Story
Meet Marvin – A Gentle Soul Ready for His Forever Home!   Marvin has spent over two years waiting for a family of his own, but through it all, he has never lost his kind heart or gentle spirit. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who simply enjoys being by your side, Marvin may be the perfect match.   Name: Marvin Age: 2 years Breed: Jindo Mix Gender: Neutered Male Weight: 15 kg (33 lbs) Height: 57 cm (shoulder height) Color: Beige & White   Rescue Story Marvin was found wandering as a two-month-old puppy and taken to a municipal shelter. He was rescued in April 2024 and has now spent over two years living in a private shelter, patiently waiting for the family he deserves.   ‍‍ Loves People Marvin is incredibly affectionate with everyone he meets. He happily greets both familiar people and strangers, leans in for pets, and loves being touched. He enjoys both men and women equally and can be picked up comfortably by supporting him under his belly. While being held still feels a little unfamiliar to him, he enjoys the attention and affection.   Dog Friendly Marvin politely greets unfamiliar dogs but prefers peaceful coexistence over active play. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes and is not interested in conflict—even if another dog challenges him, he usually chooses to walk away. He prefers calmer canine companions and can feel uncomfortable around overly energetic dogs.   Cats His behavior around cats has not been observed yet, but a cat test can be arranged upon request.   Energy Level Marvin has a moderate energy level. He enjoys walks and outdoor adventures, then settles down nicely to relax once he’s had his exercise.   Walking He walks beautifully on leash without pulling and loves taking his time to sniff and explore the world. If something unfamiliar or scary, like a passing vehicle, catches his attention, he’ll briefly pause before continuing on his walk.   More About Marvin   Very affectionate and people-oriented Gentle with other dogs No food guarding toward people or dogs Rarely barks Calm and comfortable in a kennel/crate Primarily accustomed to doing his business outdoors   Marvin isn’t looking for excitement—he’s looking for a family. One that will give him the love and security he’s been waiting so patiently to find. In return, he’ll offer unwavering loyalty, quiet companionship, and a heart full of love.   If you think Marvin could be the missing piece of your family, we’d love to hear from you! Story
Hi, I'm Hoya. 💛🐾 My name is Hoya, and I'm a 2-year-old girl weighing about 10 kg. When we first meet, I might seem a little quiet and shy. I like to take my time getting to know new people. But if you're patient with me, you'll discover that I'm actually a sweet, affectionate girl who loves to share gentle cuddles and quiet moments with the people I trust. Before I was rescued, I arrived at a municipal shelter with a fractured back leg. Thankfully, it healed beautifully on its own, and the veterinarian confirmed that I didn't need surgery. Today, I live a happy, active life—I enjoy my walks, play with my dog friends, and don't let my past slow me down. One of my favorite things in the world is making dog friends! I get along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and love having companions to play with. If you already have a friendly dog at home, I think we'd have so much fun together. I'd also be perfectly happy as your one and only, as long as I have a family who loves me. I love people too, but I don't rush into new friendships. I can be a little cautious around strangers, especially adult men I've never met before. Please don't take it personally—I just need a little time to feel safe. Once I know you're kind, I'll choose to come to you on my own, and before long you'll see my affectionate, loving personality shine through. Walks are one of my favorite parts of the day. I don't pull much on the leash and naturally enjoy walking at my person's pace. Loud traffic, fluttering signs, and other everyday sights don't bother me very much. Even when I spot birds or small animals, I'm usually more curious than excited. I'm also a very easy companion to live with. I rarely bark, I'm comfortable riding in the car, and I'm calm and cooperative during vet visits. I take my medication without a fuss and I'm not a picky eater either. I'm quite independent, too. If my family leaves the room, I may whine softly for a moment, but I settle down quickly and wait patiently. I've even stayed home alone for a few hours without any problems. There are still a few things I'd love to learn with my forever family. I haven't had much training yet, so commands like "sit," "down," and "paw" will all be new adventures for us. When I first arrive in a new home, I may have a few potty accidents while I'm adjusting, but once I understand that it's my home, I settle into a reliable outdoor potty routine. If I had to describe myself in just a few words, I'd say I'm… Gentle. Kind. Loyal. A friend to everyone I love. I may need a little time to settle into my new life, but if you can be patient and love me for who I am, I promise I'll reward you with unwavering trust and a lifetime of quiet companionship. I've already overcome the hardest chapter of my life. Maybe the happiest chapter… is the one we'll write together. 💛

My sweet, affectionate personality shines wherever I go, and I'm always ready to greet the world with a wagging tail and a happy heart. I have a big appetite and never say no to treats, which makes me both entertaining and easy to motivate. Most people meet me and see how incredibly gentle and loving I am. It doesn't slow me down or affect my daily life, and I navigate the world just like any other dog. QUICK FACTS Name: Hosu Age: About 5 Years Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Brindle Weight: 20kg / 44lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from the euthanasia list at a municipal shelter, and that moment gave me a second chance at life. Thanks to the kindness and compassion of my rescuers, I now have the opportunity to look ahead to a brighter future. I'm ready to leave my past behind and begin a new journey with a loving family to call my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I'm Hosu! I may be a big boy, but my heart is even bigger. From the very first day I arrived, I acted as if I had lived there forever—happily greeting new people with a bright smile, following them around, and making friends within minutes. I absolutely love being around people and have a warm, easygoing personality that makes me a wonderful companion. With other dogs, I'm generally very polite and get along well, especially with dogs I know. While I don't have much interest in roughhousing or wild play sessions, I enjoy peaceful coexistence and have never been one to look for trouble. I simply appreciate respectful introductions and prefer dogs who mind their manners, just like I do. Sometimes my large size makes people overlook just how gentle and affectionate I am, but once we meet, you'll quickly discover that I'm a lovable softie who just wants to be by your side. