Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Poca Age: 3 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo mix Color: Black Weight: 11kg / 24lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a crowded city pound, and it truly felt like a miracle. On that special day, not only was I saved, but many of my city pound buddies were rescued too. We were all given a second chance at life and the opportunity to finally search for loving forever homes of our own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I was found wandering the streets alone when I was just a very young puppy. When I was brought to the city pound, I was estimated to be only around 2 months old. Because of the environment I grew up in, I didn’t have many opportunities for proper socialization or exposure to the world during those important early months. As a result, I can be shy and reserved in the beginning, and I would do best with a patient family that understands shy rescue dogs and is willing to let me build confidence at my own pace. But despite my difficult start, I’m an incredibly resilient boy who continues to learn, grow, and open up more every day. I’ve already come such a long way since my rescue. Now, I happily follow volunteers and staff around, take treats gently from their hands, and even do well during bath time. I also have a huge appetite, which makes me eager to learn and responsive to positive reinforcement. Deep down, I’m such a gentle soul. I’m so soft-hearted that I’ll even let my friends take my food without making a fuss. All I really want is love, reassurance, and a family who will help me continue blossoming into the confident dog I’m meant to be.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a bit reserved and shy in the beginning, and I do need some time to adjust to new people and environments, but I promise I’m worth the wait. Once I build trust and bond with you, I become very attached and will happily follow you around wanting to stay close by your side. I allow myself to be picked up and handled gently, and I tolerate grooming well too. I also enjoy taking treats from your hands, which helps me build confidence and trust little by little. · With Dogs: While I can be shy with people at first, I’m wonderful with my dog friends. I love meeting new dogs and truly enjoy their company. I rely a lot on my dog companions for emotional support, and being around calm, friendly dogs helps me feel more confident and secure. I generally get along best with dogs of a similar size. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s going for walks or exploring, but once I’ve had my activity, I’m more than happy to come inside, curl up, and enjoy a cozy nap.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk well on leash and follow my handler’s lead nicely. I’m improving more every day, though loud noises can still make me a little nervous at times. Even so, I continue building confidence and becoming braver with new experiences. I have wonderful manners around food and don’t guard my meals from people or other dogs. In fact, I’m such a gentle soul that I’ll sometimes even let my friends take my food without making a fuss. I’m also an incredibly quiet and calm boy who knows how to rest peacefully in my kennel. I’m comfortable using both pee pads indoors and going potty outside, making me adaptable to different routines.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A patient and understanding family who will give me the time and reassurance I need to settle in comfortably and slowly come out of my shell at my own pace • A home with another dog sibling – not an absolute requirement    SPECIAL NOTES I’m truly a sweet and gentle boy with a soft heart and so much potential waiting to shine. One of my favorite things is spending time with my dog friends, whether it’s playing together, enjoying toys, or having fun with tug games. Even though I can be shy with people at first, my playful and loving personality starts to come out more and more once I feel safe. I also absolutely love food and have a huge appetite, which makes me a very eager and motivated student when it comes to learning new things. I’m smart, willing to learn, and respond beautifully to patience, routine, and positive reinforcement. I may need a little adjustment period in the beginning, but once I settle in and build trust, I bond deeply and become such a loyal and affectionate companion. Volunteers and staff truly believe I have so much potential to blossom in the right home. And on top of all that, I have stunning black fur that makes me even more handsome in person.   POCA'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2736203##

QUICK FACTS Name: Sappoon Age: About 5 Years Old Gender: Female (Spaying Scheduled) Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Beige Weight: 15.6kg / 33lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY In 2025, I was rescued from a terrible situation after being dragged alongside a motorcycle. By the time I was finally safe, my paw pads had been badly injured, and the scars are still with me today. Even so, I haven’t let those painful memories take away my gentle heart. Little by little, I’m learning that life can be kind, quiet, and safe too. These days, I’m focusing on healing and enjoying the small comforts I once never knew. And through it all, I still look at people with hope in my eyes.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spaying Scheduled & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Sappoon. I’m a classic Jindo at heart—calm, thoughtful, and quietly loyal. I have a gentle, well-balanced personality and naturally enjoy being around people. Once I’m comfortable, I stay close with a soft, steady kind of affection that feels easy and comforting. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a calm spirit, gentle manners, and the quiet charm that Jindos are known for, I would love to share a peaceful life by your side.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a naturally affectionate dog who loves being close to people—I’ll happily walk up, lean against you, and enjoy gentle attention, even from someone I’ve just met. Being picked up feels comfortable for me. I haven’t had the chance to meet young children yet, so I may simply need a little time and guidance as I experience something new. · With Dogs: I’m friendly and curious when meeting other dogs, often walking up to say hello in a calm and polite way, even if I don’t always choose to play afterward. I’m generally comfortable around dogs of all sizes, but very high-energy dogs can sometimes feel a little overwhelming for me. If another dog is pushy or confrontational, I may react in return, so thoughtful introductions and respectful dog friends help me feel most at ease. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring at a comfortable pace, then settling down quietly once I’ve had my fun. Walks feel natural and enjoyable for me—I move calmly on leash, stay nicely connected to my person, and make an easy companion to have by your side.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m gentle and trusting with people around my food, and I’m happy to share space comfortably during mealtimes. Around other dogs, I may quietly communicate my boundaries while eating if another dog comes too close, simply because I prefer a little personal space during meals. I settle calmly in a kennel. I generally prefer doing my bathroom breaks outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES    SAPPOON'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2736160##

Story
Hi, my name is Milk 🐶 I’m about 6 months old, 10kg, and I’m a Jindo mix with a big heart and an even bigger curiosity for the world. I was rescued from a shelter where I was at risk of euthanasia, and ever since then, I’ve been learning that life can be full of love, fun, and kind people. Everything still feels new and exciting to me — every walk, every toy, every smell, every friend I meet. 😊 I absolutely LOVE people. I’ll happily follow you around, ask for cuddles, and show off my cutest little charms whenever I can. I also get along really well with other dogs and love running and playing with my furry friends. Because I’m still just a puppy, I have lots of energy and I’m still learning how to be on my own. Sometimes when I feel bored or lonely, I might chew on things or get a little anxious. But please remember — I’m not a “bad dog.” I’m simply a baby still learning about the world and how to feel safe in it. What helps me most is: 🐾 Lots of walks and playtime 🐾 Fun nose-work games and toys 🐾 Gentle practice being alone little by little 🐾 Calm, loving guidance and praise I’ve already experienced living in foster care, and I’m trying very hard to learn how to live happily with humans. With patience, routine, and love, I know I can grow into the most wonderful lifelong companion. Right now, I may still be clumsy, playful, and a little mischievous… but I promise my heart is full of love. I’m looking for a forever family who will stay by my side, teach me kindly, and love me through every stage of growing up. Could that family be you? 🤍
