QUICK FACTS Name: Minam Age: 4 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo Chihuahua mix Color: Cream Weight:  8kg / 17.6lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY My previous owner was an elderly man who lived alone and relied on government assistance. He was our family and the only home we had ever known. Sadly, he passed away after struggling with a chronic illness, and just like that, we suddenly lost both our person and our home. For a long time, we had been living in difficult conditions without even proper ventilation. After our owner passed away, there was no one left to care for us, and eventually we were brought to the shelter. Everything we knew changed so suddenly, and we couldn’t understand why our familiar person and home were gone. Despite everything we’ve been through, we’ve now been given the chance to start over. We’re ready to leave those difficult days behind and find loving forever families where we can finally experience the comfort, stability, and care every dog deserves. All we’re missing now is a safe place to call home again.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues Some of my front teeth are missing but I have no issues eating and living my normal life   MY PERSONALITY Despite not having much socialization in my past, I open up surprisingly quickly. Tasty treats are definitely the way to my heart and make it much easier for me to feel comfortable around new people. I’m also even smaller and cuter in person! During my profile photoshoot, it didn’t take long before I was happily following the volunteers and staff around, hoping they might have another treat waiting for me. I have so much potential and am eager to learn. With patience, positive experiences, and plenty of encouragement, I’m ready to continue building my confidence and discovering just how wonderful life with a loving family can be.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when we first meet, but it doesn’t take me long to warm up. During my profile photoshoot, it only took about 30 minutes before I felt completely comfortable and was happily leaning in for pets and snuggles. I’m comfortable being picked up once I trust you, but sudden movements or unexpected pickups can startle me and make me want to run away. A gentle approach and a little bonding time first will help me feel safe and secure. Once I’m comfortable, I love being close to my people. If you’re sitting down, don’t be surprised if I come over and climb right into your lap for some extra cuddles and affection. Give me a little patience, a few treats, and some gentle affection, and you’ll quickly see just how sweet and cuddly I can be. · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dogs, but I don’t usually jump straight into play. I prefer taking things at my own pace and am often happy doing my own thing. I generally get along best with dogs who have a similar size and energy level and respect my space. I’m especially close to my sibling, Misong, since we’ve spent our whole lives together. I depend on Misong quite a bit for comfort and reassurance, especially when I’m feeling unsure. Having my sibling nearby helps me feel safe and gives me confidence as I adjust to new situations. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m still working on perfecting my leash manners and may pull at times, but overall I follow my handler’s lead nicely. I also have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals or treats from either people or other dogs. I may bark occasionally, but I settle down quickly and know how to rest calmly in my kennel. I can even jump in and out of the car all by myself. Don’t underestimate these short little legs! For potty habits, I currently go both indoors using pee pads and outdoors. With a consistent routine in my forever home, I should continue adjusting nicely.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Ideally, an environment where both me and my sibling Misong can be adopted together – but not an absolute requirement   SPECIAL NOTES My name means “handsome boy” in Korean, and I’d say it suits me pretty well! I may be small, but don’t let my size fool you. I’m a sturdy little guy with strong, short legs and plenty of personality packed into my compact body. Those little legs are more capable than they look too. I can even hop in and out of the car all by myself! I’m proof that you don’t need to be big to be mighty. More than anything, I can’t wait to bond with my forever family. I may need a little time to warm up at first, but it doesn’t take me long to start seeking out affection, snuggles, and a cozy lap to curl up on. Give me a little patience and love, and I have a feeling we’ll become best friends in no time.   MINAM'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2847387##

