Story
Hello! My name is Judy, and I'm a 2-year-old Jindo mix weighing 9.5kg. I'm looking for a family who will see just how special I am. Before I was rescued, I spent my days wandering the streets on my own. Thankfully, I was brought to safety and given a fresh start. Now I'm ready to find a forever home where I can finally belong. If you're looking for a social butterfly, I might be your perfect match! I absolutely love people and enjoy making new friends wherever I go. Even though Jindos are often known for being reserved with strangers, that's not really my style. I'll happily walk right up to new people, turn around, wiggle my little bottom, and silently ask, "Could you give me some pets right here?" I adore being close to my people, getting kisses, and even climbing onto your lap whenever I can. 🥰 I enjoy spending time with other dogs too! One of my favorite places is a dog park where I can run, chase my friends, and zoom around with endless excitement. I'm an energetic girl who loves outdoor adventures, so I'd be happiest with a family that enjoys walks, playtime, and making fun memories together. I do have one little quirk—I'm a bit protective of my favorite toys and treats. When I'm playing with other dogs, it's best if toys and high-value snacks are put away so everyone can enjoy themselves peacefully. With this simple management, I get along wonderfully with my canine friends. When I move to a new place, I might have an occasional potty accident while I'm figuring everything out. But don't worry—I'm a quick learner and adapt very quickly. When I first arrived at the rescue, I settled in almost immediately and showed everyone what a bright, confident girl I am. Once I understand my routine, I know exactly where to go. There's something special about me that I'd love my future family to know. I have hearing loss, so I don't hear sounds the way most dogs do. But that doesn't stop me from learning! At the rescue, I've been taught using hand signals, and I already know basic cues like "sit." If my new family continues communicating with me the same way, I'll happily keep learning. I may not hear your voice, but I pay close attention to your eyes, your smile, and your hands. Sometimes I also walk in small circles in one direction. This is believed to be a neurological behavior that has become a long-standing habit since I was young. The good news is that it doesn't interfere with my daily life, and I'm otherwise a happy, active dog. I have so much love to give. I love being loved, and I love showing my affection right back. My world isn't built around sounds—it's built around trust, kindness, gentle touches, and the people who choose to love me. I'm dreaming of a family who will take me on adventures, run and play with me, and "talk" to me through hand signals and loving smiles. Together, we'll create a language that's all our own. My journey has already shown me that life can get better. Now I'm just waiting for the people who will make it complete.

Story
🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster homeHi… my name is Koon 🐾I’m a 1 year old Jindo mix boy, about 15kg, with a strong body and an even bigger heart. People say I’m still at that age where I just want to run, play, and learn everything about the world—and they’re right. But my world started a little differently. I came to a shelter when I was just a tiny puppy, and for over a year, my days were spent in a small space. I didn’t get to explore much back then… but somehow, I never stopped believing that people are kind and the world is exciting. When I see humans, my tail starts wagging before I even realize it. I walk right up to say hello—I just can’t help myself. I love other dogs too, and I make friends easily. Being around others makes me feel happy and safe. About six months ago, something new began for me. I moved to a training center, where I started learning what “life” can be like. I’ve met lots of different people, learned rules, and practiced basic training. The trainers say I’m smart (I think so too 😉), and they always smile when I show them my cute side—which I have a lot of.But there’s one thing I’ve never had before… a real home. I don’t yet know what it’s like to rest in a cozy house, to have my own spot, to follow a daily routine with my family, or even to fully understand where to go potty. Everything about living in a home will be new to me.So if you’re thinking about becoming my family, I might need a little patience at first. I might be unsure, or make mistakes while I learn. But I promise—I love people, I love learning, and I really want to do well. If you guide me with kindness and consistency, I’ll try my very best to grow into the dog you can be proud of. If you take the time to show me the world from your side, I’ll give you something back that’s even bigger—my trust, my love, and my whole heart. For me, simple things like walking together, resting side by side, and sharing everyday moments… those are dreams I’ve been waiting for. Maybe… you’re the family I’ve been waiting for? It might be a little awkward at first, but over time, I’ll become your most loyal companion—the one who loves you more sincerely than anyone else. Will you be my first real family? 🐶💛

