Story
Hi, my name is Milk 🐶 I’m about 6 months old, 10kg, and I’m a Jindo mix with a big heart and an even bigger curiosity for the world. I was rescued from a shelter where I was at risk of euthanasia, and ever since then, I’ve been learning that life can be full of love, fun, and kind people. Everything still feels new and exciting to me — every walk, every toy, every smell, every friend I meet. 😊 I absolutely LOVE people. I’ll happily follow you around, ask for cuddles, and show off my cutest little charms whenever I can. I also get along really well with other dogs and love running and playing with my furry friends. Because I’m still just a puppy, I have lots of energy and I’m still learning how to be on my own. Sometimes when I feel bored or lonely, I might chew on things or get a little anxious. But please remember — I’m not a “bad dog.” I’m simply a baby still learning about the world and how to feel safe in it. What helps me most is: 🐾 Lots of walks and playtime 🐾 Fun nose-work games and toys 🐾 Gentle practice being alone little by little 🐾 Calm, loving guidance and praise I’ve already experienced living in foster care, and I’m trying very hard to learn how to live happily with humans. With patience, routine, and love, I know I can grow into the most wonderful lifelong companion. Right now, I may still be clumsy, playful, and a little mischievous… but I promise my heart is full of love. I’m looking for a forever family who will stay by my side, teach me kindly, and love me through every stage of growing up. Could that family be you? 🤍

Story
🏠 Currently  in a Vancouver foster home Hi, my name is Tintin 🐾 I was rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea together with my littermate, Toto. I had to survive day by day in a cold, narrow wire cage, but thankfully I was given a second chance at life through rescue. Now, for the very first time, I am learning what it means to be part of a real, loving family. Tintin is a 10-month-old young puppy. Everything is still new, and the world is full of things she is just beginning to discover. When she meets new people or finds herself in unfamiliar environments, she may take a step back and observe carefully. This isn’t out of fear, but rather because she is still learning about the world at her own pace. It may take a little time for her to fully open her heart, but once trust is built, Tintin shows a deeply devoted and special kind of love. She enjoys quietly leaning against the people she loves, staying close as if to say, “I feel safe with you.” In her foster home, she has been building a strong bond with her caregiver and is showing more stability and comfort each day. Within the home—her familiar space—Tintin can be a bit thoughtful and cautious around new people. She prefers to take her time observing and understanding a situation first, but with calm guidance and patience from her caregiver, she gradually relaxes and becomes more at ease. As a young dog still learning about the world, she needs a family who will not rush her, but instead allow her the time she needs. Tintin can live with other dogs and does especially well with calm, easygoing companions. Interestingly, she shows a much brighter and more playful side outside the home—at the dog park, she enjoys running and interacting happily with other dogs. She is still learning when it comes to things she values, like food or toys. However, Tintin is a smart and observant puppy, and with gentle, consistent guidance, she will continue to grow in a positive direction. Tintin has shown a strong curiosity toward cats and small animals, so she would do best in a home without them. There are still things she is learning, such as car rides and everyday routines. But Tintin is a young dog with so much potential, and with a little patience and love, she will grow into a truly wonderful companion. Tintin may not be the kind of dog who opens up to everyone right away. But for the person who takes the time to understand her, she will offer a deep, sincere, and lasting bond. A small life that once began in a cold cage is now ready to learn what it means to be loved in a warm home. Tintin is waiting for a forever family who will walk gently beside her, one step at a time. 🤍