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Misong Age: 4 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo Chihuahua mix Color: Cream Weight:  6.7kg / 14.7lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY My previous owner was an elderly man who lived alone and relied on government assistance. We’re ready to leave those difficult days behind and find loving forever families where we can finally experience the comfort, stability, and care every dog deserves. All we’re missing now is a safe place to call home again.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m smaller than my sibling, Minam, and I’m a delicate, sensitive little princess at heart. I may need a little extra time and reassurance when experiencing something new, but once I feel safe, my sweet and affectionate personality begins to shine. I’m gentle by nature and find a lot of comfort in the people and dogs I trust. Give me patience, kindness, and a little time to blossom, and I’ll show you just how loving this tiny princess can be.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a little shyer than my sibling, Minam, so I may need some extra time to feel comfortable when we first meet. Treats are a great way to win me over, and I’ll happily take them gently from your hand while I get to know you. I may take things at a slower pace, but I promise I’m worth the wait! Once I feel safe and realize I can trust you, I’ll start coming out of my shell and showing you just how affectionate I can be. Before long, you’ll be getting plenty of love and kisses from me. Despite my shy nature, I did wonderfully during my profile photoshoot and showed everyone that with a little patience and encouragement, I can adjust beautifully to new people and experiences. · With Dogs: I’m more independent when it comes to my dog friends and don’t have much interest in playing or constantly interacting with them. I’m usually perfectly happy doing my own thing. That said, having a familiar dog nearby can bring me a lot of emotional comfort and help me feel more secure. I can form deep bonds with dogs I know and trust, and those special friendships can be an important source of reassurance for me. At the care facility, I often follow my sibling Minam around and look to him for comfort and confidence. I would do well with a calm, compatible dog sibling who I can gradually build a close bond with, but I don’t need a highly playful canine companion. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a low energy level and enjoy a slower, more relaxed lifestyle. I love spending some time outside soaking up the sunshine, getting fresh air, and quietly taking in my surroundings. I don’t require a lot of exercise to feel happy and fulfilled. After some gentle outdoor time, I’m more than content heading back inside to curl up somewhere cozy and enjoy plenty of snuggles with my people.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m still working on perfecting my leash manners and may pull at times, but overall I follow my handler’s lead nicely. I also have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals or treats from either people or other dogs. I’m a quiet girl who rarely barks, and I already know how to settle down and rest calmly in my kennel. Car rides can still make me nervous, and I’m also prone to motion sickness, so I’ll need some extra preparation and support for longer trips. For now, being close to someone I trust helps me feel more secure during car rides. For potty habits, I currently go both indoors using pee pads and outdoors. With a consistent routine in my forever home, I should continue adjusting nicely.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Ideally, an environment where both me and my sibling Minam can be adopted together – but not an absolute requirement   SPECIAL NOTES The cutest thing happened during my profile photoshoot. Even though I was feeling shy, I still happily ate plenty of treats! It was a perfect little glimpse of my personality and showed that I really just need some time, patience, and a few tasty snacks to feel safe. I tend to open up relatively quickly once I realize I’m surrounded by kind people. Once I start trusting you, I become very attached and love following you around. I look to the people I trust for emotional comfort and reassurance, and being close to you helps me feel safe. I may not show you my whole personality the moment we meet, but give me a little time, and you’ll see just how affectionate and devoted I can be. Once you become my person, I’ll happily be your sweet little shadow.   MISONG'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2847389##

🐾 MEET NALDOL — LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER FAMILY 🏡🤎 Sweet Naldol has waited a long time for his chance to be loved. At approximately 7 years old, he may be considered a senior, but his heart is still young. 🥹🤎 He is curious, affectionate, and has an adorable puppy-like side that comes out whenever he is with his people. ✨ ABOUT NALDOL 🐶 Jindo Mix 🎂 Approx. 7 years old ⚖️ 18 kg / 40 lbs ♂️ Male ⚡ Energy: Medium-Low 🍗 Chicken allergy 🤎 PERSONALITY Naldol is calm, gentle, and affectionate. He loves people but is also perfectly happy relaxing independently. When someone he loves is nearby, though, his sweet and playful side comes out. 👩 Women: Excellent 👨 Men: A little nervous at first, but warms up quickly 👧 Children: Good 🐕 Dogs: Good — calm and respectful around other dogs 🐈 Cats: May show interest outdoors, but generally ignores them indoors 🏡 HOME LIFE ✔️ 100% outdoor potty trained ✔️ Crate trained ✔️ Apartment friendly ✔️ Almost never barks ✔️ No destructive behavior ✔️ Easy to handle ✔️ Loves walks ✔️ No carsickness ✔️ Can be an only dog or live with another compatible dog ✔️ A yard is NOT required When something scares him, his instinct is to move away or escape, so his family will need to be mindful of keeping him secure, especially while he is adjusting to a new environment. 