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a calm nature and a heart full of love, I can't wait to meet you.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I absolutely love people and never hesitate to make new friends! Whether we've known each other for a long time or we're meeting for the very first time, I'll happily come over for attention, lean against you, and enjoy all the pets and affection you have to offer. While I love being close to my people, I prefer to keep all four paws on the ground and don't particularly enjoy being picked up. I haven't had the opportunity to meet children under 13 yet, so I'm still looking forward to discovering what they're like. · With Dogs: I'm polite and well-mannered around other dogs. I'll usually walk over to say hello when we meet, but I'm not particularly interested in playing and often prefer to do my own thing. While I generally don't pay much attention to other dogs, I appreciate calm and respectful introductions. If another dog is overly pushy or confrontational, I may stand up for myself, so thoughtful introductions and proper management help me feel comfortable and set everyone up for success. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I have a balanced energy level and enjoy spending time outdoors exploring and going for walks. After I've had some exercise and fresh air, I'm happy to settle down and relax by your side. I'm an experienced walker with good leash manners, so I stay close to my person, follow well, and enjoy our adventures together without pulling on the leash.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm easygoing around people during mealtime and don't feel the need to guard my food. When I'm eating, though, I prefer a little personal space from other dogs and may give a warning growl if one gets too close. If there's something I really want, I might let you know with a little bark—I like communicating with my people! I'm calm and relaxed in my kennel I'm comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going outside for potty breaks. I may be tempted to mark in new environments, but with guidance, routine, and consistency, I can continue developing good habits in my new home.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES    HOSU'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2772841##

QUICK FACTS Name: Bali Age: About 2 Years Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Brown and White Weight: 17kg / 37.4lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from the euthanasia list at a municipal shelter, and that moment gave me a second chance at life. Thanks to the kindness and compassion of my rescuers, I now have the opportunity to look ahead to a brighter future. I'm ready to leave my past behind and begin a new journey with a loving family to call my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I'm Bali! I'm a gentle, sweet-natured boy with a soft heart and a beautiful spirit. I can be a bit shy when meeting new people, and I prefer to take my time building trust. But once I feel safe, I'm incredibly affectionate and devoted. During my time in foster care, I formed a wonderful bond with my caregivers and showed just how loving and loyal I can be. I used to avoid visitors, but with patience and positive experiences, I've become much more comfortable meeting new people and learning that strangers can become friends too. One thing that comes naturally to me is getting along with other dogs. I enjoy their company and have wonderful manners, making me a great companion in a multi-dog home. Beneath my slightly cautious exterior is a sweet boy who simply needs a little time to let his heart shine. If you're willing to be patient with me in the beginning, I'll reward you with a lifetime of love, trust, and companionship. I can't wait to meet the person who will help me write the next chapter of my story.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but treats are a great way to win me over! I'll happily accept snacks and start building trust right away. While I may need a little extra time before I'm comfortable with pets, once I get to know you, my sweet and affectionate personality begins to shine. When I truly feel safe, I'll even roll over and show you my belly—a special sign of trust. I generally feel more comfortable around women and may be a bit more cautious around men at first, but patience and kindness help me gain confidence. I haven't had the opportunity to meet children under 13 yet, so I'm still looking forward to discovering what they're like. · With Dogs: I love making new dog friends! Whether we've known each other for a long time or we're meeting for the very first time, I'm always happy to walk over, say hello, and invite them to play. I tend to get along especially well with dogs around my own size and enjoy having dog friends to spend time with. If another dog tries to provoke me, I'm more likely to walk away and avoid conflict than engage in an argument. I also take a lot of comfort from having other dogs around, and their presence helps me feel more confident, relaxed, and secure. TRAINING & HABITS I'm easygoing when it comes to mealtime and don't feel the need to guard my food from people or other dogs. When I see unfamiliar people, I may bark at first because I'm letting you know that I'm unsure, but with a little time and a gentle introduction, I can become more comfortable. I'm calm and well-behaved in my kennel I'm flexible with my potty habits, comfortably using both indoor pee pads and going outside for bathroom breaks.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES When I was very young, I came into the shelter with a broken leg and needed surgery. Because my growth plate was affected, one of my legs ended up a little shorter than the other. It doesn't slow me down or affect my daily life, but it does make me a little unique—just one more thing that makes me, me. I tend to feel more comfortable around women and usually warm up to them quickly. Men can seem a little intimidating to me at first, so I may need some extra time, patience, and gentle introductions before I feel fully at ease. Once I learn that I'm safe, I can build trust and form wonderful bonds. I find a lot of comfort in the company of other dogs and tend to feel more confident when I have a friend by my side. Having another dog around helps me feel safe, relaxed, and secure, and I often look to my furry companions for reassurance in new situations.    BALI'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2772846##