Story
Meet Toto 🐾 Toto was rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea together with his littermate, Tintin. He had spent his early life on a cold, narrow raised wire cage without proper care or freedom — a place where many dogs are confined for life before being sent to slaughter. Thankfully, Toto was given a second chance through rescue and is now beginning a new life. For the first time, he is learning what it means to experience kindness, safety, and love from people. Toto is growing out of his early puppy stage and entering an energetic and curious phase of life. Everything still feels new and exciting to him, and he approaches the world with bright curiosity and joy. He absolutely loves people — the moment someone calls his name or approaches, his tail begins to wag with excitement. He finds true happiness in being petted and receiving attention, and he thrives on human affection. Toto also gets along very well with other dogs. With his cheerful and affectionate personality, he brings warmth and positive energy to those around him. As a fairly active young dog, Toto would do best in a home that can provide regular walks and playtime to help him release his energy in a healthy way. He enjoys exploring, moving around, and engaging with his surroundings both indoors and outdoors. Like many young dogs, Toto is still learning. He will need guidance with potty training, basic manners, and learning how to settle calmly. However, because he is intelligent and highly people-oriented, he has great potential to grow into a wonderful companion with consistent and loving guidance. Toto shows strong curiosity toward cats or small animals and may try to chase them, so a home without cats would be the best fit for him. Rather than a quiet lifestyle, Toto is looking for a family who will share an active and joyful life with him — full of walks, play, and connection. Although his life began with painful memories, Toto continues to trust people and embrace the world with an open heart. This bright and loving boy is now waiting for a forever home where he can feel safe, settle in, and continue learning what it means to be truly loved. Please consider becoming Toto’s forever family 🤍

Story
Meet Clory 🐾 Clory is a gentle, 3-year-old Jindo mix with a calm and sweet nature. She’s the kind of dog who loves to relax, snooze, and quietly enjoy the company of the people she trusts. She was rescued just in time and transferred to Dream Tails with other furry friends after being scheduled for euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in Korea. Thanks to this second chance, Clory is now looking for a loving forever home where she can finally feel safe. Clory gets along well with other dogs, especially those who share her laid-back energy. She enjoys affection and happily leans into cuddles and gentle pets. As she likely never lived inside a home before, she will need patience and guidance with potty training. However, given her calm temperament, she is expected to adapt well to home life. When left alone, Clory is likely to be respectful and relaxed, with a low risk of destructive behavior or separation anxiety—though, like any dog, she will benefit from reassurance and routine. Clory would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a peaceful, loving dog to share quiet moments and unconditional affection. 💛

Story
Hi, my name is Haengbok 🐾 It means “happiness” in Korean — and while I may not feel fully happy just yet, I know my forever family will help me get there. I’m a 3-year-old Jindo girl with a gentle soul and a loving heart. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but if you show me patience and kindness, I’ll trust you quickly — sometimes in just a few hours. Once I do, I absolutely love cuddles, pets, and being close to my people. I was rescued by the director of Dream Tails when I was just a young pup. Back then, I wasn’t ready to find my forever home — I needed time to grow, learn, and feel safe. With the help of my trainers, I’ve opened my heart and shown everyone what a truly affectionate and loyal dog I am. I’m just waiting for someone who will understand me and love me for who I am. I get along very well with other dogs, but mealtime can make me a bit sensitive. With continued training, consistency, and reassurance, I’ll learn that everything is okay and that I don’t have to worry anymore. I do have some fears, and I might get startled by unexpected things on walks. I can walk on a leash, and with the support of a calm, loving human by my side, I know I can overcome these worries. All I need is someone willing to walk this journey with me. I’m a sweet, gentle, almost-fully-happy girl — waiting for my forever parents to help me complete my story. Will you be the one to make my name come true?

Story
Sia is a sweet 1-year-old male Jindo mix, weighing about 16 kilos, and the brother of Joonsoo. With his gentle nature and loving personality, Sia is a dog who quickly wins hearts. Sia loves humans and cuddles. He enjoys being close to people and happily soaks up affection whenever it’s offered. He is also excellent with other dogs and shows no food aggression. When he first arrived he was very skinny, so he can still eat quite quickly — a habit from the time when meals were uncertain. As he settles into a stable home and routine, this usually improves. Like many rescue dogs, Sia has never lived inside a home before, so his future family will need to guide him through house training and daily routines. With gentle, calm training and consistency, he is expected to adapt well. He may also need some patient guidance to become fully comfortable walking on a leash. Sia can sometimes be a bit skittish around men, but with kindness and time he learns to trust. He is generally a quiet dog and rarely barks, though as a true Jindo he may alert his family if someone knocks on the door or rings the bell. He has balanced energy — happy to be active and explore outside on walks, but calm and relaxed once back at home. Sia would thrive with a patient, gentle family who can help him build confidence and show him that the world is a safe place. Sia is ready to give his heart to a family who will guide him with kindness and love.