💔 HIS STORY Naldol was rescued from a troubled animal shelter in Korea, where he spent many years living in difficult conditions without the care and protection every dog deserves. Eventually, Naldol was rescued. But by then, so much time had already passed. He is now approximately 7 years old, and we don't want him to spend any more of his life waiting. 🥺 Naldol doesn't need anything extraordinary. He just needs someone who will give him a safe place to sleep, peaceful walks, gentle affection, and the comfort of knowing that he finally belongs. After everything he has been through, we hope the rest of Naldol's life can be the happiest part of his story. 🤎 🏡 NALDOL IS LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME Please share Naldol's story and help his family find him. 🙏🏻🐾

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Nicole Age: About 9 Months Old (Born in December 2025) Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo Mix Color: White and Beige Weight: 12.85kg / 29lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was only about two to three weeks old when rescuers found me while they were trying to save my mom, who had been wandering with a serious injury from a snare. With temperatures dropping quickly, I was far too young and vulnerable to remain outside, so I was brought to safety as well. Thanks to that timely rescue, I was given the chance to grow up surrounded by care, and now I’m looking forward to a brighter future with a loving forever family.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Nicole! I’m still a young puppy, and underneath my cautious side is a very gentle girl with plenty of adorable puppy personality waiting to come out. I may be sensitive and timid in unfamiliar environments, so new places and major changes can feel overwhelming at first. Although I may be nervous at first, I’m naturally very gentle. Once I feel safe with someone, I have a wonderfully affectionate side too. One of my favorite places to be is sitting right on a person’s lap, and when the toys come out, you get to see just how young I really am! I absolutely love playing with toys, and watching me play brings out the silly, carefree puppy that can sometimes be hidden behind my shyness. I’ve even invented my own entertainment at the rescue center: I’m often spotted playing with my water bowl and happily splashing around! I’m gentle, affectionate once I feel secure, wonderfully playful, and still young enough to have plenty to learn. Give me structure, patience, toys to play with, and a safe lap to climb into, and you’ll get to watch a cautious little puppy gradually discover just how much fun being part of a family can be.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be quite cautious around unfamiliar people and prefer to take some time to get to know someone before I’m comfortable being touched. I’ll accept treats while we build trust, and with patience and gentle interactions, I can usually warm up and become comfortable within a few days to about a week. I haven’t had experience with children under 13 yet, so my comfort level with younger kids is still unknown. · With Dogs: I’m friendly and social with other dogs, and I enjoy approaching both familiar and new dogs to say hello and invite them to play. I generally do well with dogs around my own size. If another dog challenges or provokes me, however, I may respond rather than back away, so calm and careful introductions are important when I’m meeting a new dog for the first time. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, but I’m also happy to settle down and relax afterward. I have plenty of walking experience and good leash manners, following my person well without pulling. I’m most comfortable walking in quieter areas, as busy roads, sudden movements, and unexpected street noises can make me nervous. Calm walking routes, gentle reassurance, and gradual exposure to busier surroundings can help me feel safer and build confidence over time.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m comfortable with people around my food and don’t show food guarding toward them. My behaviour around other dogs at mealtimes is still being assessed because I’m currently fed separately, but I may growl or potentially get into a conflict if another dog approaches my food, so separate feeding is the safest approach for now. When there’s something I really want, I may use demand barking to communicate, and I may also bark when I see someone unfamiliar. With consistent guidance and positive training, I can continue learning calmer ways to express myself. I’m calm and settled in a kennel During car rides, but I’m prone to motion sickness and may vomit after being in the car for about an hour. I’m comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going potty outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I’ll need careful support during the transition into a home as I’m still learning and growing. The current plan is for me to spend time in a foster home first, where I can gain household experience and continue my training before traveling overseas.    NICOLE'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2839772##
