Sia is a sweet 1-year-old male Jindo mix, weighing about 16 kilos, and the brother of Joonsoo. With his gentle nature and loving personality, Sia is a dog who quickly wins hearts. Sia loves humans and cuddles. He enjoys being close to people and happily soaks up affection whenever it’s offered. He is also excellent with other dogs and shows no food aggression. When he first arrived he was very skinny, so he can still eat quite quickly — a habit from the time when meals were uncertain. As he settles into a stable home and routine, this usually improves. Like many rescue dogs, Sia has never lived inside a home before, so his future family will need to guide him through house training and daily routines. With gentle, calm training and consistency, he is expected to adapt well. He may also need some patient guidance to become fully comfortable walking on a leash. Sia can sometimes be a bit skittish around men, but with kindness and time he learns to trust. Weighing approximately 16 kg, he has the typical appearance of a Jindo, with an attractive face and an incredibly handsome appearance. As a puppy, Bruno was rescued in a severely malnourished and emaciated state after suffering from abuse and neglect. His condition was truly heartbreaking. However, with consistent love and care, he has transformed into a strong and healthy dog. Despite his difficult past, Bruno has never lost his cheerful spirit or his love for people. He enjoys human touch and often approaches people, seeking affection. He has little to no wariness of strangers, making him an open and friendly dog who quickly approaches people he has never met before.He generally gets along well with other dogs. However, he tends to play a little rough, particularly with his smaller friends. This behavior likely stems from his lack of proper socialization as a puppy. Due to his painful early life, he never had the chance to learn how to interact properly with other dogs. Bruno is now staying at a training center, where he is improving his social skills through daily interactions with various dogs. However, as he bonds deeply with his adopter and develops a strong sense of attachment, his love for people could manifest as jealousy or a protective instinct and this may lead to conflicts with other dogs. This is not because he has an aggressive nature, but rather because he loves people so much. People say I’m still at that age where I just want to run, play, and learn everything about the world—and they’re right. But my world started a little differently. I came to a shelter when I was just a tiny puppy, and for over a year, my days were spent in a small space. I didn’t get to explore much back then… but somehow, I never stopped believing that people are kind and the world is exciting.When I see humans, my tail starts wagging before I even realize it. I walk right up to say hello—I just can’t help myself. I love other dogs too, and I make friends easily. Being around others makes me feel happy and safe. About six months ago, something new began for me. I moved to a training center, where I started learning what “life” can be like. I’ve met lots of different people, learned rules, and practiced basic training. The trainers say I’m smart (I think so too 😉), and they always smile when I show them my cute side—which I have a lot of.But there’s one thing I’ve never had before… a real home. 🏠 Leo currently in a Vancouver foster home Hi! I’m Leo 💛 I’m a 11-month-old boy, a Jindo–Retriever mix, and I’m the same age as Theo! Right now I’m about 8.5kg—yes, I’m really that small! People say I might grow to around 10kg, so I’ll likely stay on the smaller side, even when I’m all grown up. I had a bit of a scary start… I was rescued with Theo just before it was too late. But don’t worry—those days are behind me now! I’m healthy, bright, and so ready to find my forever family. Everyone tells me I’m even cuter in real life than in photos. (If you meet me, you’ll see why… I’m tiny, wiggly, and full of charm!) I’m still a puppy, which means I LOVE people. I’ll come right up to you, wagging my tail, hoping you’ll notice me. I really like being close—leaning on you, following you around on my short little legs, and just being part of your world. Sometimes I play, sometimes I get sleepy very quickly (being this cute is hard work, you know!). I might wander off for a moment, but then I’ll come running back like, “Hey… where did you go? I want to be near you!” Because I'm still a young puppy, I sometimes show my excitement through play by gently grabbing at pant legs or clothing. I'm not trying to be naughty—I'm just still learning the right way to play! With plenty of daily walks, playtime, and opportunities to burn off my puppy energy, this behavior usually becomes much less frequent as I grow. If I try to grab your clothes, a calm but consistent "No" and redirecting me to an appropriate toy will help me learn. Like any puppy, I need patient guidance to understand which behaviors are okay and which aren't. I would also love an active lifestyle! Daily walks and fun play sessions are important for helping me grow into a happy, well-balanced dog. If possible, I'd enjoy safe opportunities to run and play freely in places like a dog park, where I can socialize, explore, and use up all my puppy energy. I was rescued when I was very young and grew up living with other puppies. During my time at a foster home in Korea, I had some difficult experiences with young children who touched me too much and didn’t know when to stop. Because of that, I’ve learned to be cautious about approaching people first. But that’s not the whole story of who I am. At first, I may take a step back and quietly observe. But if you give me time and let us get to know each other, I’ll allow gentle touch, and eventually, I’ll choose to come closer on my own. Once trust is built, I’ll look at my person with soft eyes, walk over quietly, and lean against them for comfort. I’m very social with other dogs. I get along well with dogs my age and feel calm and secure when I’m around them. With unfamiliar people or new environments, I just need a little more time to adjust. During that time, I ask that you respect my pace and watch over me with patience and consistent love. I’m still only 1 year old. Before my past worries become permanent, with enough time and bonding with my person, my current cautiousness can fade away. Before I was rescued, I spent my days wandering the streets on my own. Thankfully, I was brought to safety and given a fresh start. Now I'm ready to find a forever home where I can finally belong. If you're looking for a social butterfly, I might be your perfect match! I absolutely love people and enjoy making new friends wherever I go. Even though Jindos are often known for being reserved with strangers, that's not really my style. I'll happily walk right up to new people, turn around, wiggle my little bottom, and silently ask, "Could you give me some pets right here?" I adore being close to my people, getting kisses, and even climbing onto your lap whenever I can. 🥰 I enjoy spending time with other dogs too! One of my favorite places is a dog park where I can run, chase my friends, and zoom around with endless excitement. I'm an energetic girl who loves outdoor adventures, so I'd be happiest with a family that enjoys walks, playtime, and making fun memories together. I do have one little quirk—I'm a bit protective of my favorite toys and treats.