Story
Hello! My name is Buddy, and I'm a 4-year-old boy weighing 13.2kg, looking for the family I've always dreamed of.I was waiting in a municipal shelter with my time running out. I was on the euthanasia list, but thankfully, I was rescued just in time. That rescue gave me a second chance at life—and now I'm hoping my next chapter will be with my forever family.I'm a friendly and easygoing dog who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Whether I have furry siblings to play with or I'm the only dog in the house, I'm perfectly happy either way. I'm independent enough to enjoy my own company but also love sharing my life with others.People are pretty wonderful too! I'm friendly with both adults and children, and I'm not especially afraid of men. That said, I do seem to have a soft spot for women, especially gentle, nurturing women like moms or grandmas. They make me feel safe, and I tend to open my heart to them very quickly. 🤍One of my favorite things in the world is playing with toys! When I'm feeling playful, I might let out a little bark as if to say, "Come play with me!" I also love cozy places, especially soft beds. If I'm sleeping beside my person, you'll often find me curled up near your legs or feet. But don't worry—I also sleep very well on my own, so I'm perfectly comfortable sleeping separately at night.I'm a little sensitive to loud noises. Sudden sounds, passing cars, or motorcycles can startle me, but I'm not the type to bark excessively because of them. I simply need a little reassurance while I build my confidence.I'm still working on my walking manners. I enjoy going for walks and prefer doing my business outside, but I could use a little more leash training. With patience and consistency, I'm sure I'll become an excellent walking companion.Car rides are probably my biggest challenge right now. I get motion sickness and can become anxious during long drives. You might notice me drooling, getting a runny nose, or breathing through my mouth. Even so, I usually stay settled by sitting or lying down instead of pacing around. One thing I'm really proud of is that I don't have separation anxiety. I'm quite comfortable spending time on my own. Around the house, I'm also a curious little explorer! I love sniffing every interesting scent and sometimes even licking the floor while I investigate. Because of my curious nose, my family will just need to keep an eye out to make sure I don't accidentally pick up anything I shouldn't.I've already learned a few tricks! I know "sit" and "paw," and I can even do "down" when I'm on the bed. I'm a smart boy, and I'd love to keep learning new things with a family that enjoys training and spending time together.I'm the kind of dog who can happily relax by myself, but when I want your attention, I'll bring you a toy or give a small bark to let you know it's playtime. I have a sweet way of communicating, and I think you'll quickly learn all my little expressions. My life almost ended before it truly began, but someone gave me a second chance. Now all I dream about is a warm bed, my favorite toys, peaceful walks, and a family to love for the rest of my life.I may not be perfect, but I'll reward your patience with loyalty, affection, and countless happy memories. Will you be the family that gives me my happily ever after? 🐾🤍

Story
Hi, I'm Hoya. 💛🐾 My name is Hoya, and I'm a 2-year-old girl weighing about 10 kg. When we first meet, I might seem a little quiet and shy. I like to take my time getting to know new people. But if you're patient with me, you'll discover that I'm actually a sweet, affectionate girl who loves to share gentle cuddles and quiet moments with the people I trust. Before I was rescued, I arrived at a municipal shelter with a fractured back leg. Thankfully, it healed beautifully on its own, and the veterinarian confirmed that I didn't need surgery. Today, I live a happy, active life—I enjoy my walks, play with my dog friends, and don't let my past slow me down. One of my favorite things in the world is making dog friends! I get along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and love having companions to play with. If you already have a friendly dog at home, I think we'd have so much fun together. I'd also be perfectly happy as your one and only, as long as I have a family who loves me. I love people too, but I don't rush into new friendships. I can be a little cautious around strangers, especially adult men I've never met before. Please don't take it personally—I just need a little time to feel safe. Once I know you're kind, I'll choose to come to you on my own, and before long you'll see my affectionate, loving personality shine through. Walks are one of my favorite parts of the day. I don't pull much on the leash and naturally enjoy walking at my person's pace. Loud traffic, fluttering signs, and other everyday sights don't bother me very much. Even when I spot birds or small animals, I'm usually more curious than excited. I'm also a very easy companion to live with. I rarely bark, I'm comfortable riding in the car, and I'm calm and cooperative during vet visits. I take my medication without a fuss and I'm not a picky eater either. I'm quite independent, too. If my family leaves the room, I may whine softly for a moment, but I settle down quickly and wait patiently. I've even stayed home alone for a few hours without any problems. There are still a few things I'd love to learn with my forever family. I haven't had much training yet, so commands like "sit," "down," and "paw" will all be new adventures for us. When I first arrive in a new home, I may have a few potty accidents while I'm adjusting, but once I understand that it's my home, I settle into a reliable outdoor potty routine. If I had to describe myself in just a few words, I'd say I'm… Gentle. Kind. Loyal. A friend to everyone I love. I may need a little time to settle into my new life, but if you can be patient and love me for who I am, I promise I'll reward you with unwavering trust and a lifetime of quiet companionship. I've already overcome the hardest chapter of my life. Maybe the happiest chapter… is the one we'll write together. 💛

