’m around them. With unfamiliar people or new environments, I just need a little more time to adjust. During that time, I ask that you respect my pace and watch over me with patience and consistent love.I’m still only 10 months old. Before my past worries become permanent, with enough time and bonding with my person, my current cautiousness can fade away.I have so much potential to grow into a loving, affectionate, and gentle companion. I’m careful because I was hurt, but that also means I’m truly ready to learn what love is.What I need isn’t special training or advanced skills— just someone who can say, “It’s okay. Take your time.”I’m waiting for someone who will walk beside me through that time, until my heart feels safe enough to fully open.My past may have been painful, but my future can be warm— with you 🤍🐾

Story
🏠 Currently  in a Vancouver foster home Hi, my name is Tintin 🐾 I was rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea together with my littermate, Toto. I had to survive day by day in a cold, narrow wire cage, but thankfully I was given a second chance at life through rescue. Now, for the very first time, I am learning what it means to be part of a real, loving family. Tintin is a 10-month-old young puppy. Everything is still new, and the world is full of things she is just beginning to discover. When she meets new people or finds herself in unfamiliar environments, she may take a step back and observe carefully. This isn’t out of fear, but rather because she is still learning about the world at her own pace. It may take a little time for her to fully open her heart, but once trust is built, Tintin shows a deeply devoted and special kind of love. She enjoys quietly leaning against the people she loves, staying close as if to say, “I feel safe with you.” In her foster home, she has been building a strong bond with her caregiver and is showing more stability and comfort each day. Within the home—her familiar space—Tintin can be a bit thoughtful and cautious around new people. She prefers to take her time observing and understanding a situation first, but with calm guidance and patience from her caregiver, she gradually relaxes and becomes more at ease. As a young dog still learning about the world, she needs a family who will not rush her, but instead allow her the time she needs. Tintin can live with other dogs and does especially well with calm, easygoing companions. Interestingly, she shows a much brighter and more playful side outside the home—at the dog park, she enjoys running and interacting happily with other dogs. She is still learning when it comes to things she values, like food or toys. However, Tintin is a smart and observant puppy, and with gentle, consistent guidance, she will continue to grow in a positive direction. Tintin has shown a strong curiosity toward cats and small animals, so she would do best in a home without them. There are still things she is learning, such as car rides and everyday routines. But Tintin is a young dog with so much potential, and with a little patience and love, she will grow into a truly wonderful companion. Tintin may not be the kind of dog who opens up to everyone right away. But for the person who takes the time to understand her, she will offer a deep, sincere, and lasting bond. A small life that once began in a cold cage is now ready to learn what it means to be loved in a warm home. Tintin is waiting for a forever family who will walk gently beside her, one step at a time. 🤍

Story
My name is Nari. I’m a 3-year-old girl, about 18kg (that’s around 40lbs) of pure love, courage, and tail wags. People say I have a small, sturdy frame and the brightest, most soulful eyes — but I think my heart is the biggest thing about me. I wasn’t always safe like I am now. When I was found, I had been abandoned with my newborn puppies. One of my back ankles was already gone… just gone. No one knows how long I endured the pain, or how I managed to care for my babies through it all. But I did — because that’s the kind of girl I am. Strong. Loyal. A survivor. Thanks to kind humans, I got the treatment I needed, and now my wounds are all healed. I may be missing a part of my leg, but I walk, play, and go on walks just like any other dog. It doesn’t slow me down one bit! But here’s the most surprising part… Even after everything I’ve been through, I still love people. All people. Even new ones! I’ll walk up with a wagging tail, sniff your hand gently, and if you’re kind — I’ll trust you. It doesn’t take much. I get along with other dogs just fine, and once I get to know you, I’ll show you my silly, affectionate side. I’m smart, too! I pick up training quickly — especially when treats are involved. I’ve never had a real home before. But I dream of one all the time. A quiet, loving place where I can finally rest — where my days are filled with calm routines, cozy beds, gentle hands, and someone to call my own. Yes, I may look a little different. But my heart? It’s whole. It’s warm. And it’s ready to love you more deeply than you could ever imagine. I’m Nari, and I’m waiting for a miracle. Maybe it’s you.