Story
Meet Kong 🤎🐾 Hello! My name is Kong. 🐶🤎 I’m a 4-year-old boy, and I weigh about 20 kg (44 lbs). I’m a Jindo mix with a gentle heart and a pair of soft, soulful eyes. When you first meet me, you might find yourself looking into my eyes for a little while. I have a calm and gentle way of looking at people that makes it easy to see how sweet I am. 😊 I’m a very quiet and easygoing boy. I’m not the type to make a big fuss or constantly ask for attention. Instead, I love simply being near the people I care about. Sometimes, all I need is to sit quietly beside you and share the same space. I hope I can become the kind of companion who makes your home feel a little more peaceful just by being there. I really love people! Even when meeting someone for the first time, I’m usually comfortable approaching them and gently showing my affection. I’m more of a soft “Hi, I’m Kong!” kind of boy rather than one who jumps all over you. 🥰 I also enjoy meeting other dogs. When I meet a new friend, I like to take my time, sniff around, say hello politely, and get to know them at my own pace. I’m generally friendly and gentle with my doggy friends. New places and unfamiliar sounds or situations can make me a little cautious at first. But if you give me some time and let me adjust at my own pace, I settle in nicely. I don’t need to be rushed—I just need a little patience and reassurance while I figure things out. At home, I’m wonderfully calm. I may follow my person around from time to time, but most of the day I’m perfectly happy relaxing in my own spot. I can also spend time alone relatively well and wait patiently for my family to come home. At night, I settle into my designated sleeping area and sleep comfortably. 💤 I enjoy going for walks, too! 🌿 I’m pretty good at following my person’s lead and walking calmly while taking in all the interesting smells around me. Every now and then, I’ll stop and look back at you. Maybe I’m just checking in to make sure we’re doing okay… or maybe I’m secretly saying, “I really like walking with you.” 🤎 When I see people or other dogs during our walks, I can become a little more cheerful and social. It’s one of the times when you get to see my brighter, more playful side. I’m about 90% potty trained outdoors. I’m still working on becoming completely reliable, but with a little consistency and practice, I’m sure I can get there! And yes… I really like food. 🍚 If something smells delicious, of course I’m going to be interested! I used to be a little more focused on food, but with consistent training, I’m learning to wait patiently and be calmer around meals and treats. Bath time isn’t exactly my favorite activity, but I’m actually quite cooperative and handle it pretty well. Overall, I’m in good health. I occasionally have a mild cough, so my family should keep an eye on it and make sure I continue to be monitored. I think I would be happiest in a calm and peaceful home where my family can give me time to adjust and grow at my own pace. I would love a family who enjoys taking daily walks with me and teaching me little things along the way. With patience, consistency, and lots of encouragement, I think I can become an even more confident Kong. I may not show you my whole heart right away. I’m not the kind of dog who immediately gives you all of my love. But once I trust you, something very special happens. Little by little, you may notice me coming closer to you. Sitting beside you. Looking up at you. Following you from room to room. And before you know it, I’ll simply be there—quietly by your side. I may not be the most dramatic or flashy dog when it comes to showing love. Instead, I’m the kind of boy who loves quietly, faithfully, and for a very long time. I’m looking for a family who will enjoy the simple things with me—the morning walks, the quiet evenings, the gentle looks across the room, and all those ordinary days that somehow become special because we’re together. Would you like to take things slowly with me and become my forever family? 🤎🐾

Story
Meet Clory 🐾 Clory is a gentle, 3-year-old Jindo mix with a calm and sweet nature. She’s the kind of dog who loves to relax, snooze, and quietly enjoy the company of the people she trusts. She was rescued just in time and transferred to Dream Tails with other furry friends after being scheduled for euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in Korea. Thanks to this second chance, Clory is now looking for a loving forever home where she can finally feel safe. Clory gets along well with other dogs, especially those who share her laid-back energy. She enjoys affection and happily leans into cuddles and gentle pets. As she likely never lived inside a home before, she will need patience and guidance with potty training. However, given her calm temperament, she is expected to adapt well to home life. When left alone, Clory is likely to be respectful and relaxed, with a low risk of destructive behavior or separation anxiety—though, like any dog, she will benefit from reassurance and routine. Clory would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a peaceful, loving dog to share quiet moments and unconditional affection. 💛
